Realistic or Modern Cirque de Monstres

Freyja's eyes widened and she hovered higher, "Whoa now Kori calm down..im sure it just got out. And im sure there are other animals for you to chase after." She noticed how she acted with Cyke and she felt a buzz go through her body that felt like electricity through her wings as it started to drizzle. "Shit" She whispered to herself.
(I shall return shortly please dont go to far withouts me QQ)

On his way to the tent Ignis caught wind of the foul mood in the air. It caused him to loose focus and many of the birds reverted back into cards. "Well well....looks like somebody is a ball of sunshine this morning." His voice was near monotone as he approached the group. Almost matching the dull drizzle that had begun to fall. "What seems to be the problem this morning cher?"

Kori

Kori, who was previously just frustrated, was now becoming very wet. “What. The. Hell!” She whined, stomping her foot like a child with a tantrum. Which was a pretty accurate description of how she was acting.

“It couldn’t have just escaped. I had it… very secured,” she complained. “Ignis, someone has INFILTRATED my trailer!”

Samantha

A drop of rain caused Sam to look up sharply from her list. “Drat!” She exclaimed, not giving the Rainicorns much a chance to respond. “Do excuse me, my lovely buttercups.” She said in farewell, adding a bow and quickly running back to the main tent for coverage.

Paul stopped dead in his tracks and looked back.

"No it was not me!"

He noticed the rain starting. He didn't like the rain. He walked away from the group again.

"Don't like the rain, see you later."

He walked back to his trailer slamming the door shut behind him. He wondered why someone was going through another performers room without permission, especially stealing something. He made a note to tell the Mistress when he saw her next.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nora didn't now what lunch was but, she understood Kori. She would be pissed to if someone had gone through her room without asking.

"Look, it wasn't us okay! Just catch something else. I'm sure the culprit will be revealed soon."

Whoever it was must not know how pissed Kori gets about these things. She felt the rain hitting her.

"No, well, hopefully it dumps its load now and clears out by the evening."

She knew Danu didn't like the rain. She smiled at the others.

"I should get Danu inside."

She walked off to her trailer. She put Danu in her room and grabbed a jacket. She needed to check on Anubis. She pulled the hood up on her jacket as she made her way to the small tent.

"That's a shame to hear..." He looked at her with a slight pout. "It is not polite to go through others trailers and take their....lunch away. Especially from a lovely lady such as yourself. But! There is no need to make such a fuss." He rolled up his sleeves. "I promise you that the culprit will be found." He bowed politely and removed his top hat. Revealing a scruffy brown rabbit straight from the forest. "And a replacement made." His smile was wide and bright. It was a cheesy act, but better than having a fellow performer in a foul mood.

'Not me,' Cyke said, before shrugging and causing his wings to move up and down in motion with his shoulders. It was strange though, that someone would go in release Lunch, whether they were doing it with intention or not. But if it were with intention, why? Cyke was most certain he was looking too deeply into this, but he wasn't bothered by it.

'And I do think that infiltrated is a bit of overstatement, my dear,' Cyke added, before leaping up into the air and removing his wings from view. Instead of even using his wings, Cyke began to hover in the air, rolling around and grinning creepily as he did so. It was very bizarre. 'If it makes you feel any better Kori, I will look for you. And it might be nicer to say "hello" next time,' Cyke grinned, teasing her, before floating off and casting an odd look at the brown rabbit Ignis had produced.

Samantha

Samantha jogged her way back to the Main Tent, her short blond hair ruffling in the wind. Although it was only drizzling, already the circus grounds were getting a bit muddy. She stopped for a moment, turning her hazel eyes upwards. The cloud had finally reached them, and had settled itself just above the circus. At least it’s just a small one, she thought, confident that the rain wouldn’t last anything more than an hour at most.

Finally at her destination she noticed a familiar figure approaching, “Helllooooo Alekin!” She waved to him with gusto, still clutching her clipboard, and made her way inside tent.

Kori

Kori’s face reddened, and she nearly swooned with delight. She squealed at the sight of the fluffy and utmost delicious looking rabbit Ignis had seemingly conjured from the forest. She grabbed it quickly with both hands.

“Is it real, though?” She asked with a smile. It certainly smelled real, but Ignis was a master of illusion, after all.

“And do forgive me, Cyke,” she implored, turning her attentions towards him. “And thank you, I would very much appreciate it!” She added as he took off. Kori smirked at the small creature in her hands, her mood now sated due to the attention paid by the men around her. She shot Freyja a smug look.

