Mei was on a chair by the counter, asleep.

Miori sighed, throwing a blanket on her with his non broken arm. He then jumped onto the couch and laid down, bored to death.

Mei woke up a bit latter, yawning.

"And she's awake," Miori said, sitting up and tapping his glasses. As always, he had a half-eaten apple in his hand.

"Morning, girly girl who's a friend," Miori said, walking into the kitchen. He tossed the apple away and started making coffee. "Want some coffee?" he asked, finishing off his.

Mei sighed and rubbed her eyes. "Sure." She mumbled, her tail flicking.

Miori flicked his tail, giving her a coffee and drinking his. "So, slept good?" he asked, finishing his coffee and putting the mug in the sink.

Mei shrugged. "Sure I guess. You should be resting though. You have a broken arm."

Miori perked his ears and raised an eyebrow. "Care about me?" he asked, sitting on a chair. He flicked his tail and awaited a reply.

Mei flushed slightly and averted her gaze. "No." she lied.

"Okay, your a terrible liar," Miori said, chuckling. "Also, whenever someone lies is when they don't look you in the eyes. You care about me."

Mei flushed, glaring at the counter. "No I don't." She said.

"Alright then, live life with a lie," Miori said, chuckling. He folded his hands and awaited her yelling.

Mei just smacked her face on the counter, not caring to tell him that her entire life was a lie and that she was not a regular kid.

"Alright, I'm going to my room if you need me," Miori said, getting up. He then got to his room and shut the door until it was cracked a bit, laying down.

Mei drank her coffee and sat down to watch some TV.

Miori turned on some music and listened to it. His hoodie was on and he was lost in thought. Despite everything that happened, he was happy, kind of.

Mei turned on her show.

Miori stared at the ceiling, bored out of his mind. The music put him in a world of his own.

Mei curled up on the couch.

Miori walked out and sat next to Mei on the couch. He threw a blanket on her and watched TV. If she tries to lie or something, I'm going to come straight out and say it, he thought.
