Good luck, I hope you find him fast or he comes home soon. Definitely understand.Federoff said:k, although I won't be posting for a bit. My brother just ran away from home when getting pissed at my mom., so I am going to be trying to find him for my moms sake
Alright, fixing it right nowG4hardcore said:Everyone's character sign up sheets look overall pretty good!
@Asylumnated - A great character sheet. Accepted.
@Federoff - Accepted. Gotta love those Poseidon kids! I will point out that manipulating ice and snow is fine, as different forms of water, but control over cold temperatures, wind and cold immunity go beyond the domain of Poseidon. At best, Percy Jackson is capable of moving snow and ice like water, but changing it's temperature and being immune are not within his capabilities. I can see him being immune to cold water, and using water particles to create wind-like gusts, such as in Percy's personal storms.
***I'd like to note that I love the idea of all these characters, however this is a detailed RP. The personality is the only thing that allows writers to flesh out their characters in this sheet (excluding the optional, but preferred History) It's essentially telling the GMs what to expect when you fill out IC posts. Before we can wholeheartedly accept these new applications, I'd like to see that it's not a problem writing something with a bit of content. I sincerely hope this doesn't deter any of you guys, thanks for your time!
Fixed it. I'm always sucks at writing a long History, ugh. Alright!G4hardcore said:Heh, definitely an interaction I'm looking forward to! After you're done you are more than welcome to post. Just a head's up, it's night time, most of the campers are in their cabins, and a bunch of campers are inside the Big House talking to Chiron about a vision. Other than that, its a pretty peaceful night at Camp for the time being. In terms of IC things will start happening once everyone gets their first post in. For now just interactions around camp and chilling.
Right. So Karen, for example, as the child of a less powerful god, can only control water (hydrokinesis) not create it (hydrogenesis). She can also raise or lower the strength of the sea breezes by manipulating the amount of water vapor in the air, allowing her to fill a boat's sails -- but not summon gusts of wind out of nowhere on a calm day, or in a dry hot atmosphere. And she'll need to study atmospheric science and understand air pressure before she really grasps the possibilities.G4hardcore said:First thing I should point out is the importance of not overstating powers. Most are fine, but for example the Poseidon children? When it comes to hydrokinesis, go to town. Things like hydrogenisis are hard because it turns a user's energy directly into water. And things like cryokinesis and geokinesis should be limited at best. Keep in mind every demigod has strengths and weaknesses, and it's not the most plausible thing to have the child of a god excel in things that are beyond that god's domain. Percy could cause considerable earthquakes and move snow and ice with competence, but he wasn't an expert in these things. If I had to guess, it's because earth is Hades domain and ice is a Boreas/Khione thing.
Fantastic! I look forward to your post!Songbird500 said:I have added more to my personality, hope its better ??
Agreed. Although on a calm day there is still moisture in the air, so I imagine she could simulate wind via bursts of humidity. Where it's dry and hot, maybe considerably weaker bursts.Arynne said:Right. (Although, re: Earth being Hades' element -- Poseidon was the God of Earthquakes, and among his his titles were Γαιηοχος, "Holder of the Earth", and Εννοσιγαιος, which means "Shaker of the Earth..." )

For those of you who have had your sheets accepted, let me revise a post I made earlier here in the OOC. I mentioned that you can be doing your own thing at camp, but... Everyone should be at the Big House along with everyone else. Assume that your character's name was called by Chiron in the first IC post. I will edit Chiron's post to call out your characters names and tag you guys and gals. Keep that in mind as you create your first posts! That means that Chiron had a vision of your character being judged guilty, for some reason, in the Judgment Pavilion of the Underworld.
Now, while everyone should be at the Big House, it can be possible that they aren't; if they heard their name called but decided (for some good reason) that they just don't want to go. Dunno why a character would do that, but it's a decision for the character him/herself to make.
For those of you who have a bit of editing/finishing, (UnspokenGodess) when you're good to go, follow the same general example.