Freyja also in the air watched Cyke float around without his wings, though she knew they were still there. While at the time hers were starting to get wet and drag her down. "Dammit..your lucky Cyke. Its easy for you to fly with wet wings." Her hair started to stick to her face and she pursed her lips as she moved it from her face. The buzzing from her wings sounding much different now that they were damp.

She watched as Ignis produced a rabbit. She let out a slight smile as she lightly jogged to the small tent. As she stepped inside she saw a group of workers around Anubis's tank.

"Step away from the tank please."

they stepped away and went and worked on other things. She looked at Anubis, he was still in a trance. She wondered what was wrong with him. What she needed was help and she knew who to ask. She walked out of the tent and approached Paul's trailer she knocked on the door.

"Paul, I need to talk to you! It seems my charm won't wear off of Anubis. What did I do wrong?"

She was still working the kinks out of her succubus powers and the only one who can help her is Paul.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paul heard Nora's question.

"Still working the kinks out?"

He walked up and opened the door.

"Did anyone you happen to have a crush on say anything to you that made you feel mixed?"

He remembered when he learned about this.

"Because if you did your power is unstable and it will take a little longer to wear off."

He shut the door before she could respond hoping he had answered her question.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nora remembered what happened earlier with Samantha. She spoke to the closed door.

"Thank you Paul."

She walked back to the small tent to keep an eye on Anubis.

"Greetings Samantha." Alekin said, with an elegant bow. "So, what's the rush? Are you going to practice your act?" Alekin asked, keeping up with her. "I have a important question to ask." Alekin said, holding her shoulders and looking her in the eyes. "Do you have any gossips for today?" Alekin asked, his expression made it hard to tell if he was serious or not.

He couldn't help but chuckle at the happy reaction. "I assure you that it is real. Maybe not the color of it, but the animal is as real as it can get." It was a small sacrifice on his own part. That rabbit was one of the animals used in his shows, but as long as it appeased her he could do without. That and the little monster had bitten him hundreds of times and left the last few pages of his favorite book in ruins.

Samantha & Atl

Samantha nearly shuddered with delight. She LIVED for gossip. Now inside the tent she pulled her friend closer, wrapping an arm around his shoulder. “Well,” she began, with a face of child-like excitement, “I do believe I overhead something just now about someone stealing Kori’s lunch on my way here.” She couldn’t help but to snicker. Kori was a bit… immature, and wasn’t exactly known for her good deeds and kind attitude.

She turned a bit as she heard a snort behind her. “Was the skunk not enough then?” Atl questioned quietly to himself. He hadn’t really meant to be heard, but Samantha and her partner in crime weren’t exactly being quiet, and he was only a couple of feet away.

What-was-that?” Sam was at his side in an instant, motioning Alekin to follow her in pursuit of the latest news. “What’s this about a skunk?” Her eyes glimmered in the tent's low lighting, making the Reaper a bit uneasy.

He wasn’t really much for talking, never mind gossiping. But he had made a mistake and he knew the Mermaid would not let him go until she had heard what had taken place. Sighing, he sat up from his chair and slowly lit a cigarette. Sam was nearly dying with anticipation before he begun.

“I awoke this morning to find Kori enjoying a skunk she had found, in the trash can, for breakfast.” He stated matter-of-factly, quickly seating himself again.

“What?!” Sam gasped, “From the rubbish? Did you hear that Alekin, from the rubbish! How undignified!” She gaped, clutching her friend's arm tightly.

"Well, even though she caught it alive, skunks are still disgusting." Alekin said, agreeing with Samantha. "Have you practiced for the show tonight?" He asked, Samantha still clutching his arm. He grinned affectionately at Samantha, he then made a rose from ice and handed it to her. "What's up with this rain anyway?" He said, changing the topic.

Kori

Kori beamed again, giving Ignis her best smile. “I shall name him Delicious,” She held it more tightly, bringing the rabbit to eye level. She noted it’s twitching nose, and black watery eyes. “Because he will be,” she added in a dark voice.

Smirking, she thanked Ignis once again and strode off to rid herself the annoyance of the constant drizzle, and to cage her new-found lunch. If Cyke finds Lunch for me, she mused, I might have to re-name him Dinner…

Nora watched as Anubis slowly fell out of the trance. He hissed at her and went back under his log.

"There you are Anubis."

She smiled at the cobra as she stood up and decided to let some nerves off by talking to the very thing that left her mixed. She walked over to main tent, she pulled her hood down on her jacket as she walked in. She smiled at Alekin's question

"Welcome to Scotland Alekin, if its not raining its so foggy you can't see your hand."

She walked over to the group.

Samantha

Sam, having lived most her life catching live prey wasn’t disturbed by the object of Kori’s breakfast, but merely from whence it came from. She shook her head, her hair still a bit tussled from the wind, and accepted the rose with a laugh.

