Those who came looking for the stranger sauntering the halls, did not have to search very far. The hooded woman had soon found her way to the dining hall where the crew she had encountered earlier were dining, now accompanied by an individual of authority. They all were gathered at large table for a feast that seemed overly immaculate for such a small feat. Zhara had not intentions of attempting to sneak into the audience, why bother when she planned on making her appearance well known once she was inside anyway. She calmly strode straight toward the guards of the dining hall, casually munching on the bird leg and the wine bottle dangling from her other hand. Unconcerned with consequences, there was not much Coppers worried about, she stood before the entrance awaiting the actions of those before her. Best case, she is allowed within where she can discover if this band and their motives was going to indeed be the new journey she was seeking. Worst case, her sojourn will include evading this castle's security. Either way, this trickster was well due for some fun and eager for adventure. He golden eyes gleamed joyfully from beneath her beige hood as she awaited council.

Ser was just about to open the door before he sensed her presence behind the door " Never mind milord , she found her way " he said as he opened the door " guards , she is a member of the party residing within at the moment , you can let her pass " he said as he walked back to the king's side . The 2 disguised Skurgions , watchful but also weary of the prince from the kingdom of sands , quite worried that his mother might alert her unease with them . Well that most likely may not happen but like everything Skurgion believe in , everything is 50/50 , so there is that 50% chance she will alert him and a 50% chance that she won't .......but then again what can he do if he does discover them .... they committed no crime so he has no right to be violent towards them . Their attention was then quickly drawn back to the new member entering the hall . Watching her carefully

Willow turned to the bard.

"Well they said there was someo- uhm...” The elf fell silent as a strange girl sauntered casually into the hallway. She gazed curiously at her. She seemed very relaxed despite being around strangers. Willow tilted her head.

“I guess thats who it was...?” She sat back down, scooting her chair closer to Ruvo. As excited as she was about having an extra guest in their party, something about the newcomer made Willow give pause.

Ruvo watched as the horned woman from earlier whom he had thought stopped following him and the others at some point strolled into the room, past some guards, and with a bird leg in one hand and a bottle of wine in the other.

“Oh, that’s Zhara. She uhh..dropped from the sky and started questioning and poking me earlier. She’s umm probably looking to finish asking me questions” he said as he watched Willow scoot her chair closer to him. “You uh alright there?” He asked.

The blond elf wasnt sure who her friend was talking to, but she nodded anyway. She vaguely remembered the horned girl from earlier, but because she had been so exhausted and hungry, she couldnt really remember much.

The elf also wasnt sure why Zhara intimidated her so much. She seemed nice, although maybe a bit unaware of the people and things around her. Willow supposed she couldnt say much though, as her parents had always told her she was the same way.

Still, she didnt relax, and kept a curious but gaurded gaze on the newcomer.

As she entered the great dining hall, Zhara looked about at all the grandeur. Immaculate and impressive for sure, but Zhara had been in much more intimidating halls when visiting with Dwarves and was not the least be shaken by the sight. She gazed around the room at all the inhabitants, taking in each ones position and demeanor. Noting all the new faces and becoming more aware than her previously aloof self, although she outwardly still exuding a nonchalant appearance.

"Oh, little birdie!" Zhara cooed with delight when her sight finally settled on Ruvo. Waving excitingly in his direction with her eating hand, bird leg swinging through the air, it finally hit her... BIRD! Golden eyes shit wide in horror as she looked at the hunk of meat bone she was parading around with a loud gasp. A sudden jerk of her powerful arm sent the bird leg spiraling away to the side of the room. "My apologies, Ruvo! I hope I did not offend you! I was not thinking."! Zhara shouted in dismay as she delved deeper into the room, approaching the grand table. "Please do forgive me." She pouted once she approached his side at the table, clasping her hands in front of her.

Her gaze peeked around the avian creature at the small, elven female. She was a pretty little thing, as we most elves Zhara had encountered and unlike the Tengu, this dragon very familiar with elves. After all, her family was an ancient line of devout Erevan Illesere followers, the elven god of mischief and rogues. Zhara held no ill will towards elves, most proved loyal allies, she did; however, choose to not follow the dogma of her ancestors. The blonde elf seemed a bit nervous, which sparked the hooded woman's empathy as well as triggering her mischievous nature. She smiled down at the girl, her tiny fangs protruding pass her full lips. "What a pretty little elf, surely you are a descendant of Hanali Celanil herself!" Zhara proclaimed, complimenting the girl in the name of the elven goddess of beauty and love, hoping to soothe any anxiety the girl might have for the unusually tall and stout woman.

