Code Lyoko - Rise of Xana

I mean like not in Lyoko. I want to see if there's anywhere I can find an opening to place my character in.

@Shog Well obviously. But so far, everything else I've read, is. What's happening outside of Lyoko right now; like a general background of immediate events?


@iShyShy Yeah, I know. I'm just trying to see if I could enter now, or if I should wait until the next day in the RP.
 
Dahlia is being attacked by one of the water monsters. I'm sure that there are a few around campus that your character could stumble upon.
 
@iShyShy Wait, a few? Dang. But that's still not really enough to become a part of the story. Being one of the random students being attacked by the monsters isn't really significant enough to be introduced into the group. I was thinking I could follow someone back to the factory or something, like following a secret crush in the middle of one of the crises (like after saving them, in an act of sudden courage of their crush being in trouble, from a close call, then following in worry or curiosity) and find out everything, then offer to help. I'm trying to play my character off as the silent, timid type in the real world, but becomes a full blown (to an extent) sadist in Lyoko, while still remaining a kind and warmhearted person in both worlds. (I mean he's got glasses, for crying out loud. You can't have glasses and not be secretly sadistic [at least in the world of anime {because almost every guy/boy/man in anime with glasses is secretly sadistic from my experience}])

I was moreso leaving it open for you to decide what to do. If that's what you plan, then your character would be a great fit for Kiara since we've established her being pulled to the 'dark side' after someone has developed a crush on her to make it more dramatic. If that's what you wish to do then an idea would be to help Dahlia in the real world while they take care of things in Lyoko. Dahlia is Kiara's roommate after all, and if Kiara gets booted out of Lyoko (devirtualized) to see your character saving her beloved roommate then maybe things might take off from there? Just an idea, let me know.


Edit: That would also give ride to your characters sadistic tendencies in Lyoko, a purpose to fight so hard and such.
 
You could go for Ebony. Since she's currently being attacked by the water monster right now anyway. That would get you into it immediately.

Well I knew that already. Alright. I think the Kiara idea has some serious plot potential, so I think I'll go with that. I'm still new at this, so I might not do it right, but I hope you all will help me out anyway you can. :)


 
So should I just go in whenever I think it's convenient? I don't want to interrupt anything.
 
While flow is important, I don't want to exclude you. Join in whenever you feel like you can.
 
Of course, but there's no "right" way. We're writing a story together is all ^.^ you do what you feel is best fitting.
 
Judging from the last Ebony post, she's stuck up a steel pole and the monster is trying to get to her.
 
Think about it this way. At least she didn't stay there and let it grab her like Jeremy usually did.
 
She only got away because it is not good at climbing. Anyway, you would have to pass it to get to the computer and that would attract its attention.
 
Still. Jeremy like ALWAYS gets caught by whatever apparition occurs during Xana attacks.


 
By the way, how far in to the RP are you, lengthwise in it? Like how long have they all known about Lyoko and Xana and all, because it seems like Jay just discovered his invisibility recently.

@iShyShy Ok. That makes sense. I'll have to look for an IRL opening, because I found one earlier in the day, but there was already more Lyoko posts after it.
