Chosen To Change (Sweet Revenge X ibepeyton)

Adriel gave him a full on smile then, showing her white teeth. "Even in these four days... I've felt stronger about you than I ever did for Peter," She told him honestly. She had opened the door all the way now exposing her tiny figure.

Their eyes met for a silent moment before Afriel opened her arms to beckon Devon to her, "I've never felt like this about anyone. You're the only one I've given all of myself too," She told him, her cheeks heated quickly, "Over and over again for that matter.." She murmured and looked away shyly.

Devon gently walked up to her and returned the embrace, still chest naked. " These 4 days have been great, but I can't help but imagine what 2 years with you would be like..." The man said. "You seemed to enjoy it yourself. Am I doing something wrong?" He teased her before kissing the top of her head. "If anything, I've never felt this way about anyone, but you already know that. With our conversation this morning and all." Devon shrugged. "Any plans for the day?" he asked, arcing an eyebrow up.

Afriel shook her head, "Of course you're not doing anything wrong," she gave a wink jokingly and then pulled back from Devon to look up at him, "I didn't have any plans really," Afriel told him, "it's nice, so I was thinking of going to the beach!" She said, "I need to buy a swimsuit first though..." She thought out loud, wrinkling slightly. She leaned forward and kissed him gently before turning an walking back into her room. See slipped off the robe exposing her naked body and started going through her drawers.

Devon's complexion twisted to a side. "Shorts... I never look good in shorts... I'll go to the beach if you come to a snow-covered land." He suggested with a brighter smile. The man wondered if she would go for the idea or not. The main idea was going to his zone of comfort, winter-lands being some of his favorite. And now that he had an increasing control over weather, he only yearned to try it in winter weather. He shortly followed her in, becoming more comfortable seeing her naked as they passed time together, to grab his shirt. "Right... My car is at my place... Fffff." Devon sighed as he put his shirt on.

Afriel giggled softly, "You know, you never asked me if I drive.." She said and grinned over at him just before putting a bra on and then a shirt over that. "In fact, my poor car has been neglected," She said shaking her head as though that were the worst thing she could ever do.

"Also, I love the snow, so I'd gladly go with you," She said and smiled at him hopping into a pair of jean shorts.

Devon shrugged. "I'm sorry. I just really like my car and I like driving it around." He replied with a soft chuckle. "You seemed to handle him pretty well, so I'd guess you'd have your own ride. I'm actually curious to know what car you have." The man admitted. He leaned against the door frame as she finished getting dressed and followed her into the kitchen to grab the few things they needed around the apartment. For Devon, it was his his coat, wallet, cellphone, cigarettes and lighter.

Afriel frowned slightly, "Trust me it's not nearly as nice as your car," She said in a slightly embarrassed tone. "The Volkswagen Beetle out front, the yellow one is mine," She said as she grabbed some stuff they coul eat for lunch including some of the junk food they'd bought at the corner store.

"It's not the hottest ride out there," She said slipping on a coat and heading for the door.

Devon simply shrugged. Great, a european. If that things breaks, it's gonna be a bother to fix. he sighed internally. "It's fine. It's a classic." he shrugged once more. Devon followed her through the door and down to the car. The weather was indeed nice, a breeze lofting around that seemed to bring the fresh air after all the rain and storms.

When they were in the car Afriel started it and pulled from the parking lot. They were down the road in seconds and Afriel rolled the windows down causing her blonde hair to fly around the cab of the car. She pulled into the lot of a clothing store and got out. "Wanna help me swimsuit shop? We can get you something too!" She said and smiled at him before shutting her door.

"S-sure." The man shrugged awkwardly. Something about summer wear that seemed to bother Devon a little. The man didn't say a word about it and simply followed Afriel wherever she went. "I'm your bodyguard. Even if I didn't want, it's my job to escort and protect you wherever you go." The man bowed to her jokingly.

((I might post a little more afterwards, but I will be gone for AT LEAST the week-end, maybe more if my payment didn't pass XP))

((Aw, okay))

"Well, just because you're my bodyguard doesn't mean that you have to pick out something for yourself," Afriel pointed out as they entered the store. Tons of high end looking clothes lined the racks and dressed the mannequins. "I'm not sure if I want a two piece or a one piece," Afriel thought out loud, looking around the store.

"What do you think?" She asked him, turning to look up at him with a quizzical look.

((AAAND I RETURRN! *Confetti pops lamely around* The least I can do is write a reasonable post for starts))

"Well... I don't have bathing wear myself. I'm not really one that enjoys warm weather Rain usually puts a damper of heat." He sighed as he tugged the thick coat draped on his shoulders. The thing was probably awfully warm for the weather, But it suited him well enough that he simply wears that coat around, whatever the weather. The white furs from the hood collar really made his blue eyes and blond hair stand out above the rest of his features. "But it's my sworn duty not to let you out of my sight. Who knows what could be lurking in the water." Devon said with an obviously faked spooky voice, wiggling curved fingers towards her teasingly. The man looked around a little awkwardly, his rough edge definitely standing out among fancy clothes.