Everything about this woman did often carry an aura of intimidation. From her off putting size and strength for a woman, to her gorgeous and virile appearance. Only her eccentric and light demeanor opposed her imposing visage, making her more approachable, or even making those around her to find her weak or slow witted. Quiet the opposite of the truth. Zhara was just as strong as her father and even more intelligent than her mother, but she preferred to live life lightly. A common trait among Coppers is their lighthearted nature and knack for trickery, but even her parents exuded some of the typical dragon arrogance that Zhara rarely exhibited.

Her eyes shifted to the head of the table where she assumed the ruler of this place resided. Not one too fond of authority, Zhara had to hold back a sneer and remind herself that she had met several benevolent leaders in the past. Perhaps this one too is not like the more abundant others who were not so kind. As lady like as she could manage, Zhara faced the head of the table and attempted a curtsy, wine bottle still in hand. "Pardon my intrusion, sir, I mean not to interrupt your glorious feast. I am simply a traveler of the lands and seeking the company of a worthy party to continue with my adventures. The current group of interest just happened to commune in your quarters, so therefore, here I am! If you wish my dismissal, I will offer no struggle, if you allow my stay, I do promise a wonderful time." Zhara concluded her attempt at an eloquent speech with wily wink in the man's direction. She did so hope to stay, she saw potential with this crew, a good story was sure to be had!

With her empty hand she drew the hood from head. Atop her head was a fierce set of of copper-red horns tinged with blue and green that curve backwards from her crown. Small talons tousled the dark, thick waves of hair, from their flattened position before she shook the heavy mass around her shoulders while simultaneously dropping the beige robe to the ground. No reason to attempt a disguise at this point, dragons are hard to hide anyway. Zhara tried a half bow, but straightened herself at the threat of her breasts slipping from the thin, olive fabric. "Tyramikellzharazillian the Contumacious Copper," she announce one her self appointed titles in a matter of factually tone. Pointing to her horns she completed, "A dragon of course; however, not the burn and pillage your town sort. Human flesh never has been much to my liking." Smoldering gold pools beheld the "hero" from the streets. "I prefer my meat with a hint of supernatural spice." She teased with a devilish smile, turning from the man who seemed to be the self proclaimed leader of the bunch, and refocusing on the master of the palace. "If it pleases you, my lord, you may call me Zhara." She completed with a delicate swig from the wine bottle.

Without much of a response from Willow aside from a slow nod, the avian bard wasn’t really sure if she was really okay. From what he could tell Willow seemed to have her gaze fixated on Zhara though for what reason he wasn’t sure. Was she afraid or intimated of the horned lady or simply curious about who she was?

He did not have much time to ask what was troubling Willow, however, as Zhara excitedly waved to him with bird leg in hand and referred to him as 'little birdie' in a cooing tone of voice which admittedly made him feel a tad awkward. Was this like what bards felt like when it came to fans and the nicknames they come up with? he briefly wondered. Ruvo had expected that he would be answering some more of Zhara's questions as he had sort of promised that he would after briefly ignoring her to ask Horus about the feast earlier in the day. What happened instead was something he did not expect in the slightest as the bird leg Zhara had was chucked to the far end of the room proceeded by her apologizing and asking for forgiveness as she drew closer to where he was seated.

While it was true that seeing others eat meat from birds made him feel uncomfortable he recognized that there was a difference between meet from a chicken and meat from taken from the corpse of a fellow tengu and that he had to deal with the fact that some people just like the taste of meat from birds. That being said, however, Ruvo himself would never eat any meat that came from a bird but he sure didn't want to stop anyone from eating something they enjoyed just because he was a bird.

"Its okay Zhara, you didn't offend me" he said assuredly in order to ease Zhara's worries before she went on to compliment Willow.

Horus and Titus both watched as the newcomer entered and immediately rushing towards Ruvo. Silently they both agreed to see how things were going to go before making any moves. Horus himself found it amusing that the newcomer after realizing they were holding a bird leg while talking to Ruvo also technically was a bird. What was not that great though was the bird leg being thrown across the room. Titus motioned for one of the servants to go clean that up while focusing on the newcomer. She then went on to compliment Willow for her beauty which he didn't think much on since what she said was pretty true in his opinion. Now turning toward Titus the newcomer introduced herself and Horus was surprised to hear that it was another who wished to join them on their travels.

Before Horus could say anything and possibly deny her she removed her hood and left him speechless. Now Horus did not want to admit this since he had his pride to think of but she was so gorgeous that he would of given her anything she desired. Yeah she may had been had a strange long named and was a copper dragon but that didn't matter too the demigod. He did have to rein himself in though so as to not knock over the whole table and ruin the meal.

