Snow-17,Second Year-Blood Witch
Interacting with: peachpuff peachpuff

Snow laughed a bit at the flowers growing on Ivan's antlers... until they bloomed the color of her eyes. Snow hardly ever looked in a mirror at her eyes. She hated the color. The white blonde hair could be passed off as human... her eyes? No way. She remembered what that man had called them...

He stalked her in that barn, a leer on his face.

"Magic users like you are the reason why we are all royally fu-****. People like you owe us. You owe us for what your war took!" He slapped her hard, Snow falling to the ground like a sack of bricks. She was only 9... only 9... Looking up she repeated she was only 9. She hadn't caused that war. Hadn't caused it. Hadn't caused it... "I didn't cause it..." She whimpered before she was kicked in the stomach. Coughing, she clawed at the ground and heaved. Her thorns broke through her skin and the man stepped back. "Disgusting."

He grabbed her by the hair, avoiding her thorns as he looked her in the eye with a sneer. "Such a monster. Red eyes are the sign of a demon you know girly." He paused, studying her. "Though I wouldn't call them Red. More like... if a rose were to bleed. And you are a little rose huh with your thorns?"

"I'm not your rose." She hissed, tears streaking through the dirt on her pale cheeks. He laughed and threw her again. "You are whatever I want you to be. You are a demon. A monster. I could kill you now under our great law but you owe us. You owe me everything. And I always take what I am owed." Snow laid in a heap as he made his "little rose" bleed.

Snow looked up from the memory, letting it fall to the back of her mind. Her memory had taken a second in the real world but it had still felt like an eternity to her. Why did she have to remember? "It's nice to meet you too." She whispered, trying not to focus on his antlers. He was just trying to be nice. And she wasn't a monster, she could appreciate that. "Mine is sparring, guess I'm not that original..." She laughed nervously. "I just... well I wanted to figure out how to be kind of useful in a battle. Figure that is the class to do it."

Ivan was very calming. She now wish she had magic over the elements so she could be in a class with him. He would be someone to talk too and maybe even... laugh with. She hadn't really found much joy in anything. A small part of her was desperate for a friend. But Snow was still too afraid to try. "It's a shame we don't have any electives together. I'm in Healing and Defense and then Energy Manipulation. I don't really know anyone in any of my classes so I completely agree with you on not looking forward to them." She scratched at her shoulder, hugging herself a bit as she took in a breath. This was how you made friends right? Oh god it had been so long since she had had to do any of this. "Um... do you um... food?" She finished lamely, slapping her head against the table in her mind repeatedly. Um um um food? God she was such a dumb dumb. "Get food. Do you want to get food?" She muttered, looking at the table as if she found the grain work just fascinating.

Thistle Kasten - The Wannabe Marathon Runner ( q r o w q r o w u k i y o u k i y o StarryKnights StarryKnights )

The little fairy was glad Gabe took over the conversation after the Headmistress finished talking, offering the girl a warm smile and refraining from popping in with remarks regarding the vampire's pep talk. Despite her eagerness to get to know the blue haired lady, Thistle didn't want to make the conversation take another turn for the worst. That, and she was quickly distracted by the prospects of food. Her stomach rumbled, urging her to hurry up and eat something.

“I’m hungry and I’m sure you are Thistle. Want to go grab food? I’ll even carry your food if you ask nicely.”

Thistle fake pouted at Gabe, before sticking her tongue out at him. She wasn't horribly offended or anything, even if she acted like it, but she was too excited for food to genuinely care. "Race you two!" she squeaked, jumping off the table and flying as fast as her little wings could take her towards where the food was-- at least, until she almost ran into another student. She... grudgingly slowed down a bit at that point, although it was obvious she was still feeling a bit competitive.

Tempest Wilkins

Tempest was grateful for the actvities to start, as the Headmistress took to the stsge she was quick to snap to attention. The speech was nothing new, though she frowned as the Headmaster's absence was pointed out. It must've been fairly important business for him to be gone...
She didn't dwell on it too much though, mainly because she kept replaying her disastrous reply to Thistle's simple question.

God I'm such an idiot, she mentally lashed herself.

Tempest's caution and insecurities meant socializing was never her strong suit, more often than not if she wasn't straight up rude to her peers than she prattled off something foolish due to nerves. Either way she tended to ward off peers around her own age.
It wasn't for lack of trying, after some diasterous attempts the previous year she'd decided this year she'd fly under the radar. As much as she could at any rate.

So much for that.

As the speech ended Gabe spoke up, Tempest's attention reluctantly shifted back to the table as the teen spoke.
She realized she'd never introduced herself, and that she came off as tense and awkward as she felt. Her cheeks flushed red with embarrassment, partly for how obvious her discomfort and partly at being called a kid. She was sixteen and this guy didn't look much older than her.
Still, she could see he meant well...she also noted a slight change in his teeth, she could've sworn she'd spotted fangs before.

