No reason for that BS at all and didn’t think even Tkachuk who can be a dirty player and have his line crossing moments (He was a flame, but he still frustrated even Flames fans with some of the stuff he’d pull and the timing of it all.) I didn’t think he’d cross that one. The irritation of opposing players and aggressive play can be appreciated at times. but this was a b**** move imo and nothing close to acceptable.

Yeah definitely there are quite a few. Meanwhile I have to look up and see Boston and VGK at the top of the league or right there in the top five. Yikes…. Haha. I keep telling myself it’s still early lol, but some of these slumps and some of the unfortunate hot starts are rough goings.

Yeah that’s true. Nice to see the young devils doing well. (Though probably not for you as a division rival lol. But from my perspective it’s nice to see the young squad doing well.)

Jets are looking better now with Bones behind the bench and sit atop the division. Some good stories this season too tbh.

Yea, mixed feelings. Not too happy to see it as a fan of a divisional rival but it was bound to happen sometime with all of that young talent in Jersey.

Definitely agreed. Noticeable improvements with coach Bones behind the bench in Winnipeg.

Understandable there. I’m just kinda surprised they figured it out with Ruff behind the bench, he’s got the resume but the fit has always seemed off til now imo when watching the team play before this season and to start this year before the hot streak began. But true yeah it was bound too and with Palat and others added like Vanacek, etc, it should have only helped.

Yeah great to see too. Would love to see them finish ahead of Dallas and Colorado haha.

I also gotta hand it to the Kraken. I thought they’d be noticeably better this season with their moves they made getting Bjorkstrand and others. But wow, early, but still pretty nice start and they’ve seemed to have found their style of play that fits them best.

Holy Damn, We actually pulled a trade for Ryan Reaves?!?! Haha. I gotta love it! So many of our key bigs are out and now we got more protection for Kaprizov, Zuccarello and company. When healthy, we will now have Big Rig Greenway, Foligno and Reaves on our lines. Plus some scrappy guys like Shaw & Duhaime that can bring some energy and go when needed. Not a big move on the scoring side, but still love the move for the protection and size side of the trade.

I heard Reaves requested a trade cuz he got scratched during the game vs the Kings.

Oh yeah? Interesting. Understandable. I don’t think I’ve really seen him play this year. Not that he’s played a ton this past year or two, but still.

Yea but he’s also not been doing that well.

Essentially, good acquisition for the Wild. Rangers gave him away for free but also have cleared away $1.5 mil in cap space.
 
Yo! Been awhile. Recently been thinking after checking the standings again how funny it would be if the Blue Jackets after that big off-season and raised expectations that have failed miserably to live up towards…. If, a plot twist such as the Blue Jackets ended up winning the lottery and won the Bedard sweepstakes. Haha. (Not saying it would happen but hell, they are right there at the moment.) A deeper plot twist that’s mere entertainment value is if this were a movie or mastermind play, to spend all that money and make that kind of noise in the off-season only to foil the teams play during the first year since the big spending to then land the prized prospect to gain a even bigger haul over a two year span or less actually. Risky, unlikely but a massive swing for the fences while enduring a incredibly disappointing season and likely upsetting a lot of fans along the way. (Still believe a coaching change could be past due…. But Ruff proved me wrong in NJ, so, what do I know? Haha.)

;-; our usual method of watching the game isn’t working. Hasn’t been working all this year. Ever since we won the cup the hockey website has been showing 100% ZERO games