"Well Zhara as you were able to make this far and I'm feeling good you may stay," said Titus. "As for joining this group I would believe Horus is the one who could decide if you will be joining them." Trying to relax after Zhara revealing herself Horus was left trying to think if it was a good idea to bring her along. Every fiber of his being was screaming to let her come but he wanted to save face. Horus, my son she is meant to go with you and your group. Great fine, he thought wishing his mother would had said something else.

"Hmmm.... Well I see nothing wrong for you joining us on our travels as it also seems even my mother Isis , goddess of war insist that you come with us."

Willow felt herself immediately relax as the girl who introduced herself as Zhara seemed a lot more...friendly then what she had looked. The elf smiled shyly at the dragon girl, blushing at the compliment. She wasnt EXACTLY sure who she was referring to, but she did know that the deity she had mentioned was supposed to be very beautiful.

The newcomer continued to introduce herself to the king, and Willow couldnt help but notice Horus’ smitten expression on his face. She smiled a bit, but decided it was best to keep quiet. Some things were better left unsaid... so she decided not to say it with words. Glancing at Ruvo, she smiled and motioned with her eyes to get him to look at Horus. She wasnt so sure he would be able to understand. Her mother had always told her she was very good at reading people when certain situations arose.

Her mother lied about a lot, but this she could agree with her on.

Azrael Shuyin Cross-30.5 Yrs-Werewolf
Azrael prowled through the streets, continuing to search for a meal until he chanced upon a lone human walking along the streets. Mouth opening, the wolf picked up his steps and pounced on the human, knocking it to the ground and snapping his teeth down on the man’s neck. With a crunch the human lay still and the wolf began to eat.

Eclipse Sky Greenvarden
Location: Asteria—Seelie Kingdom—Palace grounds

Gold eyes snapped open in the void, illuminating all that she saw—which was nothing. She was surrounded in darkness. Quite literally.

She was lucky for her Fae sight honestly, which quickly adjusted to her surroundings, and when they did, her heart sank. She was not in Asteria—not mentally. Sky stood at the edge of a forest—a perfectly non-magical forest, with a large grassy field behind her, stirring and shifting in the breeze, and farther behind her in that field, was the large, palace like structure of the Assassin’s Guild, it’s windows illuminated with a yellowish light, different from the moonlight that illuminated the grassy field around it.

But even as she walked deeper into the forest, it wasn’t the same. It never would be. Her senses were heightened. Everything was more vivid, brighter, clearer. The stars above her glowed. She could taste the smell of saltwater, the ocean a few miles off. Her heart pumped wildly as she ventured deeper, not noticing her slip of magic, and the way flowers bloomed under her steps, leaving a vibrant trail of tulips behind her.

She could feel the life force of each tree she passed, if it was dying, it felt low, and thrummed quietly, but it if was new, and had many years left ahead, it pulsed with energy, and it ran through her.

She followed the quiet thrumming of one tree, resonating deep in her chest. Until she arrived at the big oak tree in a small clearing, it’s trunk thick, and it’s branches almost just as thick. It leaves, however, were gone. Her heart stopped, as she noticed the icicles that dripped water from its low hanging branches.

A dark form stepped from behind the tree, and her hands clenched into fists.

“I would absolutely love it, if you stayed in your own mind.” Sky said dryly, crossing her arms and hugging herself from the cold, only dressed in a light blue nightgown.

There was no love in Cassian’s black eyes, which bore down on her with cold boredom as he strode towards her, and stopped at a safe distance. Her heart cracked a little, remembering when they had been much closer, when he had once gazed at her with all the love in the world.

“You’re losing territory,” Cassian drawled, his lips tilting upwards into a thin smirk, “Your court despises you, your subjects have tried to trick you, multiple times.” He smiled, perfect white teeth that seemed predatory with his sharper canines.

“Did you bring me here to state the obvious?” Sky said dryly with an edge to her tone.

“It seems just a little too easy,” he tilted his head, “doesn’t it?” He took a couple steps closer, forcing her to back up against a tree, her heart beating madly. No. There was no way he knew, not yet.

“I’m not sure what you mean,” she said, feigning obvious innocence.

Cassian leaned into her, placing his hand above her head, “Don’t play games with me, Eclipse.” He growled.

She flinched at the name. The formal name. As if he didn’t know her. Calling her by the name her parents gave her, the parents she never knew. Instead, she gave him a smirk, placed both hands on his broad chest, her claws digging into the material of his shirt and shoved him back, surprising him.

“Snap your own head off.” Sky snapped.

~~

Sky awoke with a start, jolting up in her massive bed. Her room—or rather, whoever held the thrones room, was a massive bedroom, made up of the roots of the large tree that sat in the center of the palace, thick, brown roots spreading from the floor, and encasing the entire bedroom, leaving small open gaps that let her gaze over her kingdom of Fae, and up at the sky above.

