Ashton nods her head. "Yeah..." She says and forces another smile as she looks back at them. "I'll see you guys... Later." She mumbles and quickly walks out of the building. She didn't dare say she'd see them tomorrow because she didn't know if she would. She'd probably pretend to be sick.

Nikoli watched Ashton go while he was being pulled by Leah. When she was gone he turned and looked down at Nemo and Leah. "I've obviously missed something?" He says, his wrist still in the hands of Leah, all his beaded bracelets probably making her grip a little uncomfortable.

Nemo looked at the ground and pulled his hood over his head. "You didn't miss anything." he mumbled. He didn't know what to say. He didn't fully understand what Reese was going to do. All he knew was that Reese had lost his sanity long ago. Reese was capable of doing anything to them. And his "friends" had given plenty of reason, to Reese anyways, to do whatever he pleased with them.

Leah managed to get them back right before the teacher got there, and brings her knees up to her chest as she shakes. "I have to go home." She whispers to herself very quietly, then pulls a pencil from her bag and starts scribbling nervously on the desk. "I can't do this." She repeats in the same hushed tone. "He's insane."

Nick was just confused the entire detention, and the second that it was over he stood up and left the classroom silently, waiting outside for Nemo and Leah. He didn't have a clue what was going on. He got that Reese was a dick but he didn't get why these two were so scared of him. But then again, he'd only been in this school a day and these guys had probably known him for a long time.

Argus walked to his vehicle, another day of high school finished, yay about a whole other semester to go through. I mean, geez. Freshman year was hard enough when he was a little minnow in a tank for the sharks, he thought the year would get better, nope. He hid his bruised lip by taking the collar of his shirt and pinning it in between his two chapped lips, he began getting into his truck.

Nemo walked out of the detention room, looking down the hallway. He looked back at Leah. "I'm sorry." he mumbled inaudibly under his breath. What now? he though. He started walking towards the exit of the school and stopped where Reese had attacked Ashton. He looked out the clear glass door and saw another kid getting into his truck. Couldn't be one of Reese's boys. He stared outside the glass door, waiting for Nikoli and Leah to catch up.

Nick walked behind Nemo. "So, in other news, it's the end of the day, I'm fucked, and I don't know where the general store is. Someone point me in the right direction?" He asks, trying to change the subject, and laughs slightly, looking at the guy getting into his truck for a moment, then back at Nemo and Leah.

Ashton walks to her car and quickly climbs into the drivers side. She lays her head on the steering wheel for a few moments before sitting up and starting the car. She pulls out of her parking space and begins to drive home, shaking a bit.

Leah had her arms crossed tightly around her as she shook, she wasn't cold, but she was scared. She had heard of what Reese was capable of, and she mentally slapped herself. "How could you start something with him, you're so stupid." She curses herself, then points down the road for Nikoli. "It's down that road a little ways. The store is called 'Tom's Super Prices'. Stupid name honestly." She says, giving off a nervous laugh and getting a bit closer to Nemo.

Nick nodded and checked his back pocket for his wallet, it was still there. He looks at Leah and Nemo before nodding his head at them. "You guys going to be okay?" He raised an eyebrow at them and pushed his hair out of his eyes.

 

[Snorlax]

Nemo nodded. "It's within walking distance. We can walk with you if you'd like?" he didn't look up from the ground as he offered this and waited for Nick's answer. He nodded. They would be okay. Nemo wasn't about to let Leah get hurt. Not by Reese. Not by anyone.


Reese's sweat poured down as he lifted his routine weights. All he could think about was how angry he was. He wasn't necessarily angry with the small red headed one. But he was angry with Neemo. And Neemo replaced Reese with that bitch. His heart started pounding and Reese put the weights up, calming down. This wasn't over. He smiled.

Nikoli nodded, "sure, I don't mind the company." The truth is that he didn't know this town well and directions were not his area of expertise, so everything Leah had said to him was already gone from his head, except the store name. 'Toms super prices?'. He smiled at them both as they started walking in the right direction, Nikoli following them more than anything.

"Yeah, stupid name, right?" She asks, a laugh coming from her mouth as she puts her arms to her side. She was feeling less scared, so she started skipping and doing twirls. "Don't judge me." She laughs, getting over her dizzy feeling and interlocking her arms with Nemo's.

 

[LupaBlackthrone]

Lupa found a seat in the back of the math room, keeping her head down while she scribbled things down in her notebook. Most of the notebook was ideas for stories she was writing, with notes about characters mixed in, but it also doubled as her agenda and note book for all her classes. The front was blue plastic with silver sharpie swirls across the front, and her name down at the bottom. She would die of embarrassment if someone took this notebook from her. It was like a diary, just worse. She glanced up from time to time as people walked in, most of them faded out of her mind's eye within moments, though.

Kay walked around, twirling her car keys on her finger. She had decided to skip the school day, and detention, because her mum had another panic attack.


She saw Leah, Nemo and nick walking and dancing and grinned.


"Hey guys! How was detention?" She asked, jogging up to them.

 

[Snorlax]

Nemo nodded and looked back down at the ground. He didn't like to make eye contact. He felt that if he did, all he would see is judgement in their eyes. He kept walking towards the store, leading the way for Nikoli.

Nick grinned when he saw Kay and waved at her slightly. "Detention was as detention will be." He winked and looked down at the time on his phone. Late, he'd need to be home real soon before his mom started to worry. They got to the store soon enough and he thanked Nemo. "You guys don't have to hang around now, I don't want to waste your day." He smiled and waved goodbye at them before walking into the store and purchasing the things he needed using his shopping list as guidance.

Leah watches as Nick walks into the store, then she looks at Nemo and Kay. "So? Are we going to the park, or what?" She asks, shrugging as she takes her hair down from her ponytail and shakes it out, leaving it messy. Just the way she liked it.

"Park sounds good." Kay nodded at Leah.


"Ah, we're not wasting our time, Nick. It's fun." She grinned, looping her arm through his.


(Alright. I'll be back in an hour. I have a physics test.)

Nemo looked around. "Yea." he said, nodding and watching as Leah took her hair down. He looked at Kay, not directly, but in her direction. He was waiting to see if she was going to join them. And surely enough she agreed that the park sounded fun. Nemo pulled Leah in the direction of the park. "Let's go." he whispered.

(Good luck on your test!!) Nick paid for his items and walked out of the store. By the time he had they were gone, and he put his items in his bag and put it over his shoulder. He walked home silently, some of the kids from his school passing him and looking at him funnily. He walked to the edge of the town and down a large hill surrounded by trees, to his trailer. He opened the door and the smell of burning incense and cheap perfume greeted him. Home. (I'm going to sleep!! English time zones suck gnight y'all!)

Argus looked through the passenger window and saw a male staring at him, he hadn't talked much to people, he might as well. He decided to engage with the male that was staring at him.