"My name is Tempest...and I appricate your ...honest and candid opnion on my social anxiety, Gabe". There was no sarcasom or malice in her voice, Tempest appriciated the older teens words. She could be just as direct and candid when necessary...though that was apart of why others tended to avoid her. Telling the truth sometimes did more harm than good. In this case though, despite how embarrassing it was, the truth made Tempest feel a bit better.

She flashed a timid smile as the subject shifted to food, her growling stomach reminded her of how hungry she was. Seeing everyone else was going to get lunch Tempest rose and followed after, she trailed behind Lucas and contemplated the best way to avoid embarrassing herself further.

Gabriel

Gabe grinned at his friends glare, laughing at the reaction. “Sure, sure. Of course your awake.” He mocked Lucas as the boy stood. “That’s why your still half asleep right?” He shook his head at the boy, turning his attention to Thistle to catch her sticking her tongue out at him. “Very mature young lady.” Gabe murmured jokingly. Running his tongue over his hide fangs before repeating the gesture, making sure no one else saw him. How could he defend others if he was viewed as childish? He regained his composure as she announced a race. “That isn’t a -“ and she was off. Gabe sighed as he watched her sped off and hit another student. “Tried to say it wasn’t a smart Idea. “ he grumbled, turning his attention to the other girl as she spoke. He would let Thistle win this time. But he was sure he could’ve beat her if given the chance.

“Don’t mention it. Tempest, Sorry for calling yah a kid. Didn’t know how else to address you.” He replied, walking with Luca and her behind him. Luckily the line they found themselves in was small and despite the hundred or so students they reached the kitchen faster than Sayokos line. Gabe found his fairy friend and gave he a scolding look before winking at her and turning his attention to the food. Garlic? Didn’t bother him any. Not that he smelled any anyway. He hated when everyone made vampire jokes unless he was the one who did it. Mostly cause he couldn’t feel offended if he was the one who said it. He just grabbed a plate and found the nearest meal, a salad ironically since he preferred meat dishes, and helped Thistle should she need it before striding back to their table and scaring off the kids that tried to steal it with a sneer.

Deciding once everyone return to start a conversation, he looked at everyone and thought for a moment. “Since I forget who was in my classes last year other than Luca, anyone else have sparring first elective?”He asked, turning to Thistle. “Oh! Thistle I heard you visited home? How was it it?”
He asked trying to make conversation.

Lucas Marlows

Lucas playfully rolled his eyes as Gabe mocked him, because he couldn't exactly deny the other. Not with the way he was looking. He was pretty sure he looked like a zombie, and he wouldn't blame others if they actually began to believe that he was one, instead of being a demon. Thinking about it, he wasn't even sure if people knew he was demon, because he certainly didn't look like one. He didn't have the horns, or the black wings and tail that appeared in most people's minds when they thought of demons, and he was glad he didn't. If he did, he probably would've died along with his mother.

The thought made him shudder. He shouldn't have thought of that, not so early in the morning. At least not until he got some coffee running through his system. Well, it wasn't even morning now technically it was already afternoon. Time passes by so quickly when you're sleep deprived. just like me lol

Lucas would've honestly considered racing the Fairy if she hasn't run into someone, but the thought ended as quickly as it appeared when he remembered just how clumsy he was. Besides, if he ran in to someone, then they would fall as well as him, and Lucas didn't want to bring that much attention to himself. Still he quickened his pace just a bit, so little that it was hardly noticeable unless one was paying attention. He kept the little fairy in his line of sight so as not to lose her, because he knew that it could happen, and quite easily at that. As they entered the line he pondered on what he would eat, having never been good at making decisions when there were so many options presented to him. He settled on coffee with so much creamer and sugar it had turned a light caramel brown, a cup of water, and a grilled cheese sandwich i don't know tbh .

"I'm honored you remembered me." Lucas mumbled out before taking a sip of the sweet coffee, despite having to balance his food in one hand now. In his mind, it would've definitely ended in a tragedy, but luck seemed to be on his side and he hadn't spilled, even when he set the coffe back down on the tray and gripped it with both hands. His gaze went from Gabe to Thistle as Gabe asked her about her home, genuinely curious about it. Not many people here, including him, really talked about their home life from what he had gathered, so this was something new he was hearing.

Thistle Kasten - The Mildly Mood-swingy Fairy ( q r o w q r o w u k i y o u k i y o StarryKnights StarryKnights SHE'S ONTO US)

Thistle decided she had won the 'race.' Even though she had smacked into someone. They were fine, right? Right? She hoped so, but her concern quickly faded as her little group entered the food line. She had decided on having a rather large slice of lemon potato pie with an unholy amount of bacon on the side, along with a cup of ginseng tea. Sweet foods that might've been almost sickening weren't an uncommon thing for Thistle to pile onto her plate, although today she'd decided on something a bit more savory. Asides from the tea, of course, which she had poured a frightening amount of honey into. (these posts are making me so hungry)

She'd stubbornly refused Gabe's help on getting food, saying something along the lines of, "If I can't carry it, how'm I supposed to get it all in my stomach?" It must've looked silly though, her plate was almost as wide as her body, and it was a wonder how she never managed to dump all her food on the floor. Except for that one time during her first year, when she was still trying to figure out how to hold a plate. It... wasn't her proudest moment.