She blinked the sun out of her eyes—or what felt like it, a ray of moonlight peaking through the cracks of the branches and shining into her direct line of sight on the pillow. Sitting up and blinking blearily, her long, wavy hair a disheveled mess, she groaned as she swung her legs over the side of bed.

Two figures finally popped up by the massive oak door, their fat, short, round bodies upheld in the air by their tiny, wasp-like wings, both of their hairs made up of leaves and branches, with knarled fingers and a protruding nose. Her handmaidens, and servants, Twig and Thistle, as she had taken to calling them—much to their irritation.

“Oooo, she’s finally awake,” Thistle snipped, “She sleeps like a mortal.” She remarked to her sister distastefully.

Twig clucked her long, snake-like tongue distastefully, her pointed teeth snapping together as she let out a sharp cackle, “OF course she does, she looks like one doesn’t she. Hardly Fae, that one.”

“Says the flying bush,” Sky remarked, her tone laced with annoyance as she walked over to the reflection pool in the corner of the room, her pink hair trailing at her knees, the color of cherry blossoms. Gods forbid the Fae have mirrors.

Thistle let out a hiss before she and Twig readied her for the day, dressing her in a regal gown made of white silk as light as air, sparkling with red-orange scales that adorned her sleeves and the tail of her dress before tugging on her hair sharply as braided it. .

“Watch it,” Sky snapped, as they tugged on her hair once more. They responded in silence, obeying the command and finally styling her hair into a braided crown that wrapped around her head, and adoring it with a gold crown made shaped like a wreath made of branches, adorned with flowers of different varieties. As she gazed in the reflecting pool, she frowned. She looked nothing like herself.

As she left her rooms, and made her way over the passed out revelers that slept in the hallway, Fae of different forms and faces, she was greeted by her bodyguard, and advisor, Aerion. He, like herself for the most part, was High Fae, and looked mainly elven, with long blonde hair smoothed back behind his dulled pointed ears that differed from elves, and sharper canines that matched her own. She looped an arm through his as they walked

“The Emperor of the mainlands has...not responded yet, Your Highness.”

“Of course they haven’t. Why help the Fae kingdom?” She said exasperatedly, letting out a heavy sigh.

“The message may have been intercepted,” Aerion countered, “It’s possible the Unseelie King could have stopped it’s arrival. No doubt he has spies on the coast.”

“Of course he does,” Sky said as they rounded the corner into another corridor filled with more unconscious revelers. “Which is why I’ve already asked for transportation to be prepared. I’m leaving,” she paused. “Today.”

Aerion gaped, “Are you mad? The mortals may just as likely kill you. Asteria is separated from them for a reason. The Fae are not liked, Unseelie or no.”

Sky gave him a wicked grin. “Then I’m positively insane.”

The two flies following the werewolf couldn't believe what they saw , they each flew back to the palace to inform their princess about what they had witnessed . They turned into their normal skurgion selves before bursting in , forgetting that there was an event "Princess Veya we have.......oh.....sorry majesty " they said as they looked to the sand guards that walked over to them as black smoked engulfed them and in their place were 2 Skurgion , the female being the princess that they referred to "what is it you two , i thought i told you to follow that man " she said as she crossed her arms " We did mistress but that was no mere man , that was a werewolf and he seems to be able to transform at will , he just killed someone and was feasting on him when we came here " they said as they evaded eye contact with Veya as is Skurgion custom for them , she sighed as she turned to the other skurgion " Well no need to disguise yourself anymore Ser , you stay here , i'll deal with this " she said as she rushed off with the other 2

Ruby watched as everything went on , keeping to her self at the corner of the table as she watched the woman enter . She looked at the expression everyone gave but noticed a change in horus when she revealed herself . Smiling to herself as he seemed to grow very fond of her in a matter of seconds . She then turned to the king and wanted to ask if she could try to completely fix the relationship between her kingdom and this kingdom on behalf of her parents , but stopped . She didn't know the state of the relationship herself so she would have to later do research on that and come back later if she is still here. Her attention turned to the new ones that basically almost broke down the door to get inside . She shivered at their news , a werewolf actually terrified her a lot and there was one in the city that is able to transform at will , she was glad to be in here now .

Azrael Shuyin Cross-30.5 Yrs-Werewolf
Azrael, unaware that he had been spotted or followed by a couple of flies which were really some form of not humans, continued tearing into the flesh and ripping off clothing since that was indigestible. Dragging the human back through the streets into the alley he'd used to get down on, he left a bloody smear on the ground but didn't seem all that concerned as he kept tearing flesh from bone. Azrael was starving and so he ate quickly...the damn journey from one continent to another foreign land had been a bloody long one. Until he could become more settled next to an available food source, the damaged werewolf would go where he thought the best pickings were.

