I don’t remember all the details of that one, betting related I think was the latest scandal? but Domestic violence and the assaults among a list of problems and scandals involving him over the years. Plenty of reasons to hate that guy. His ex wife paying Hartman’s fine for giving him the middle finger was awesome lol or least she helped pay it from what I saw. That alone says it all about the guy lmao.

Nah, it’s all good bro! I don’t think I had a question was just replying to the convo we had about builds and added a mention of the curious nature I have now with the different archtypes at other positions. since I focused so much on the wing with my first build didn’t really consider the other spots til after. But looking back to double check, no questions and can’t think of one yet that’s a new one.

Habs/Isles understandable that would have been a game to watch for sure. Prices return too. But yeah it’s all good either way haha appreciate it though.

it’s going nice so far. Already see the grind starting after the draft, sabres as expected going the memorial cup route. But the playmaker archetype is nice and will be great once I get the stick skill higher plus overall too. 72 OVR so far. Balancing out the skills for now.

Yeah, I was thinking being away from the game as I have maybe I’d take the memorial cup route even though I knew it was guaranteed I’d go top two of the draft after talking with you about it. Seemed like the way to start for the little extra exp for me on the sticks. So playing for the sabres now.

1 preseason game down. Wasn’t great offense wise but got an assist and played strong D so I’ll take that with this overall lol. But yeah true, it’s going to be a adjustment for the first bit since NBA 2K’s career mode you can start out higher if you’ve got the VC to upgrade. But this is nice still. Didn’t take long to go a few levels higher. Much cheaper to upgrade as well (2K invites/encourages too much spending on VC with their setup) So the first build there is rough. Here it’s not too bad imo comparing the two.

I don’t know what my second build would be, but I’ll definitely pick the other option to pick a team over top 2 pick selection.

Oh yeah forgot about that. Playing with rosters that are not as updated is odd for me. But that’s true, Eichel playing on the sabres is odd. The fact that he’s a Knight just gives more reason to root against him haha. Usually players returning to play against an old team especially with tributes being given to them, usually have more humility and class rather then taking jabs.

Yea I'm glad Eichel is on the Knights since I don't like him and I don't like the Golden Knights. The only one on Vegas I like is Lehner. As an Isles fan, I love Robin Lehner for what he did for us in 2019. Such a class act.

I’d hate to see this become a repeat of the Flames last game against the knights. A 6-1 type of whopping like that game or similar to one you mentioned with Blues/Isles. Those are rough to take.

I didn’t get the clearest look when i came back and saw the end of it. I think it was Leddy? I could be wrong though. But thought it was a number 5 who left after the hit. But yeah I think it was Leddy who got hit under the eye near the cheek area by a accidental stick shot during a play for the puck.
