Code Lyoko - Rise of Xana

I don't think it's possible to make that guy realize that he's overgenerous because from my viewpoint, he's thick as a brick. I'm sure he did notice to an extent how awful his girlfriend is after he was put in that situation, even if it was only a minuscule amount.

It's sucks to have to deal with something like that. I can kinda relate because I've been in similar circumstances with my family members breaking my stuff, except they don't pay for repairs or replacements, which means I'm left with broken crap. DX

Yeah I think we all have had family break something. Just depends what it is and they'll feel obligated to replace it or not. My cousin broke my gamecube and I was so upset.

I displaced my cousin's wife's jaw once. Not sure if that's the same thing but I didn't pay for it. Put it back in place but didn't pay for it.

It was definitely on purpose, although with good reason. She was screaming at my 14 year old sister in a little drunken rage like the trailer trash she is. All other diplomatic relations failed so one good fist later and she hasn't screamed at anyone or drank while I'm around since.

It was a family event and they're newly married. Nobody really likes her because she is in fact trailer trash but they don't want to openly admit it in front of the whole extended family. Family politics and all that. The plus side is nobody intervened after the punch either so it all worked out.

I assume because they were all afraid of her drunkenness, so I commend you for your action. Y( ^_^ )Y

*Applauds the act* Only more proof you were in the right. Politics are the worst. I've lost half of my family due to my father's older siblings trying to take advantage of him.

Very opposed to family politics. Don't understand most of it really. I'm more than happy to punch bad people though.

Dang. That's rough. Indian families are usually filled with inner clan politics and the like. My family; on the other hand, has very little conflict in it, aside from the issue with my uncle and his ex-wife who continues to ruin his life even after the divorce and his remarriage.

I'm Italian. Usually we would all love each other and such. That works for the one half of the family that I love dearly. The other half... I only knew for a few years growing up. My brother (16 now) didn't even realize that we had a whole half of the family gone until one of our cousins was like "We are visiting our cousins tomorrow" and my brother was blown away by the fact that there were more cousins than just us.

Hey, I don't even know a lot of my family exists either. Mainly because they've done nothing with their lives or don't care to join in on family events.

They show up at funerals for some reason though.

Yeah every time I've been at one I look through the family section and just think "Where did these people come from?" and then they talk to me like they know me afterwards. You know, the whole "I remember when you were this tall." bit.

I can't handle that, then you need to respond in some way that you know they expect. For me, I usually get the age line because I'm short and they think that it's funny to use my height to break the ice. I'm 4'11, just for perspective.