Kaudri Rahanyon-20 Yrs-Elf/Fairy
Kaudri had left the pink glob of slime long ago within the tavern. "Master, where are we going?" came Coral's voice as he trotted at his master's side.

"Someplace where we can set up shop and spend the evening. We'll start selling things tomorrow and head home when we have money," said Kaudri as he walked through the streets, his wings still visible with it being night and nobody out on the streets to see. He could have flown but didn't much feel like doing so. It wasn't the forest he grew up in so everything would be a bit confusing from the air. Heading through the darkened and silent streets, he eventually found his way outside the city where he found a small area of seemingly unclaimed earth of which to set things up. Pulling his wings back with a thought, the hybrid looked like an ordinary mortal, albeit his tallness and his ears. He dropped his bag and laid out a bedroll before lying down, Coral coming to rest at his master's side as he kept his bag close, one hand through the strap to keep it from being stolen.

Mazzush Bohogl-80 Yrs-Half Orc

Mazzush left the destroyed walls of the city behind her and looked around. The streets appeared relatively deserted as the seer looked around. Choosing to head to her left, Mazzush headed towards the intact portion of the city, her steps taking her towards a hopefully hospitable inn where she could find rest for the evening until she next knew what to do. Her footsteps also took her away from the violence happening within the city at this moment, allowing her feet to guide her as she went over the vision in her mind's eye, snatches of the vision coming back to her. What puzzled her the most was the floating yellow feather which was as bright as the sun above. After inquiring at a few different places, Mazzush managed to find someone that would give her a place to stay for the night and she took the key in hand before heading towards a table and pulling out a sketchpad and a piece of charcoal before beginning to draw the scene from her vision.

Zhara cast Ruvo a soft smile, glad she had not offended the feathered creature that had initially sparked her interest in this group. Standing here now, she realized there was a plethora of curious people involved! She would have a interesting time with them, indeed; although she was not sure how well she would fare with the bug lady, especially if her larger bug companions were to be around too. "Good choice, you must be one of the wiser rulers I have had the pleasure of meeting." Zhara addressed the Emperor. Her attention then shifted curiously to the man introduced as Horus. "Ah, you mean the hero." She mused casting a sly look his way, that was suddenly replaced with a look of revulsion.

A few swift steps brought the alluring woman to the chair beholding the said "hero". Propping herself with hand on the armchair, leaning down and towards Horus.
"I appreciate the allowance to tag along; however, I follow the laws of no god, nor goddess, nor anyone for that matter, but especially not deities. I go where I please as I please, so don't expect any efforts from me on behalf of Mama. Alright?" She turned and planting her rump on the arm of his chair, crossing her legs. "I am tagging along for a good time, ya see. To learn what I can and experience the adventures of life! And have some fun along way." Zhara noted with a flirty wink over her shoulder as she took another sip of wine then holding bottle in Horus's direction. "Do the spawn of the Divine partake in wine?"

Zhara's eyes cut to the sudden disturbance entering the room. Her head cocked to the side in confusion as some individuals began taking new forms and talking among themselves about an issue within the city. A werewolf. Zhara stiffened, she did not much care for other shape shifters, particularly those who completely concealed their true selves. A werewolf did not concern her, but these dark skinned creatures did not bring her much comfort. They much resembled the dark elves that her kind were far from fond of, though they were distinctly not the same in some aspects, their appearance was still off putting to the typically indifferent dragon. Zhara clicked her tongue in distaste, her eyes squinted as she awaited the direction of the events.

Elise had been staring out her bedroom window, gazing at the two moons for what seemed like forever. She couldn’t help but get lost in the luminescent glow they produced and how majestic they seem to appear surrounded by the scattered stars in the night sky. The view was even more captivating by the shimmering reflection of the ocean seen off in the distance just past the city walls. Just as she was about to recall a story her father once told her she heard a knock at the door. Elise took a deep breath and released it, an attempt to stifle her frustration having been brought back to reality.

She got up from her bed, opened the door and there stood a pair of the many butlers and maids that served the Altrium family. Known for their unorthodox practices, the Altrium family trains their maids and butlers extensively in the art of combat and hospitality and then they are put in teams of two. For hundreds of years the Altrium grounds have been an impenetrable source of safety and fine etiquette.

They both bowed and the butler spoke “Milady, we’ve come to notify you that dinner is now being served in the dining hall. Your parents await your arrival.” Elise thanked and sent them on their way but not before giving each of them a tight hug. In the beginning it was something that caught everyone off-guard because it was never heard of to do such a thing but as time went on they were accustomed to it. It was just how Lady Elise was. Elise walked through the long hallways, making several turns while admiring family portrait’s along the way. “I wonder what’s on the menu tonight” she wondered aloud.