After Gabe shooed away the students that tried snagging their table, Thistle set her plate down and stood on her seat. The table reached to about her collarbone, something she had gradually gotten used to. The little fairy had already managed to choke down a couple slices of bacon by the time, and was on her way to eating another piece by the time Gabriel asked the group if anyone else took sparring. "Nuh uh! Big people thwacking around other big people is frightening. Maybe next year if I grow a few inches~." She was convinced she would grow taller, just a little bit more, even though she was already about the size of her mother by now. Speaking of- "Yeah! I visited Ma. She lives sorta close by-- but she seemed sad." Thistle said with a little frown, which quickly turned into another smile as she squeaked, "But! We made pie! So much pie. I like pie."

KoKo, second year
Sayoko flinched at the 'I don't bite joke.', almost smirking as she remembered the last time she heard it.She made a mental note of his nickname, but withheld speaking it. "Ok, I prefer if you didn't joke about biting. Last person who said that fed off my blood. That was last year, in exchange for help." She explained, rolling her eyes at the memory. She had agreed to it after all, since they both benefited from the agreement. She got to stay at the academy, and he got to regain his strength after his fight. Shrugging she continued moving with the line, pushing her thoughts to the side. KoKo politely smiled, nodding. "And I'm fine, I don't need help." She murmured, agitated he kept bringing up her weariness. Who would want someone to constantly point out your weariness or sickness anyway? She never showed how she felt toward the matter as she walked to the kitchen and gazed at what was offering before grabbing a salad to satisfy her currently upset stomach. She couldn't eat meat right after casting because of the way her body reacted to it, and she wasn't to keen on the idea of anything else that was offered. She made a cup of tea before walking, although a bit slowly, back to her seat.

KoKo sat down, letting the spell disappear and she sighed at the release of magic. The tension that had been tight in her limbs with the spell left and she stretched them freely, before taking a sip of her tea. Realizing she wasn't making the effort in conversation while Oki was at least trying, although she wasn't sure of his intentions. A frustrated sigh left her lips. Her eyes no longer swirled with magic as she looked to her companion, if she could call anyone that. "So, erm Naoki, was it? What's your electives?" She cautiously asked, wishing it was someone she knew she was talking to. (is this enough? idk what else to write.....)

Ivan/Tamo, 3rd year.
Interacting: littleberry littleberry Mentioned: Sayoko
Ivan may have been naive, but he didn't miss the way she avoided looking at the flowers. His eyes widen a bit in internal panic and he tugged at his ear as he willed the flowers to shift colors. They went from the dull red, to light pink, to white, finally blooming white lotuses with light pink tips before stopping. His naive nature kicked back in at the mention of fighting. He pouted a bit, even though he knew she had her reasons for wanting to fight, or he assumed she did since most people did. Tamotsu relaxed once more, easing in his seat as he watched the line progress. He noticed Sayoko making her way through the line with another person. At first he had narrowed his eyes thinking that the person was trying to start trouble, then realized she was talking with them and he gave a small smile. Glad she was talking with someone other than him. At the mention of classes he frowned, a bit sad they wouldn't have class together. Except the first few, but those weren't the same since it was structured differently. He gave a sad smile to her, as he looked to her. "I have elemental and concealment. " he stated, lowering his ears. "Although I know someone who has Energy Manipulation. But I dint know any one in defense." He added, since he knew Sayoko chose summoning and he hadn't asked anyone else what classes they had.

At the mention of food he checked the lines again and noticed the had shortened considerably. "Sure, the lines aren't to long and crowded now." he exclaimed, laughing a bit as he stood. He turned to her hesitantly offering his hand, unsure if she would like that or not. Maybe she didn't like contact, ot maybe she actually didn't like and him and was only talking with him to be polite. He wasn't sure, but he hoped not to make a fool of himself for offering his hand to her. After all to him it was a common gesture, he and his sister did it all the time.

Naoki "Oki": Year 2
The execution of his joke had taken off, and in most people it would bring about a chuckle or something. But in his participant it seemed to bring out a different response, not quite the laugh he was looking for but a seemingly positive response all the same. Tough crowd. The piece of advice that was offered to him, though it was something rather unexpected, even coming with a small chunk of personal information. Despite this she had revealed something that sounded quite unpleasant, "Yikes! Sounds like that sucked" Whether that held room to be taken as a joke or not was entirely up to the opposing end in the conversation. The line hadn't been bad when they got up there, so he took an extra moment with getting what he desired to eat. Well not what but rather the best of the ones provided, reaching his hand out and plucking it from the selection he now held an absolutely gorgeous red apple. A shimmer seemed to come from it due to the light in the room.

