Infi there are so many awesome books and stuff that you could totally either find online or get at the library! (Yeah I know it's old fashioned but it's still a good resource for like mythology stuff!) I've been interested since one of my teachers introduced it to me and I've studied it on and off, then found PJO and Rick Riordan just gave such an interesting twist to Greek mythology o v o

Yeah and another fun fact:

"Soon after, Hermes crafted the reed pipes. Apollo begged for them, so Hermes made a deal with him: he would give him the reed pipes in exchange for the caduceus."

So seriously, your mistake was completely justified. C:

The series is what got me interested in Greek mythology. If you have any names of books or anything, feel free to share! xD

It's extremely fascinating, I don't blame you! cx

Oh man Infi, I have a ton of books in a box somewhere but I have no idea where that box is right now?? Next time I go to the library (which will be soon haha) I will find some books to recommend ^^

curse you terrah for accepting derrick's compliments

I think Hera would rather just attempt to kill her than take everything away...

@Yuuki Kuran whoa okay so I just did some more research and apparently there are two versions of the myth where Hephaestus gets flung down from the mountain:

In one account Hera throws him off of Olympus because he was born lame, and in another account Zeus angrily throws him off of Olympus for trying to protect his mother from Zeus' advances.

So we were both kinda right??

I heard that Hera hated that he was ugly and got rid of him because he ruined the 'perfect family' image she had

Yeah, there are lots of different accounts of different myths, just kind of depends on the one you heard I guess! I think Rick Riordan combined a whole bunch of different versions when he wrote his books as well, if I'm not mistaken.

@Pine PINE PINE PINE PINE PINE PINE

I found this when looking at a random list online

Pricus

The immortal father of sea-goats, made into the Capricorn constellation

Okay last nerd thing for now I promise

http://www.ancient.eu/Greek_Mythology/

"Without wide-spread literacy, the passing on of myths was first done orally, probably by Minoan and Mycenaean bards from the 18th century BCE onwards. This of course allows for the possibility that with each re-telling of a particular myth, it is embellished and improved upon to increase audience interest or incorporate local events and prejudices."

So that's why! ^^

Olivia: *keeps trying to get into camp* Fine! I'll blast my way in! *summons enough electricity to blackout a mall* AH!

I read that as "Look at this noodle" and was very confused as to why there was a picture of a dog there for a moment

she won't stop whining. She has no reason to whine! She's still curled up against those pillows! Occasionally chewing on her foot