One more turn down a corridor and the faint smell of food filled the air. As on cue Elise’s stomach began to grumble and her pace quickened. Before she knew it she was at the dining hall doors. With a slight push the doors opened and the smell of meat, potatoes and buttered rolls flooded her senses. Before she could get lost in the aroma; her mother, Elena, called out to her. “Elise dear, do come sit down. Some of us are hungry you know” she said with an amused smile. With embarrassment on her face, she rushed over to her parents, kissing each of them on the cheek before taking a seat across from them. Elise bowed her head and brought her hands up in the prayer position, her parents followed suit, and began blessing the food. After which they began to eat and catch each other up on the day’s events.

“And then instructor Orion starts to tell the class one of his many war stories about how he single handily defeated a wave of enemy forces with nothing but a piece of string, a rune and half empty bottle of tier 2 spider venom.” Said Elise; in-between bites of pie. “The only thing that man has single handily done is perfect the art of storytelling.” Said her father; James, which earned a hearty laugh from both his wife and Elise.

Before long, everyone had grown tired. With the table being cleaned off by the maids, James and Elena walked with their daughter back to her bedroom. Upon arrival Elise turned around to hug the both of them. “Sweet dreams love.” Said Elena, her father followed up with a kiss to the forehead. Elise closed the door as they left and she made her way back to her bed. The two moons were still high and magnificently bright. In that moment she flashed back to a point during dinner where one of their butlers alerted them to a werewolf siting in the city.

“Werewolves huh?” Elise wondered aloud as she allowed herself to fall back into her own world.

Much has since happened as the Tortle finely dined at the well-prepared table; the woman of earlier arrived and has since formally, and somewhat casually, introduced herself to their majesties, and before that was the one who was seemed to be called Willow making quite boisterous remarks, then after those two events, news of something called a werewolf being around the city. How often does this town get such cruel beasts lurking within? The mainland was quite surely not this dangerous, is it?

The Tortle was quite quiet and content with keeping to himself at the moment, unsure of their next action, but do know he shall tag along with the group if need be. As of current, those of higher positions such as Ruby, Horus, and the king were in discussions he was neither interested or understood about. He felt as if he needed to make an acquaintance with the others... which would happen to be the feathered fellow, and the pointy-eared lady.

"... have you been travelling with Sir Horus for a while? I wanted to know about your own qualms of the situation we've been put into." Flotsam asked the two generally, hoping to spark up a common interest within the group. Another is because these individuals do interest him. The one with the strange wooden, stringed instrument, and who's feathers and features made the Tortle gain a hint of fading remembrance of a similar, smaller creature, but was not sure how. How far did this minstrel have to travel to end up here, the Tortle wondered. Then the extreme demeanor of the fellow beside him were probably what makes them, well, them. The condition of being intoxicated was something Flotsam was familiar with, and believes to be that she simply behaves as such. Does she not have the pet rodent earlier? It must be kept deceptively hidden. Flotsam will have to be content that this woman is not as simple as she appears to be.

As morning approached, Kaudri could be found lying in the same place he had been the night before. As the sun rose within the sky, Kaudri opened his eyes and found himself outside in an area with merchants scattered around the area outside the city, Coral still curled up on Kaudri’s stomach. He shoved the fairy dragon off him and sat up, causing a squeak from Coral who woke up. “Master?”

“It’s time for work Coral,” said Kaudri as he got up and used magic to clean himself before getting to his feet. He looked around him at merchants waking and setting things up, the hybrid getting to his feet. “We have a little money and can possibly get a quick meal,” said Kaudri. Picking up his bag he and Coral headed to a nearby inn to get a bite to eat, not knowing their plans would change.

Mazzush stared at her drawing. Green flames...a floating yellow feather...a behemoth and ruined walls with indescribable figures who she didn’t recognize but had some traits of those in her vision. She had retired to her room afterwards, glad that she had a bed to sleep in. As morning came upon the city, the prophet could be found eating at the inn she had found a place in, looking up as the door opened and what appeared to be an elf walked in. He looked around and spitting a bear empty table, headed for it. “May I sit here?”

“None are sitting here so you may,” responded Mazzush, earning a nod of thanks from the elf, a dragon hopping up on the table.. “You are?”

“Kaudri, an elf-fairy hybrid,” spoke Kaudri, “and Coral whom is my pet and a fairy dragon. I’m here for trading before going back home,” Kaudri said.