Why an apple? One might ask, and the answer is quite simple. A light lunch tended to help Naoki focus and do well with his studies, of course this had never really been a struggle for him anyways it was a thing to keep in mind. Ever since the first year his routine had been pretty straightforward, either an apple or some light snack instead of lunch and then eating a generous afternoon meal. This provided him with all the energy he needed, without discounting any of the vital nutrients that were necessary. When it came to breakfast however, that was anyone's guess as to what he would do. Outside of his thoughts Oki had once again accompanied Sayoko, keeping up the actions he stated he was going to follow earlier. When she sat he accompanied her but upon the other side of the table.

He held the apple atop his thumb, with the index finger and middle finger to keep it steady, along with prevent him from dropping it. "Hmm? Oh curious if you'll have me in any of your courses?" he said and straightened his seated posture. He seemed to stare at his apple for a moment, recollecting on what his classes were even. "Well my first is Magic sparring, followed by Summoning, and tied up nicely by Weapons Training. How about yourself Koko?" He asked before his other hand moved to the apple as well. It met the stem, and he began to twist it, this was, of course, a game played by children but it was also a little something to pass the time along with. Quietly he began to mutter, "A. B. C. D..." until eventually he had reached the end of the twenty-six letters. The stem still hadn't come off, so he was a tad confused, after two more turns however it snapped free of the apple. "As I figured." He muttered quietly before biting into the apple, still of course listening for Koko's response.

Tempest Wilkins

"Well, now you can call me Tempest", she replied, looking to Gabe. She caught a glimpse of Thistle racing ahead of the others...and straight into an unsuspecting student. She couldn't help but smile, the fairy seemed to have a bottomless supply of energy.
Tempest followed the rag tag group into the shorter of the lines, her stomach growled again as the plethora of options laid out for the students came into view. Any dish you could possibly think of was represented here, the academy served a wide variety of students and staff, some of which had stricter dietary needs. Tempest couldn't name half of what she saw, grabbing a plate she gathered a handful of plain potato chips, a cheese burger and some potato salad. A simple meal, one she used to eat in the summer back home. For a drink she grabbed a bottle of sweet tea, which was the only sweet beverage she really like to drink. Aside from chocolate milk, Tempest loved her chocolate milk. A fact she'd keep to herself for the time being.

Tray in hand she walked back to the table, she debated as to whether she should move and avoid a potentially awkward conversation, but figured that would be rude. Besides, she left her journal at the table, she took the same seat she'd had before, across from the other three and took a big bite out of her burger. With a mouth full of food all she could do was nod yes in response to Gabe's question.
It would be her first year taking the magic sparing class, she'd never though to use her powers offensively before, she was hoping that it would make it easier to control them though.
She didn't want to continue conjuring small tornadoes when she sneezed.

She couldn't help but smile at Thistle's animated response to Gabe's inquiry about home, she wished she could've done the same. Though she wrote her parents often, Tempest hadn't seen her mother and father since coming to the academy a little over a year ago now. They felt it was safer this way for all involved, and though they wrote her just as often, the written word would never be a good substitution for a hug or kiss.

Her breath evened out as he took away the flowers color. A laugh almost escaped her as he pouted, assuming it was in reference to finding out they did not share any of the same electives. "You know someone in Energy Manipulation? Well if they are friends with you I am sure that I might get along with them. I um... Well I find it hard to be open with people. But I'm trying to do better this year... it's just people make me nervous and I am blabbering." She muttered, looking away as she looked up and mentally hit herself in the forehead.

She hadn't even attempted to make friends last year, what made her think she could just suddenly jump into it? Snow froze though when he stood and offered his hand. Oh my god...oh my god does this mean he wants to be my friend? She thought, mentally preparing herself as she nodded, coughing to clear her throat as she flushed a bit in anxiety and felt her thorns pricking underneath her bandages. Little dots of red appeared but she quickly breathed in and out, calming down enough so the thorns receded and did not tear through the gauze.

"Um yea..." She breathed out as she took his hand and stood up, walking over to the lines with him. In line, she noticed sitting down at a crowded table were some others she recognized. The small fairy had always amused her and the sleepy one seemed like no trouble at all. She didn't know who the girl with the notebook was but she definitely knew who the last one was. Snow made sure to steer clear of that vampire. He seemed nice and friendly and popular and outgoing...and yea he most likely was all that... okay okay Snow knew he was all that. BUT he was a VAMPIRE. And her magic was literally making herself bleed. She didn't want to be used for her blood EVER again and that meant steering clear. Luckily she had never had a class with him and was hoping her lucky streak would continue.

Turning back to the food, Snow grabbed some fruit and vegetables and chicken. She also made sure there was lots of broccoli and dark chocolate on her place since those foods were high in iron and helped with her always low blood count. Looking at Ivan to see what he grabbed Snow asked, trying her best at conversation, "So who is it you know in Energy Manipulation? Maybe I've heard of them?"

Bree & Ace, 1st year.
Interacting:no one?