When asked about what swimsuit to wear, Devon looked at her. "Well, I'd pick the 2-piece, but that might just be because I'm a man. Plus, it would attract more trouble than I'd rather at the beach. Not like the one-piece is gonna change that either." The man analyzed out loud. He moved closer to her, wrapping his around her waist. "All depends if you would like to feel my arms around you when I save you?" He whispered in her ear with low seductive rumble to his voice before taking a step back. "Then again, that also means that others would be able to touch your skin as well, including those who would try to kidnap you." He joked with a smirk

(( Awwww yayyyyy!))

Afriel laughed at him, "You're so out of your comfort zone," She pointed out, though it was clear he knew that already. Smiling up at him she turned and started toward a section labeled "Womens Swimwear" when she got there she grabbed a bright grin two piece, as well as a white one and sky blue one. In addition she grabbed the same colors in one pieces. All of them were like the swimsuits worn in the fifties.

"I think I just might like the boys touching my skin!" Afriel teased him, before stepping into the dressing room. When she stepped out she was in the sky blue two piece and looked just like a pin-up girl just lacking the red lips stick and hair tied up with a bandana. "What do you think?" She asked twirling where she stood.

A couple was doing the same thing they were and the man's jaw dropped when he looked at Afriel. This caused his girlfriend (or whom ever) or become angry and shove him by the shoulder. But as this happened Afriel only looked at Devon waiting excitedly for his response.

Devon sat back in a chair and waited for her to change, brushing off her tease with a smile with a chuckle. When she stepped out his, blue gaze began from her feet up. He raised his eyebrows with a small whistle. "You're definitely a treat for the eye. What am I supposed to bring for other men to know when to back off? You know I'm selfish that way." Devon asked her with a smile.

"You like dressing with old fashions, don't you?" He commented a with a smirk. "Except for that corset thing, I'm sure you hated the thing." the man added.

((I was rather tired last night XP The week-end took it's toll on me, that it certainly did))

Afriel smiled and blushed slightly, "We can buy a bat on the way for you to beat boys off with," She joked and then looked herself over. The swimsuit did look like something that somebody in the fifties might wear. "I guess I do. I mean if I would have got it off I might of liked it, but that stupid thing wouldn't budge," She said and shook her head.

"Anyway, I have this one or a white one, I don't like the green one," She said and shrugged, "Which one should I pick?" She tilted her head waiting for an answer.

"You look good whatever you wear, sweetie. You are literally asking me to pick between my 2 favorite colors. But if I'd have to really give you an answer... I'd go with the white one simply because white compliments, while blue contrasts." Devon was mainly referring to her eyes, being a golden color. "Just going along color principles. Go with the one you personally feel more comfortable with, love. You know you don't need those to make me crazy over you." He winked to her teasingly, accompanied with a smirk.

Afriel blushed more before smiling at him, "White it is," She said and turned to walk back into the dressing room. When she was changed she came back out, "Your turn!" She announced looking Devon up and down. "I'd like to see you in a speedo," She teased with a laugh.

The flicker of dread crossed his face when she announced it was his turn. "No. Speedos." He replied coldly. "I think I'll go with scuba gear or something..." Devon looked away. "People tend to judge quickly against people riddled of battle scars. I don't exactly look like the average good guy." the man explained with a shrug. "If anything, it gets unwanted attention." he added

Afriel frowned and walked up to him, taking his hands in her own, "Devon...I think you're handsome....every scar makes you who you are. I wouldn't change you for anything in the world," Her voice was soft and sweet as she spoke to him. "All that matters is us, and how we see each other not the others on the beach," She squeezed his hands and gave him a sweet comforting smile.

After a few moments, the man sighed. "I know. However, the whole world does't need to see those. I am who I am for you, no one else." Devon told her. "What wouldn't I do for you?" He added as he shook his head from side to side before heading towards the men's swimwear. Even in the men's section, the clash between appearances seemed like winter and summer. The man looked awkward as he looked through the clothes. "I wonder if swimming pants exist..." he muttered to himself.

Afriel smiled at him, "I think the only thing you wouldn't d for me is wear a speedo," She teased trying to make him smile. She pulled out some long trunks from a rack and handed them to him. Sighing slightly, "The selection for men isn't very good," She commented and looked around the section. "You don't have to do this if you don't want to Devon," Afriel told him but held out the swim trunks to him anyway.

Devon smirked with a chuckle at her tease. "It' always been the case. Men don't get as many choices in clothes and they resemble each other often. I don't think it really matters what I'm wearing at this point." The man shrugged and took the trunks handed to him by Afriel. "It's not that I don't want to, it's just... something I simply feel really... opposite from. It's not something I really ever felt like doing." He explained as he made his way to the cash, only checking the size of the trunks roughly against himself after checking the size from the tag.

Afriel smiled at him as he aimlessly tried to guess his own size of trunks. "Oh Devon, what am I going to do with you," She said and giggled. Walking over she grabbed a pair of medium sized red trunks and held them out to him, "Medium, you want medium," She said and nodded to let him know she was serious. "Lets hit the dressing room?" She asked.

"I know medium's my size. I haven't changed sizes since I was 17." He pointed out. "Do I really need to try them on first? Cuz I'm fine with these if ask me, I'm not gonna be picky. It's what they probably call man-shopping" he added.

Peyton shook her head at him, "If you know it then stop acting like you don't," She giggled to him and shook her head again, "No, you don't have to try them on I just thought it would help to pick out one that you really like," She said and shrugged, "If you know which one you want then I can get it for you," Peyton held up her own swimsuit to indicate she was ready to pay.