“I see,” said Mazzush. She called a waiter over and the pair ordered some breakfast as Mazzush looked around. “How are you not scorning me? Oh and my name’s Mazzush.”

“Because I know what it is like to be scorned by both halves of my race for being what they think of as an abomination.”

The next morning Horus had regretted all the drinking he had did the night before. He wished so bad that he didn't try to keep up with Zhara and the others but of course his greatest weakness got the better of him. Titus was kind enough get him to a room before anything bad could happened and told the others that they could stay the night. Before he left out one of the servants was sent to send Horus a hangover elixir, very rare and very effective. He was back on his feet feeling as good as new with no signs that he had even taken a single sip of wine the night before. Heading out of his room he didn't see any of the others yet so he went to go wait for them out front. He didn't want to go far so they couldn't find him but he was in a bit of a rush since he had to go home which was far to the north and it would take time. After that though he wasn't sure where he wanted to go next and he wanted to talk that over with the others to decide. So as to spend the time he watched over in the distance on the other side of the courtyard he saw troops being trained. He was used to seeing that at home but the low number was a bit staggering. I might have to have more soldiers sent back too just in case.

Horus just could not understand why there seemed to be a higher number of monster activity going on nowadays. It always felt like there were monsters that needed to be fought off and killed. Something had to be causing it but he didn't want to actively try to figure that out, he wanted to enjoy life. Yeah he wasn't opposed to getting into a fight from time to time but he didn't like his "Hero" label that he gets from it.

"Wonder how long they are going to make me wait for them?"

The night was slow for Ruby , she couldn't sleep , the paranoia that her race shared with each other was partially to blame for that. She feared that the driders might think that something happened to her and would try entering the palace to try and look for her .....well there was no yelling from soldiers during the night so the driders must have been more calm then she first though but because of her race she could also stay awake for several days before needing sleep again.......it would just help if there was something to do .The next day after that long night was finally over she walked through the hallways towards the courtyard in front of the palace . Her 4 wings were pointing outwards , a way of her still stretching them despite not sleeping . The the morning sun warmed her skin and wings , she couldn't help but stop for a while , the morning always being her favorite time . She stood still for a while longer before her attention turned to the soldiers practicing . Her gaze moving further she saw Horus sitting by himself , walking over to greet him " Morning ......any reason you are sitting here by yourself with only the wind , sun and sound of soldiers practicing as company " she asked as she stood next to him , arms folded behind her back .

Veya and her 2 guards followed the werewolf the rest of the night as crows , it did take sometime again to track him but they managed , the guards filled Veya in with the info they forgot to mention " Well , no worries boys ....he has to explain this anyway so lets go , he is in an alleyway so no harm can come to anyone else " she said as she landed a short distance away with her guards and taking her true form " Morning ......im sure we can be civilized .....and lets start with you explaining last night's actions " she instantly said , not giving him even a chance to recognize them , slowly stepping forward with the other 2 , each ready for a fight should he choose to do just that .

Azrael Shuyin Cross-30.5 Yrs-Werewolf
Azrael was still in his wolf form as he gnawed on a bone that morning, the only inedible thing beingbthe clothes though the carcass had been picked clean. The wolf looked up from where he was lying on the ground with a femur bone, his jaws easily cracking through to get to the tender narrow underneath when the smell of bird entered his nose which was replaced by something else. Looking up from his meal, Azrael growled as he saw three figures with dark skin standing before him. Not even deigning the strangers with a response, he ran his tongue through the crack, lapping up the marrow.

Grunting, Azrael pushed himself to a sitting position, yellow eyes staring at between the three. Opening his mouth the wolf cackled, only it didn’t sound like a wolf. Rather it was the eerie and crazed laugh of a hyena, people had thought master had injected him with hyena genes as well as his partner. Shifting form, the prehistoric wolf was replaced by a human with pale hair and skin. “Explanation denied,” growled Azrael roughly, ignoring the bits of skin and flesh between his teeth. He would wash that down later with some water or good alcohol. He didn’t answer to anyone but his master but his master had been murdered. Everything he knew had been left behind when he left Dacorna. SilverSentinal SilverSentinal

Getting their meals sometime later, the Half Orc and Elven Fairy discussing why they were within the city of humans. Kaudri learned that the prophet had a vision which was the reason she had come here. Kaudri sighed and decided to come along with Mazzush in looking for these people she had seen, Kaudri dimly remembering a turtle.

Mazzush hurried to get her bag from her room and then they had left, beginning their search for the group in question, their travels somehow taking them to the palace.

With dinner concluded Ruvo had expected to be shown the way out where he would then have to find a place to sleep for the night. However, he couldn’t have foreseen Horus’s apparent low tolerance for alcohol which prompted the emperor to allow for the party to stay the night so that his friend could recover. After being led to the room in the palace where he would be sleeping Ruvo quickly set his belongings down and laid down.