Bree had spent all her morning on the town of Cledonia, wasting time until she needed to be at the academy. Her sketch pad clutched to her chest and Ace hiding in a small pocket hidden beneath the white petal shaped flaps of her outfit. The duo had arrived to Cledonia only yesterday to see what the academy was like. Bree still had her doubts that she could learn anything new, but she was excited none the less. She had walked into the academy right on time, but had avoided any one who formed groups or attempted to socialize with her. Everyone she saw seemed older than her, though there were a few younger new years. Bree had chosen a table in the farthest corner of the room, it was small and no one had bothered her when she propped up her sketch book as a wall between other people and her. She retrieved her tiny friend from the hiding place and set her on the table so she could scope out the place. The two had whispered to each other, but otherwise didn’t draw attention until after the headmistress left the dining room.

Bree waited until the lines were small before pulling out her lunch and headed up to the lines for tea. Ace sat swinging her legs on Bree’s shoulder, watching the other students with a judgmental gaze. Her bow was nowhere to be seen, and she looked quite harmless without it. Not that Bree said anything about it, she didn’t need her companion any more upset with the academy situation. Bree grabbed her tea and got Ace blueberries since it was her favorite thing. She walked along the dining room length deciding on sitting a few tables away from a fairly large group. She didn’t want to sit with any one quite yet, but she didn’t want to sit alone. “I hate being tiny.” Bree looked down, seeing her familiar pouting, sitting by a handful of blueberries.

“You could shift, no one is going to attack us here.” Bree suggested, smiling at her friend, who glared back up at her. “You don’t know for sure Bree. I’ve heard whispers in the halls about students fighting each other last year or the year before. I need to be fully rested.” Ace scoffed, turning her attention to the table in front of them. “even the fairy looks taller than me. “ she whined. Bree chuckled. “Stop being negative Ace. Mother said I needed to be here and mother hasn’t been wrong before.” She stated, contuing to eat the jerky from her camp back home.

Ivan nodded several times when she mentioned being friends with the person he knew. “Much better.” He agreed, taking her hand and walking with her to the line. Once they reached it, he let it go, not wanting her to feel awkward or anything since he noticed hesitation when she had grabbed it. He followed her through the line until they neared the kitchen. Tamotsu watched her a bit nervously as she got her food. He knew not everyone shared his vegatarian nature, but he still felt a little upset when watching people get food. Not that he showed it. He grabbed a bunch of fruits & berries. (Basically fruit salad]. His sister had made him eat before he came back, so he wasn’t that hungry.

He walked back to the table and sat down, glancing up from the pile of fruit and listening as Snow spoke. He smiled. “It’s a secret. I’ll give you a few hints. Blue hair, like dark blue, and she wields a wand. She’s quite reserved, but she’s willing to talk to people if they approach her. If I’m right she’s in your first class to. “ he added that last part hesitantly, tugging his ear as he thought. (I made it small since ik classes are starting next and didn’t want to add to much.)

ANNOUNCEMENT: A loud popping noise could be heard throughout the school, despite not having speakers. Shortly after, Mr. Kenso's taut voice followed. "Every student is to report to their first elective. Tardies and skipping will be dealt with accordingly." The announcement ended with another pop, letting the students know they had roughly five to report to class, and tardiness wasn't accepted. Sayoko continued eating, occasionally stopping to watch as he twisted the apple. She didn't under stand why he was doing it, and merely shrug it off as the stem broke off. She wasn't sure how to feel with this boy in her two upcoming classes, biting her lip as she pondered what to say. Her eyes gave away nothing to her thoughts, even though she made sure not to make eye contact with the boy. Naoki didn't seem bad, but neither did a lot of people. People she trusted had once turned, whos to say if this complete stranger wasn't up to something. She wrote her thoughts off as paranoia, giving a 'guilty' smile. "I wasn't curious at all, just making a conversation to break the silence. Although it does seem that we will see eachother more than once to day." There was neither resentment or excitement in her voice. It didn't lack emotion, it just wasn't a strong one. She didn't give information about her courses, he would find out soon enough any way.

She tilted her head at the sound of Kenso's voice announcing it was time for classes, then she remembered Sparring was on the complete opposite side of the building. She took her now empty plate and started to get up, glad her dizziness had ended. She got up discarding her trash and putting the tray on the nearby table, looking to Naoki. "If you want to make it to sparring, you better start walking. " She said, already making way for the exit.

Gabe had taken a few bites of his food, glad he kept his fangs retracted cause of weird it would of been had he gotten something stuck on one. Never a pleasant feeling. He shook his head at Luca as and pushed away the his own plate. "I remember everyone I talk to, just not who was in what class. " and the fact he had probably forced the friendship on Lucas. The smell of the coffee was a but irritating, but he had lived with it. "And how is that considered coffee if you made it sweet beyond what's considered normal?" He joked, looking toward Thistle and Tempest. He noticed Tempest nod, but not say anything. Not that he blamed her, she didn't seem to really want to talk in the first place. Sighing he turned his attention to the small fairy with even weirder eating habits than Luca's coffee. He always wondered where she managed to store the food, or how she could eat so much sweets without getting sick. The thought of sweet made him want to gag.

