( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )
Bismarck's short reverie was broken by the feeling of two soft circular things on the back of his head, which often meant that Maria was awake. The shop owner blinked, his cheeks turning light pink as always; one would think that after being her fiancé for two years and knowing her for six, he would be used to it. He was, but there was something about having Maria's chest against his head that turned Bismarck into a stammering mess. He turned over to her, smiling with the usual blushing face, and was about to wish her a good morning like always—
—Then, just for a moment, Maria was covered in blood. Bismarck stared at her, his face turning from flustered to shocked as, dazedly, a hand reached up to her face to wipe the blood off. To Maria, it looked as though he was rather meticulously stroking her cheek, but to him it seemed to be getting worse the more he tried. And just like that, he was snapped back to reality. Maria was fine, and he looked like an idiot on drugs. He awkwardly lowered his hand. That had felt so real, though. How could something like that have been an illusion? Bismarck thought for a while, then, giving up on trying to think of an answer, just resolved his problem by hugging her. "G-Good morning, Maria...." he said softly, doing his best (as always) to hide the fact that he was panicking again. In the end his solution was just to bury his face in her shoulder, trying not to freak out too much.
Okay, was it just him or did he have a really bad stomachache? Bismarck ignored it for the time-being, instead just kind of standing there, hugging her like she was a teddy bear he hadn't seen in ages. His vision flickered back to the previous image he'd seen; bloody Maria, though now looking down at himself he noticed that where the stomachache was, he was bleeding openly. Another illusion, but Bismarck obviously found it very believable. A few of his tears wet Maria's shirt where his face was. The Letterman didn't say anything to explain why, save for something very vague.
"S-Stomachache...."

Maria Jones
Maria giggled a bit at his blushing face, honestly after so long she did expect him to be used to it...but oh well. She didn't min at all, she found it pretty sweet he still enjoyed it so much regardless. She could tell something was wrong, his expression, though brief conveyed shock and partial fear. She frowned a little as she rubbed her cheek and sighed heavily, "Good morning Bizzy." She replied, gently rubbing his back as he hugged her. She could tell something was wrong, what it was she did not know.
When told the obvious lie of him having a stomach ache she looked down at him, "Bizzy, come on. I know you're lying..just tell me what happened." She told him. "I won't make fun of you or anything."
