Code Lyoko - Rise of Xana

Got it. That makes more sense. The only reason I had her pull up Jake again was because they aren't sharing the exact same screen. She has hers and he has his because otherwise she would be seeing everything he pulled up. She gave him the window to see Jake earlier but needed to pull it back up for herself. Unless that's wrong, I can change it.
Well the interface for towers in Lyoko is different than on the supercomputer terminal. You can't really see anything on it through the tower panel, it's more like a telepathic connection to it.

^ I feel that pain. My computer is from my college and because of that I can barely run any game smoothly. Once I graduate, I'm investing in building a super computer.
Hell yeah. I used to have an iBuyPower PC, the limited edition Chimera and, as we discussed before, my cousin trashed it a couple years ago because he was an idiot 8 year old trying to hide my stuff before I got home from school, and he tried to pick it up from on top of my desk where I had it and he dropped it on the edge of the desk and it fell on the carpet. Both at odd angles so damage was at its max.

Well Sai is a super BAMF and sees all of Lyoko through the tower XP.

That is one of the most depressing things I have ever heard and I really can't explain how sorry I am. I feel the heart shattering pain from just reading it and honestly I would have bee so furious, even if he was only eight.

Oh believe me. I was. The Chimera was limited edition back then and it looked really cool while performing really well. It was a lot more expensive back then though, because obviously, it was limited edition. I think it's like $1400 now, give or take a couple hundred.

Not at all. Mostly because my uncle never heard about it because my cousin had the help of my dad to keep him from knowing. My dad always wanted me to get into sports but this was how the dice fell and he's been holding a resentment of that so he jumped at the opportunity to downgrade me.

That's absolutely horrid and I really don't know what I would do in that situation. Your father shouldn't go to such extents to try and push you into sports and should really fix something of yours that was broken when it should not have been.

Yeah, I know, but he's not all that bad. I play sports anyways, it's just he wants me to play year round like my sister does and I can't do that with Baseball, which it only in the spring. The thing is that buying parts for computers really racks up a bill and our family is kind of in an economic clump with all this medicare business and crap messing with the salaries of people in the medical field and the majority of my family works with medicine. My parents and uncle are all pharmacists so it's just been hard lately, especially with my uncle for the divorce which is why even I refused to tell him after it happened (probably should have mentioned that earlier but it slipped my mind. It just slipped my mind because I was going out to eat with my parents and sister after the first day of exams and I was driving. I was rushing to finish the message before I started going). It's not simply because of the sports thing.

Well first off, don't worry about rushing, I have no problem waiting. Baseball is a one season sport but that's okay because I did multiple sports and hated how much time they took from my life. I understand what you mean with the whole medical business changing. My boyfriend and I were looking into going into the medical field but with everything going on we are trying to see if it's really even worth it in the end.

All I'm gunna say is screw every politician who's not even educated in medicine trying to change how the medical field works. It's become ridiculously hard to respond to emergencies now. Unless they're actively coding or have a limb missing, we're limited in treatment until we can get information on who they are and their insurance and whatnot.

I was in a car accident this past March so thank the 90's that they were able to pull my name out of my traumatized friend (he was driving, I was in the passenger seat).

Yep. Emergency response is a beautiful mess at the moment. We had to wheel this one lady we had to pick up to the front desk and check her in like a walk-in patient just to treat her properly.

Scared the hell out of us too. Most of have decided to do what we were taught to do and treat the patient first and let the legal system fuck itself.

I know this is random but A World Without Danger just started playing on my playlist and now I'm in the mood for some Lyoko action lol x.x Oh geez.

Well the original (I assume) French translation is really great. Then again I speak some French. The lyrics are slightly different.

I know how you feel. My midterms are this week. Two days of sitting in the classrooms with nothing to do for an hour while watching people take tests. The worst of it is this week though. My history midterm is the only one I'm worried about, considering what's on it. 20 I.D.s and the usual college level essay prompt on every chapter we've done so far.

I looked by the song by the way, and I realized it was the theme song immediately. I was like "Wow, derp."

XP I had a feeling you'd recognize it once you looked it up.

I always hated midterms too. I would finish early and do well and people seemed like they took ages so I just went on the computer or played games on my iTouch. That sounds like a horrid history midterm though...my history midterms were relatively easy. I had to write four essays for Western Lit today and my hand practically died.

Dang. That's rough. My World Lit exam didn't have an essay on it, but that's because the teacher put 100 short/not-actually-short-because-the-answers-are-a-mile-long answer questions on it. I took that one yesterday.

Oh yeah. I started watching Gurren Lagann a couple months back. Never got past episode ... I think it was 4. School caught up with me once it started.

(@deathfox6 (Not trying to be pushy or anything, but...) We need you to continue the story. You're still in Lyoko and I'm trying to get you out. Should I drag you along or wait?)