“Ahh, I do still have to practice my lines a bit. But my, my, Alekin! You simply can’t have the heart of every damsel you know! You've wooed me, surely,” she smiled, reaching up to pinch his cheek in a playful manner.

She turned as Nora walked in, “Ah hello my dearest flower. What brings you to the main tent?”

"You enjoy that now." He laughed as she strode off. Then looked up at the sky with a frown. The little droplets felt like pinpricks hitting his face. "Couldn't hold off until after the first day could you?" His voice was laced with sarcasm as he lit up another cigarette. Blowing the smoke up towards the gloomy grey clouds as his eyelids began to droop. He was so tired.....but now was not the time for sleep. Not when there was still so much to be done. With a heavy sigh he lifted up his hat and ran a hand through his messy hair as he moved towards the large tent.

"I know, I have been to Scotland before." Alekin replied to Nora. "I'm just worried that people might not come to the circus if it started raining."

Alekin said. "But if ever it did rain, I can just cover the whole circus in a dome of ice to prevent the rain from ruining the show." Then he turned to look at Samantha. "I just noticed, you give everyone nicknames, but not me. Why is that?" He asked, grinning

"Bored mainly, already rehearsed my new talent and my act."

She looked at Samantha.

"Decided to see what you guys were up too."

She wasn't going to say her real reason for coming in. That wasn't Nora, she didn't walk up to someone and confess that fact that she has a crush on them. She looked at Alekin

"Oh people will come they always do."

Samantha

Feigning offense, Samantha placed her right hand upon her chest. “Why Alekin, my handsome heart-throb, had I known you were so inclined to jealously, I certainly would have paid you more attention! But surely, you must realize it is your own fault, for always quickly trapping me in such tantalizing conversation!” Samantha chuckled, her dimples clearly in view.

She slipped a quick wink at Nora, and batted her eyelids to Alekin, teasing him further. “Oh we were just sharing the latest gossip, do you have anything to include?” She eyed the snake charmer hopefully.

Behind her she noticed Atl had somehow fallen asleep in his chair, a cigarette still lit between his fingers.

She felt her cheeks get warm as Samantha winked at her.She raised an eyebrow at the question.

"Gossip, well I'm sure you all know about Kori's exciting morning."

She pondered on the thought.

"Well I am afraid that is all I know, sorry."

She was not going to mention the whole Anubis trance thing. Some people were still uncomfortable that she could hex them and make them fall for her. She didn't like it either, it still made her slightly uncomfortable. She gave a shrug, she really didn't know anything else. Nothing had really happened since the morning was still young.

Kori

Kori grinned, her fangs dangerously sharp. Back in her original form yet again, she held her newly-gifted rabbit, Delicious, with her tail. It squirmed, increasing her delight, and she had to withstand the urge not to coil around it’s tiny body and squeeze it to death.

With a dark giggle, she placed the creature in her laundry-basket prison.

“Welcome home, Delicious. Don’t get too used to things,” she smirked.

Samantha

The Mermaid quickly frowned, noting Nora’s slight change of color. “Are you feeling well,” she asked, quickly placing her hand on the Half-Demon’s forehead. “It would be most untoward if you were gain an illness due to the downpour.”

Sam quickly whipped her head around, concern on her face. “Alekin, fetch a chair for Nora, would you, I don’t think she’s feeling quite herself.”

Nora immediately felt nervous as Samantha touched her forehead. She knew she her face had to red and her heart was racing.

"No I'm fine it's just,......it's.....I have to go......"

She was feeling really awkward and she didn't know what to do.She quickly picked up her skirt and bolted out of the tent. She ran to her trailer quickly opening the door and shutting it behind her. She crashed on her bed and looked at Danu.

"Why can't I say it to her argh!!"

She decided to stay there until she calmed down. She wasn't one for words , she never was. She just wished feelings of love didn't make her act all weird.

"Why thank you, my dearest Sammy." He said, using the nickname to tease her. He was about to go get a chair for Nora when she left, her face really red. "Well that was strange." Alekin said, looking at Samantha. "Maybe she got jealous of me, hogging your attention." Alekin said, chuckling.

Samantha

Sam stared at the tent opening for just a moment before turning back to her friend. She was concerned, but she had to admit she was also slightly amused. She couldn't remember Nora ever having acted quite that way before. I might just have to ask Paul to check on her later, she concluded.

Playfully giving Alekin a slap on the arm, she gave a hearty chuckle. "Oh, you are too much, really, Alekin!"

She turned her attention on the whole of the tent. "Well, since we're here, We might as well rehearse... that is unless you have some gossip to share," she added mischievously.
