Code Lyoko - Rise of Xana

Or actually wait. I can do one of those "meanwhile, this is going on" things since James just rushed a Xana possessed Jay.

Oh heck yea. Loved it too. I'm in the middle of the second season, but I haven't had much time to watch it.

That might have been a little long, but it's the best I could do considering the meager background information I have. I'll try to keep my future posts much more concise. (Dang. I said water monster in like 5 different ways in that post.)


Hold on. Was she even in the bathroom when she was attacked? I don't remember for sure where she was.

@Ryu kishi It happens sometimes. The best to do is to check your "watched threads" under the forums tab because it will tell you when you haven't read something new in your threads.


@Jabrark Even if there are posts after something you want to respond to, you can still respond to the one post. Though the wording there isn't the best, what I mean is that if there is a specific post you want to reply to then you can go to it and click on the "reply" button and it will quote the post in your own post so people see what your character is responding to. Don't worry about length either, it was your introduction post and they're always longer. Post and say as much as you feel is fit, this is intermediate after all and a few paragraphs is totally fine.
 
@iShyShy Well I knew about the reply thing already, but I didn't know if it was okay. The thing is now, that I have no idea where to go from there to get into Lyoko, unless the story sets me up for it soon.
 
Once Kiara gets hit by Dark Fox again, she'll make her appearance in the real world and I have an idea of how to get you involved.
 
By the way, did Shog just make Jay evil, or is he pretending to be possessed by Xana for some ulterior motive?

I'm not sure why your character would do this, but you could follow Peter (@Flip Jester Boy) tot he factory.

The real Jay was captured by a Guardian and the one I am currently using is a digital copy made by Xana.
 
Well I thought about that, but it didn't seem like he had any explicit or underlying reason to follow Peter. Ahh. I wasn't aware of that.

Yeah, but I can't really do anything until Dahlia (@Little Sister) posts something, just because of the way I did it.
 
Alright I guess I'll give you my idea to let you decide lol. I was going to have Kiara rush to the school to make sure that her beloved roomie, Dahlia, was safe and that's how she would stumble upon Calvin saving her. Feeling indebted she would take the two to the factory to keep them safe because once the return to the past was activated, they wouldn't remember the factory anyway but the boys would remember. Now from there it all depends on if Calvin would really need to go into Lyoko... I don't think he really would at that point unless Kiara went in first (again) and he so heroically decided to do so as well. Then the whole conversion to darkness could occur and such? Just babbling ideas in my procrastination of studying for my anatomy practical. XP


 
We can kind of... finagle it if she doesn't post. Basically dragging her along if need be but only if it is absolutely necessary. I want my super amazing and perfect roomie to post. (@Little Sister ) It's always fun ^.^
 
@iShyShy Well, I think how they did it in the show was that devirtualization put such a strain on the body that going in a second time was impossible for the body to bear, so they could never go in. That might be the incentive for me to go in and save James from both Xana clones (@Shog & @Sensei Fox).


 
@iShyShy Oh wait, I see what you're getting at. But in that case, I think Calvin would go in first, as per the physical stress of devirtualization, then James and I would both be in trouble or something, causing you to have Ebony put you in again. But I don't think we should have you possessed just yet. I think we can make the relationship between Calvin and Kiara (or probably just from Calvin) deeper, and make it a fuller plot, like they've become good friends overtime, and it's growing into something more, then Kiara gets possessed and he's forced to realize his feelings for her.
 
Good point but @Shog would have Ebony (Jeremy) pull the evil Jay out to make things somewhat easier on James. Calvin could still go in to help him and Peter if/when he gets there. That would also allow the story to flow regarding Calvin's ability to continue talking to Kiara ^.^


 
That's what I was hoping, good. I definitely want to spend some time developing that relationship and I'm sure Dahlia will have a lot of fun picking on Kiara about it.
 
Well... sort of. It was the second time that they all went into Lyoko, the day they first met James. They went in to find Fox after he disappeared on their first venture into Lyoko and ended up finding Dark Fox. Dark Fox and Jay battled and that's when it happened. Then the stuff with Dark Fox wanting Kiara to smile, Sai and James saving her and such. I think I put that into my summary in here. We had a timeskip to a week later after that event.
 
@iShyShy Oh. Okay. I don't think I understand. I didn't read those first like 30 pages of stuff. And what the heck is a timeskip? Is that supposed to be a return to the past? Wouldn't that be a time rewind, not a skip? Lols. :P Never mind. Just nitpicking is all.
 
Lol you butt. XP I don't blame you for not reading it all. I'll go find the summary really quick and respost it for you. What do you not understand? I'll try to clarify better.

I'm going to need you to explain what you did. I'm fairly certain you broke physics, but I'm not even sure what direction you ended up going. Either way I'm fairly certain you wouldn't have to time to adjust your speed or direction even without being shot at. Just keep in mind that I wasn't even going to take away half the life points (which if I remember right is the average amount of life points taken from a tank shot), you need to take damage eventually, and fake Jay will end up gone one way or another.
 
@iShyShy Ahh. Now I know what you meant by time skip. It was a time lapse to the next week. That makes sense. (I'm fighting the urge to nitpick and I'm losing. xD No, but seriously. I REALLY want to nitpick.)

Yeah, I'm kinda confused as to what you did too, @Ryu kishi What's with that sword above your bra and under you or whatever?

Alright that bra was an auto-correct fail. And it's not impossible. Pro sky divers do it all the time. They do a couple of front or back flips and then go into something I can't remember but it increases there speed and they decrease it by going spread eagle.


Also I was already hit once by the first set of enemies.
 
Lol aw well I'm glad that things were at least somewhat cleared up for you. Yes, a timeskip is where we literally just skip to a new time to give a chance for things to grow without having no action occur. I can feel the tension from your want to nitpick from here XP I'm curious.
 
@Ryu kishi But there's no way you could've done that from that altitude. I know what you're talking about, and it's called Accelerated Free Fall and there's no way you could've done that from there effectively.

Have you seen how high Ulrick jumped in the show? If I remember right he jumped into the top of a krab once. And another time he jumped even higher and that was a straight up jump no ability required. So put that jump hight from on top of a tank and it's pretty high I would think.
