Realistic or Modern Cleartown High

Leah smiles when they reach the park, and she automatically ran towards the swings. There were literally no other people there. "Strange." She said, normally after school there would be tons of children running around. She shrugged, then started swinging happily, humming along to her favorite song, Alone Together by Fall Out Boy.

((Hey @Turbinail they left the school a while ago.. Your character can go to the park? Sorry this RP is moving very fast.))

Lupa wandered into the gym, her schedule in hand. She glanced around, noticing the boy from earlier, whom she'd acted rather rudely towards. She blushed pink at the thought of her behavior, it had been terribly rude of her, though, she remembered with some relief, he hadn't actually seemed all too interested in her once Ashton came along and got his attention. 'But...I should still apologize.' she told herself, hesitantly stepping in Reese's direction. "Um...hi?" she asked, grimacing quickly when she heard the tremble in her voice. 'Don't be a wuss.' she told herself, forcing her shoulders back and her gaze up from the floor boards.

Reese looked at Lupa as he wiped sweat form his forehead. "Lupa." he nodded in greeting. He was breathing heavily, much like someone who had just been working out would be. What did she want? Why was she still even here. Surely a nice girl like her didn't have detention. "What are you doing in here?" he asked, his voice hard. He grabbed another weight and started lifting again. His body was toned and had the right amount of muscles on them. He looked healthy, and great in general. He looked back up at Lupa, waiting for his answer.

Nemo laughs and starts to push Leah higher. There weren't really anybody else around. It was kind of nice.

He had driven to the park, hearing that everyone had decided to go there. He saw some people he had seen earlier in the school day and decided to meet up with them. "Oh, hey guys. I'm Argus, I saw you guys earlier, but didn't really talk to y'all." He said, now walking backwards to keep up with their pace.

Lupa blushed, "I can't believe you remembered my name." she said. "Well, I kinda got lost." she replied to his question, dropping her gaze again. "What're you still doing here?" she asked. "I don't mean to pry! I just...you seem like the kind of guy to get out as soon as possible. The kind that squishes us smaller people in your rush to get out." she scrambled to make her words seem less nosy, and only succeeded in making herself blush even more.

"Hi!" Leah greeted the boy as she was being pushed by Nemo. "I'm Leah, and this is Nemo." She says happily, feeling the wind rush through her hair as she closes her eyes and laughs. "It's so beautiful, the wind, isn't it?" She asks nobody in particular. She had had a long day, and it was time for her to let loose.

Reese smiled. "Yea, of course I'd remember the name to a pretty face like yours." He stops lifting the weight and stands up to his full height. He was 5'9" and could be rather intimidating. "And I just finished with football practice. Coach lets us use the gym any time we want and well," he stopped, watching Lupa blush. "I have some things that need a little muscle to be done." He smiles sadistically and then continues to wipe the sweat from his body. He smiled and pushed a strand of Lupa's hair behind her ear. "How about I show you around here in a little bit? After I shower of course?" he asks, pulling his hand away from her. Reese may be insane, but he was still human. And Lupa was still a girl.

Nemo nods to Argus in 'hello' and watched for his answer about Leah's question. He was glad she was relaxing. It made Nemo feel better about the situation. He almost felt as if Reese would drop the whole thing and move on. But in th eback of his mind, Nemo knew that was impossible.

Lupa adopted her 'deer in the headlights' expression, eyes wide, lips parted just slightly, looking up at him. "Uh...s-sure." she stammered, "I-I mean, you don't have to show me around. I could just ask one of the teachers, I'm sure they're still grading work." she added, in case he was just asking because it was common courtesy. "I'd be really thankful, if you did, though." she mumbled this last bit, looking away.

He laughed. "It would be my pleasure. And afterwards, I can show you around town." he winked and grabbed his towel, heading towards the shower room. "I'll be out in a few." he called back to her. After reaching the shower room, he stared into the mirror, smiling. This was all going great. He turned the shower on and slid his shorts off, walking into the shower and letting the water wash the sweat off of him. After finishing up with soap and towel drying quickly, he slid some clean shorts and a black tank top that immediately got slightly wet due to the shower. He walked back out into the gym and smiled. "All clean!" he yelled in delight.

Lupa wasn't so sure if the comment about showing her around town was supposed to be taken as an innuendo, so she erred on the side of caution and assumed he meant it in the most innocent way possible, she smiled "Thanks." she said softly, ducking out of the way. When he returned, announcing his presence, she gave a startled jump, tripping over her bag and landing on the floor. "Ow." she hissed, trying to recover herself. "Over here!" she called out, getting to her feet and grabbing her bag. 'Hopefully he didn't see that show of how clumsy I am.' she thought.

He smiled and made his way to her. "Would you like me to carry your things?" he asked, holding out his hand. "There isn't much around here at the school. So this won't take long at all." he slid his arm over her shoulder and bagn walking. "This way," he declared. "By the way," he whispered in her ear. "I find clumsiness to rather adorable."

