Sabres-Panthers got testy at the end of the game. Too bad I missed most of the game, but good competitive matchup from what I can tell. Tkachuk continues to get the other team riled up and fighting lol. Fair number involved there at the end. Florida won 4-3

Tkachuk was being annoying af when he played the Isles. He really likes to get under people’s skin.

Oh yeah that’s definitely a big fact. I’d get extremely annoyed with the guy if he’s on another team and even when he was on the Flames he could be frustrating in his timing with it all, seem to get himself in the box at the wrong time during games imo. Least it very much felt that way to me at the time watching those late season games and playoffs. Although loved him jawing and getting into it with Kane (Evander) during those battle of Alberta games. Quite understandable though, I’m sure he was very annoying during that game. He had pretty much all the Sabres that were on the ice coming at him at the end of the game. Dahlin, Tuch and Cozens being the most notable that I saw and they showed on camera. Couldn’t get a look at the other two guys on the ice with the angle. Knight, Reinhart were all getting involved to try and break it up from what I saw.

Flyers with a comeback win over the Canucks. Decent game. Carter Hart has looked good so far to start the season, Flyers look decent to start the year. Only two games though. But definitely a nice start for Tortz in Philly.

Yeah kinda surprised. I knew they’d play better under Tortz but they look different so far even without some key guys on the IR to start the season.
Nice! I’ve been bouncing back and forth between college football and NHL. I’m going to tune into the Devils v Red Wings with it starting here after this remaining pre-game.

Yeah lol. He’s pretty honest about his team that’s for sure, probably was a good thing for the Flyers to maybe cut out some of the crap and locker room issues they’ve got going on.
Oh? Interesting. That was a bad loss though, couldn’t believe they lost by that much even with Hischier and some others out for that game. Blackwood I think was in Net and didn’t look great to open the year.

Devils goaltending and defense have been falling apart after a nice start. Late 2nd period on has been all Red Wings.

I was at work for a bit, but saw the Flames beat the Oilers! Love it! Vladar I think was in Net tonight going by earlier reports of that news before the game and during the NJD pre game show. So nice W for him and great for Flames! Also happy to see those Oilers beat. Too early in a long season, but so far, I’m liking what I’m seeing from the new look team haha.

Haha. I just looked up the box score and saw after giving up 4 goals in 11 shots he was taken out and Skinner was out in, dude went perfect with his save percentage in relief. So definitely glad we hit while we could in that game.