He listened intently as she spoke, chuckling as her mood went from sad to excitement. "You eat to much sweets Thistle. " He joked. He wished he could be the same as her, happy memories with his family weren't available to him any more. he wouldn't dare step foot into his Aunt's place, but he had seen her and his sisters around town. He saw his remaining brother to, but they both agreed it was best not to talk. A loud popping noise sounded and he hear Kenso's voice/ someone is in a bad mood. He sighed. "If we wish no to spend free hour with Kenso, then we need to get moving." He sighed. Gabe looked forward to Kenso's classes, but he rathered liked his alone time.

Naoki "Oki": Year 2
The response she had given him wasn't one that he'd consider odd, no hint of urgency really... Koko seemed slightly unreadable in that moment. He looked to his apple once more, eyes narrowing slightly in thought. He had laid the base foundation, an introduction, the next logical step would be to build the supports. His drive to do such wasn't that great, despite his slightly underhanded goals in gaining a potential pawn. To spare him from destroying what he did have Mr. Kenso's voice entered and swept his mind to the limitations of time. He wasn't in a rush, however; five minutes would be plenty of time, even if he did arrive just before. So he bit into the top of the apple, the location where the stem used to be, became an entry point and practically disappeared. This wasn't the typical way one ate an apple, but truthfully the only part that should have been waste product, was the stem.

Upon swallowing he decided to respond to Sayoko, "I'll make it there on time. Best of luck in your course!" He said before lifting his free hand to his forehead. Index and middle finger stuck outwards while the rest of his fingers curled inwards. The black glove moved from his skull in quick succession, waving her off with a rather simplistic or possibly respectful way. Giving it a few moments he had allowed for her to make her exit, seeing as he'd done all the damage he needed to for the moment was more than enough to satisfy his conscious. Getting his face recognized by the girl had worked according to plan and as it was, he had acquainted himself with one of the infamous.

Ensuring she couldn't see him a hint of smugness crept to his face, a small smirk materializing. It was cut short as he took another bite into the apple with a satisfying crunch, bitter sweet. Rising from his seat rather elegantly he turned towards the trash bin, the gloved hand flicked the apples-stem. The small brown stick flew swiftly, coming to a stop as it hit the inner edge of the bin and fell back to join the rest of the collected garbage. By now he'd wasted a minute, and if he had timed it correctly, this was when he should take his leave. His apple had an appearance as though you'd cut it in half horizontally. The 'core' had been half-consumed as well if you considered it as such. Eyeing the other tables for a moment, he closed his eyes, they opened back up and his iris had changed in color. Both abandoned their blue, however the colors that replaced them were also an odd arrangement. One had taken on a deep chocolate brown, while the other retained a pink appearance, the pink was quite similar to cotton-candy in coloration.

The choice of these colors would remain unknown. Another bite of the apple ended his time in the dining hall and sent him walking into the hallway on his own. Taking a quick look around as not to disturb any of the other students. His apple had a single bite left to it, finishing it his journey to the sparring classroom would continue once more.

Tempest Wilkins

She had to admit, it was nice, not sitting alone during lunch. Even if she wasn't participating much in the conversation, it was nice to have some company. Thistle was a joy to watch, she wondered if she shared any classes with the fairy. She supposed she'd find out after her first elective, she knew Thistle wasn't in magical sparring but that didn't meant she wasn't in a different class Tempest had.
The teen paused in her eating as the announcement sounded, signaling the start of the academic school day. She scarfed down the rest of her burger, she hated going to class on an empty stomach. She couldn't concentrate when she was hungry, and she lacked the energy necessary to use her powers.
She also couldn't tolerate being late, with her burger gone she gather up her trash on her tray and stood.
Gabe was right, spending free period with Mr. Kenso was less than appealing.

"All the more reason to get going, right?", she flashed a small smile before taking her tray to the trash. She returned to the table to grab her things, clutching her book tightly she flashed the others another small smile.

"I suppose I'll see some of you in class...?", she waved, and hoped she didn't sound as nervous as she was before taking her leave. She didn't know what to expect from this class, to say she was nervous would be an understatement.
She hoped she didn't embaress herself...or worse, harm someone, her powers could be tempremental.
Much like the weather patterns they took after. Navigating the maze of students all fighting to get where they are going, Tempest headed to the sparring classroom, each step sent a new wave of butterflies through her stomach.

Lucas Marlows

Lucas chuckled softly at Gabe's explanation. "You're such a social butterfly it's no wonder you don't remember which class they were in." Lucas said as he took several sips of the coffee before picking around at his sandwich and nibbling on it a bit. He couldn't really relate to Gabe not knowing which class people were from. He didn't much talk to anyone unless they spoke to him first, as that means there's less chances of him screwing up, and a lot less people talking to him. His logic was strange, but the coffee was slowly beginning to wake him up, as well as the food. It really would've been quite bad had he gone to his elective half asleep. He would either end up hurting himself or someone else, and that was never good. Just the thought sent a small shiver down his spine.