Lupa turned scarlet, holding her bag close to her chest. "I'm sure there's a witty reply to that somewhere. I don't have it." she replied. "So, um, your girlfriend won't mind you doing this? Or boyfriend? If you swing that way? Showing me around, I mean. Not the whole..." she cleared her throat. "I'll shut up now."

((Aw, surely not.))

Reese smiled. "Nah, they don't mind, because I don't have any. In any way." he smiled. "How about your boyfriend? Or girlfriend?" he asked, pulling the same stunt on her. He opened the doors to the gym to leave and turned. "Obviously, that was the gym."

Nemo, pushing Leah, laughed as he swung her higher. He felt so great right now. He forgot all about his depression, about Reese, and just everything in general.

Lupa laughed "I haven't had a boyfriend since I was a sixth grader." she said, looking behind them at the gym, memorizing landmarks to give her some clues. "I would never has suspected those doors for the gym." she commented, looking a bit brooding for a minute.

Reese laughed and started towards the math hall. "Here's the mall hall. Where all your basic mathematical needs can be found." He moved on and the tour went smoothly. "So how about that?" he asked. "How did you like your first day of school?"

Kayleigh smiled at Nemo and Leah. She hadn't seen Nemo smile and enjoy like this, and it made her happy to see him smile. She guessed that he was socially awkward, because he reminded her of her brother who had anxiety disorder.

She sat down on a nearby swing and began pumping her legs back and forth.

Without warning, Leah let go, and went flying in the air. She spread her arms out like wings as the world around her seemed to slow down. She yells out in pleasure as she feels the wind flying through her body, she then rolls as she notices herself getting closer to the ground and she flops down, her ribs moving up and down fast and her heart beating rapidly.

Lupa nodded "It was...a...test of my mental fortitude and patience." she said, zipping up her jacket. "What're you going to do to Ashton?" she asked suddenly, looking up at him with curious blue eyes. "I get the feeling people that cross you come out of it worse for wear, which...is admirable, at the least, and terrifying for someone like me, who has a tendency to anger others without meaning to. What will you do to her, or the other girl that decided to stand up to you? Would you do the same to a boy that did that?" she asked, pulling a pen and her notebook out of her bag, flipping it to a clean page, and looking up at him expectantly. "You don't have to answer, but I'd be grateful if you did."

Nemo ran over to Leah as fast as he could. "Are you okay?!" he demanded. "I didn't- why didn't you let me know you were going to do that?!" He helped Leah up and hugged her tight. "Are you okay?" he asked again, his voice a little calmer.

Reese stops. "You know, guys don't tend to stand up to me as much as the stupid little girls around here." His voice was vile as he said this. He looked at Lupa. And girls who ask questions too much, might just get the same treatment. "They disrespected me. Out in the open, challenging my rank. This school is like a wolf pack. A large wolf pack, but one nonetheless. I am the alpha. And I always come out on top." He had brought Lupa to his car by the time he finished. He opened the passenger door and motioned for Lupa to get in. "Look, I'm not going to hurt the two of them," he lied. Oh he was going to hurt them alright.

Leah hugs him back, feeling safe in his arms. "I'm fine." She says, though it was muffled. She then lets go of the hug and smiles at him. "It was fun, Mo. I knew you'd protest, so I just.. Did it." She says, shrugging it off as if it was nothing. She then notices that she wasn't even that far from the swings. "Stop freaking out." She says, nudging him playfully with her elbow, then getting back on the swing.

Nemo nodded. He was just so protective of Leah. She was like a sister to him. He loved her, and he didn't even want her to have a scraped knee. He smiled, revealing his braces, which honestly, made his smile even cuter. But he would never admit that. "Well, what do you want to do now?" he asked her.

"No idea." She says then lays down on the grass as she gazed up at the sky. "Lets just lay here for a while." She pulls some grass from the ground and played with it in her hands, taking in the smell of fresh air.

Lupa looked at her notebook, jotting down a paraphrased version of that. "Okay, thanks! I should explain, I'm a writer, and I kind of wanted to see what you'd say. I'm always looking for a more..." she trailed off, glancing at the car and then sliding in, "inspiration." she decided, looking up at him. She smiled slightly "Though, you might want to drop the venomous tone. It rather kills the 'I'm not going to hurt them' sentence." she added. "And it makes me a bit scared to get in your car." she mumbled, blushing.

Nemo smiled and laid beside Leah. "This feels nice." He whispered quietly. He stared up at the sky. It was so blue, the white, fluffy clouds rolling by.

Reese laughed. "Yea, sorry. I'm just still a little upset and how they treated me during breakfast." He shrugged. "What's so inspirational about me?" He asked as he slid into the drivers seat, starting the car and backing up out if the parking lot.