The bed was easily the softest and most comfortable he had ever slept on and the avian bard woke up the next morning feeling quite well rested and ready to set out with his new traveling companions.

Making his way through the hallways of the palace with some instructions from some servants Ruvo eventually ended up outside the front where he spotted Horus and Ruby, the two members of royalty in the party. “Good morning” he said approaching with his lute in hand and slowly strumming on some of the strings to make sure it was still tuned correctly.

Willow stretched and opened her eyes. She sighed, content, as she sat up in bed. Glancing around, she saw L.C. resting peacefully beside her. Willow gave him his own pillow to sleep on. He liked his space. Smiling, she hopped silently from the warmth of the bed and padded around the room. It didnt occur to her that they had someplace to be as she stood blissfully in the palace room.

She had always dreamt of herself in such a place as this. It was so elegant. She remembered her father talking about rooms like this one, but she never believed him until now. Looking back on it, thats the first time she had thought about something where her parents hadnt lied to her...

Picking up an embroidered hair brush from a small vanity sitting adjacent from the bed, she ran it through her golden locks carefully, admiring each stroke. She would give anything to live in such a place... suddenly an urgent squeeking snapped her out of her daydreams. Turning, she saw that L.C. was awake.

“Well good morning to you too! Oh,” the elf exclaimed suddenly, her friend reminding her of the urgent departure Horrus was planning on, “You’re right L.C., we need to get going!” Hopping up and scooping the mouse up onto her shoulder, she threw open her door and skipped outside, the sunlight doing wonders for helping her sleep addled brain. Noticing Ruby, Horus and Ruvo were already outside, she smiled and skipped over to them waving. She was in a particularly good mood after there visit to the palace.

“Good morning guys!”

Mazzush and Kaudri continued towards the palace, servants pouting them to the training area in front of the palace where they found a trio of people already there. Mazzush stopped as she saw the bird creature or more specifically the yellow feathers from her vision. There was a man there with some giant bug which was slightly disgusting to both newcomers and what appeared an elf that caused Kaudri to grit his teeth. “Excuse me! This may sound weird,” Mazzush said as she stride forward leaving Kaudri standing there, “but I think I am suppposed...I think I saw you in my vision.”

The Tortle make their way outside, finding the likes of Ruvo, Willow, Ruby, and Horus already outside, out and about. How fortunate for them to be prepared now. It seems that these people already knew their way around the castle, unlike him, who after was led to a very comfortable sleeping quarters to rest with the others for the evening, accidentally made their way further into the castle. He would have reached the barracks, which anyone of a normal happenstance should know they couldn't just stumble upon, but a servant has managed to lead them here, where his other associates were with. However, even more people were here now, two in particular and one who was quite green with teeth as sharp as wolves. Might this be another race? What a coincidence for all these people of different races hold little difference to each other, but are still treated as their respective race.

"Greetings." Flotsam simply announced as he arrived to the scene, to allow others to know of his presence. Were they finally ready to get a move on? He is not sure if there will be any more to come, aside from the festive lady from last evening.

Horus had been playing with the idea of summoning someone to keep him company but wasn't sure who to pick. Stopping that train of thought he was greeted by Ruby, the chrysmorph princess if he remembered correctly. Unlike a lot of humans Horus did not hold any kind prejudice against any race specifically the chrysmorphs in this case. He did think though that she was very beautiful if you were one who didn't mind her white eyes and insect wings. " Morning ......any reason you are sitting here by yourself with only the wind , sun and sound of soldiers practicing as company " Ruby asked as she stood next to Horus , arms folded behind her back .

"Good morning," he replied. "I was just waiting for everyone to wake up but this kind of atmosphere reminds me of home. " The Kingdom of the Sands was known to have a warrior like culture where every man, women, and child is trained to fight. Even those who are not join in the military are trained alongside their normal studies. So for him the wind, sun, and the sound of soldiers training is common place, just here there was a large lack of sand. Turning over at the sound of Ruvo with Willow following behind her greeting them for the morning.

"Good morning...." he said left speechless as two others he didn't know. Horus wasn't sure who or what they are but was curious to what the reason they came to the castle courtyard just to see them. “Excuse me! This may sound weird,” Mazzush said as she stride forward leaving Kaudri standing there, “but I think I am supposed...I think I saw you in my vision.” This was an interesting development and it was only the morning. Flotsam had also finally made and appearance leaving only Zhana as the only one to arrive.

"A vision you say? I haven't met many people who had vision but what makes you so sure this vision was pointing you to come with us?" Horus asked.