He glanced down at the coffee when it was mentioned by Gabe, and when he tilted his head slightly his confusion couldn't have been made more obvious if a question mark was hovering above his head. "What do you mean? I didn't add that much stuff. Just enough to get me through next class." Lucas said before taking another sip. He would've said it was enough to get him through the day, but that would've been a lie. He wouldn't say he was addicted to it, but he definitely drank it a lot more than the average person. To the point where he'd get a headache if he didn't drink enough of it. It wasn't too sweet for him at least. He then listened with a small smile as Thistle talked about her mom with a large smile on her face. It made him happy to know that at least one person from this group had happy memories of their family that didn't go awry every time something finally went right.

He was quickly finishing the small sandwich he was eating when he had heard the loud popping sound, and he jumped in his seat, a small yell in the back of his throat. He managed to swallow it down before Mr. Kenso continued with his announcement. He quickly finished the last bite and gulped down the rest of the coffee, not caring that he burned his throat a little. He quickly stood up in his chair and waved back towards Tempest as she left.

Lania quickly shuffled through the paper work on her desk, containing all the information of the new students. She had already memorized the old ones, as it was quite easy with her photographic memory, but she hadn't quite gotten to reading about all her new students this year yet, despite them getting ready to walk in the door. "Let's see. It looks like I'll have quite the interesting bunch." She murmured to herself as she took a seat at her desk. She loved teaching students about their abilities, especially the newer ones. She had always loved seeing their progress as they got better and better, until they graduated from the academy. It left her with a sense of accomplishment that she would never be able to explain, and she was sure that the other felt the same way too. She was glad that main courses got skipped on the first day, as they were all boring classes, a lot of which wouldn't be needed out there in the world. Of course, she couldn't be saying that being a teacher and all that, but she could still think it. These children needed to learn how to survive and hide amongst the humans, if they so wished to leave Cledonia. Of course, math and science were important, but that wasn't going to help them survive out there. That's where she and the other teachers came in. Lania knew that she could be a little strict at times, but she was only trying to help them improve, as she saw talent and capability in each one of her students, even if they themselves didn't see it. "This should be fun." She murmured once more when she heard Kenso's voice, chuckling to herself. Kenso and his grumpy ways she thought with a small smile on her face, waiting for the classroom to start filling with students.

Snow looked up at him with wide eyes as he described Koko... the girl who... Snow blinked and flushed un attractively up her neck and cheeks. She looked away a bit, eating the broccoli and chocolate. "Oh well um... I guess if you are friends with her... well then I'm sure everything that happened last year must be a misunderstanding..." Snow jumped when the announcement came on and had never been so happy to go to class. Picking up her half eaten tray she looked at Ivan and smiled a bit. She hoped she hadn't just insulted him by being weary of his friend... but she couldn't hide her nerves. Still... "Well... I hope to um... See you sometime later? I liked talking if you liked talking then maybe we can talk some other time..." She stopped, grimaced a smile at him before turning on her heel sharply and rushing off to class. She did not want to be late to Mr. Kenso's class at all.

Arriving in the wide open sparring room, Snow quickly went to the side of the room against the wall and bent down to tighten her shoe laces and unwrap her bandages. No point in keeping them on if they were going to have to use their powers anyways, the fabric would just get shredded. Her arms were marred with what looked like tons of tiny chicken pocks scabs. Her legs as well. She tied her hair behind her in a pony tail and looked at the ground. She knew they would have to fight today but it still freaked her out... Mr. Kenso had usually ended up partnering with her when the class was uneven last year. She hoped it was uneven again this year as well. Not many of the students wanted to risk the possibility of being scratched by her thorns. Mr. Kenso had worn protective gear so her thorns could not penetrate his skin. Sure he was a grumpy hard ass who whopped her behind more times than any enemy out there probably would... but at least he didn't look at her like she was a gross scary weirdo.

Looking around at the people entering the classroom, Snow noticed the girl with the book from before. She shifted uncomfortably and hoped that didn't mean all of the girls friends would be joining her. She had made it a whole year so far without being in any class with the Vampire. She really didn't want to break that streak.

Thistle Kasten - The Fairy With a Sweet Tooth ( q r o w q r o w u k i y o u k i y o StarryKnights StarryKnights )

"You eat to much sweets Thistle." The little fairy pouted at him, then finished off the rest of her pie. She was often surprised she was able to eat her whole plate most days, but she knew there was never such a thing as too many sweets. Well, maybe- but Thistle hadn't reached that limit yet. In her opinion, at least.

She had only one slice of bacon left by the time that familiar popping sound rang through the school, followed by the voice of Mr. Kenso. "Awwwh..." she whined, quickly finishing off what remained on her plate. Thistle stretched for a moment before saying quickly, "Okaybuhbyeeee! Bye Gabby, Tempie, Lucky!" She hadn't noticed she'd gotten poor Lucas' name wrong, her mouth currently functioning faster than her mind.

She flew off, not going as fast as she had during the little breakfast 'race' she started earlier. She didn't want to run into anyone else, not within the same hour, anyways. Thistle was excited to go to classes again, mostly because she missed her teachers. The work she could do without, even though that was kind of the entire point of going to class.

The fairy managed to push her way through all the students, arriving at Ms. Lania's Spells and Runes class somehow without being late. There were already a few students strewn about the room, but there wasn't anyone she really knew. Well, she could put names to faces, but she wasn't close to anyone here. Thistle took a quick glance around the room, before her gaze settled on Ms. Lania, who was seated at her desk. "Ms. Lania~! Good morning!" she exclaimed in excitement, happy to be back.

Bree & Ace, 1st year.

Bree bickered with Ace as the tiny companion complained about the school, expressing her inner distaste of the unfamiliar place. She finished her meal and had already cleaned up before the bell rang, currently holding a piece of fabric and watching it shift from one shape to the next. She was careful to only use weaving and not activating tailoring by accident. Bree hadn't heard the announcement, only snapping out of trace as her companion kicked her. With a glare, Ace pointed toward the exit were everyone was filing out. Bree quickly grabbed her sketch book, putting the fabric between the pages and she put Ace on her shoulder as she made ways down the hall. Ace wasn't to thrilled as students bumped into Bree, almost knocking Ace off. After asking a few hurried and irritated students, they managed to find the correct classroom. Thankfully. The two found themselves next to the fairy and glance at the teacher now known as Ms. Lania. Bree gave a small wave, before turning back to Ace and setting her on the desk. It was a shame she couldn't fly, it made transportation a bit difficult, but they managed. Bree smiled sweetly and turned to the fairy which oh so grumpily pointed out during lunch. She didn't stare, but she also didn't know how to introduce herself either, she felt awkward since she didn't talk to anyone but her mother and Ace really. "H-hi. My name is B-Bree and this is Ace." She said shyly, trying to at least make one friend today.

Ivan/Tamo, 3rd year.

Ivan said nothing, even though he noticed that she knew who he was talking about and her reaction to it. It didn't bother him, he was use to people being a bit frighten or scoffing at his friend. Who wouldn't, she got into a fight her first year and manage to get two kids sent out the academy. Ivan use to tell people she was misunderstood, which was true, but he had given that up not long after he started. He just nodded, not adding anything to the conversation. The bell rang shortly after, and Kenso's voice made him flinch. He felt bad for everyone who dealt with his class. He waved farewell to Snow as she left, hoping they could talk during the free time/ dinner period. Clearing the table of his trash, before going out the doors with the flow of student traffic. Which was hard because he was trying to avoid hitting others with his antlers, but he also had to duck so he didn't smack into the door frame like his first year.

He quickly made his way to Ms. Lania's class, greeting old students along the way and helping the first years. He finally got to his class and only recognized a handful of second years in a group of first years. He opted to sit by himself today, worn out from the halls. "Good afternoon Ms. Lania. " Ivan said, giving a smile.

Staff Post
Teacher: Mr. Kenso, Current Class: Magic Sparring & Offensive Magic
Kenso was reviewing student files after lunch, carefully reading each ones power assessment they received upon entry. He already knew Gabe had good control on his ability, even though his use of it was very limited. He wasn't surprised to see Sayoko had finally got permission for his course. However as he scanned the rest he noted Snow would be in the same class as Gabe this year. He wondered how she would deal with that, although he knew Gabe wouldn't be affected. Lucas was a interesting person for his course, considering his power was most the time either sealed, out of control, or limited to the point Kenso asked why sign up sometimes. Tempest wasn't a bad student, she like many others just needed control. Finally the one he was truly worried about was a young boy by the name Naoki. Illusion magic was a interesting specialization when using offensively or during a fight. Checking the time, he slid the files back on his desk, reaching for the small device he used for announcements. Kenso actually wasn't in a bad mood, it was just his normal tone when speaking sometimes. He walked out of his office and into the sparring room, leaning aganist the door frame and counting students as they entered.

Once everyone was inside, he wanted to go ahead and get partners over with, since he decided before hand based off abilities. "Alright, before I have each one of you step forward to demonstrate your abilities, I'm splitting you into partners. So listen up." He sighed, looking a the group. "Gabriel" He paused looking directly at Snow. "and Snow." He turned to the rest of the class. "Lucas and Tempest." He turned to Sayoko, noting the fact she preferred not giving her real name. "KoKo and Naoki." It was easy to see why the pairings were the way they were. Snow's power sometimes dealt with blood, Gabe was okay with blood, and probably the only vampire Kenso knew that didn't go crazy at the smell or sight of it, he could also sense if she was near bleeding out and that was always helpful. Next he had put the two elementals together, and finally KoKo was a witch, her magic was spontaneous and could help counter mind tricks and hopefully keep the other boy on his toes. "Alright, first up to be a show off is.." He looked at the group of students. "Tempest." He stated, moving, and gesturing for her to stand in the center of the large room.
