Derek kept wiping his eyes until they were raw and puffy. Damn it. Why am I like this? Holding his hands over his eyes, the son of the sky god inhaled and exhaled, blocking out the memory of the old woman with the reassuring smile at the park under a light identical to what you'd see on a football field. Derek remembered being absolutely horrified of this woman until she spoke to him with a soft, nurturing voice. "You look just like him." Derek remembered her saying in a weak voice. The woman had wild eyes, but Derek was just six and naive. He trusted anyone that said they were a friend of his mom's and knew his dad. "In fact, I know him better than most." Hera had told him, though Derek had no idea what that meant at the time. Within seconds of that moment, Derek had taken out the field lamp in that moment of nervousness and followed Hera to a cliff, where the goddess had convinced him that he was finally going to meet Zeus. Derek remembered bending over to look at the base of the cliff, where a river of blue and green flowed. Hera giggled softly. "Yes, little hero, he loves you so much. Why don't we find out if you have any other similarities to him?" In his mind, Derek remembered firm hands push him off the cliff and tumble toward the river below. Back in the present, Derek remembered how Nicanor rushed to catch him in his talons. He remembered landing safely back on the top of the mountain and his mother screaming then holding him in a bone crushing hug, looking toward the sky and thanking someone neither of them could physically see. The creature that saved him had landed nearby, but Hera was gone. A cold sweat trickled down the present Derek's spine as he came back to reality just in time for an elbow to the gut from his sister. "Ow! Aggie, what the hell?" Derek forced himself to stop shaking as he narrowed his eyes at her. Finally, it registered that his cousins were proposing a truce between the two cabins. "I do apologize to all of you. In fact, if I still had my food, I would give Hades some." His demeanor changed in an instant while speaking to the group. "What I said was highly uncalled for and I should learn to control myself. It is in my nature to want a leadership role, but leaders learn to compromise too." He held out a friendly hand, sparks flying between his fingers again. "If there was anyone that I'd want on my side on this quest, it's you. I'll have my moments, but if we are to survive in the Underworld, I'd love to hide in the shadows." Derek started to laugh. "I don't need any special attention in the domain of Hades. Nor do I want it, but it's bound to happen with as many demigods that will be going. While I am all for a truce between us, truces can only be truly discussed between cabin leaders, yes?" Derek didn't know if that was actually correct, but it made perfect sense. "I am all for a truce between us pertaining to Capture the Flag. We should enjoy this game. If we don't work together, we disband and our team shatters. The girls that turned me down will have won and I cannot stand that." Zeus' son chuckled, winking at Ivy. "All I want is to work together, win this game, and...get the first shot at Hera or any hydra we come across. Deal?"

Sebastian watched as a mysterious girl with bright blue hair stood up from her table and walked to Chiron, oblivious that she had left her notebook behind. Feeling curious and intrigued in the aura of death she emitted, Sebastian walks over to the table she was previously sitting at and snatches up her journal. He quickly makes his way to the girl and Chiron and held out her notebook with a slight smirk and said, "Hey, you. You left this at your table. Don't worry I didn't go through it or anything.. I'm not interested in what most people do in their own time anyways." Allowing his aura to strengthen so she could recognize him as a child of Hades whom he assumed she was born under also, Sebastian walked past everyone back to his spot in the corner of the pavilion and sat back on the wall.

Zanna's eyes widen out of surprise when she felt the girl hug her, she was not expecting her or anyone to do so; she decided to hug back after a second of confusion. She savored it a bit, it had been sometime since she shared a hug with anyone since she preferred to avoid physical contact with most people, the warmth felt nice. "No problem" the blind girl simply replied to Alana before breaking the hug and returning to face forward as Alana began to change the course of the conversation to all the commotion she was hearing. The girl was not surprised, not only was it Hade's kids and Zeus's kids, but most boys liked to fight over the stupidest of things most of the time. She smirked a bit while trying to suppress a small laugh at the foolish behavior of the other kids. When Alana mentioned to her that everyone should just sit at their own tables she frowned a bit. True she agreed with following the rules, and that those people should remain separated from each other; but her table was always empty when she wasn't sitting there. The only child at the Nemesis cabin she was, and so the only child at the dining table; it was kinda heartbreaking. "Do you mind if I stay here? My table is kinda lonely" Zanna asked Alana quietly after sighing a bit, she didn't want to bother the girl but she wasn't a fan of being alone most of the day.

Alana grinned. "You're definitely an exception because I...I know exactly how you feel." She took Zanna's hand. "Just please don't leave me alone with you know who." She whispered to her friend, still unsure of how Dionysus could turn people into dolphins. Alana contemplated that for a while. "That just sounds like something Poseidon could do. Dionysus should just be able to turn people into leopards." The leopard under the table raised his head, tail flicking back and forth as Alana got up again. "Can we go get armored up on our own or is that a camp thing?"

Asha grinned as Agatha waved in response to her greeting. She'd always liked Agatha - finding her one of the few campers whole actually usually put up with her pranks.

Derek always had a different means of responding to Asha "Good morning, beautiful. I hope you had a lot of rest last night. I personally didn't, but I suppose I'll just have to adjust." He said with a wink. Asha chuckled and rolled her eyes, about to retort with a sarcastic statement about him and a variety of Aphrodite girls but decided against it as Zeno too responded to her.

"I am well, thank you. I slept soundly for the first time in a while." Zeno said with a warm smile, one that Asha welcomed and reciprocated.

"I'm glad to hear that, I..."

Unfortunately, any attention on Asha was quickly taken by the arrival of the Artemis crew. Like the majority of campers, she observed them with quiet awe/irritation as they emerged from the woods. Then, making matters worse, the Hades kids showed up as well, and Asha knew any opportunity for conversation with the Zeus children had passed as an actual confrontation began. She quickly grew bored at the bickering and name calling - not enough actual action - a finally turned on her heel and walked away.

She returned to her own table for a few moments, taking food from the others plates and staring wistfully at the woods, wondering what kind of traps she could set up that might actually trap the Artemis girls - the act had proven quite difficult in the past.

Finally she stood up, her hands slamming on the table causing those around her to jump - which gave her quite a bit of satisfaction - and headed over to the growing group of campers waiting for the beginning of the game.

She was standing off to the side, drawing her arms back and forth in front of her to stretch, considering her plan for the game when s
he caught sight of Zeno.

A small smile broke onto her face, and she approached him,

"Read for this?" She asked, her hands unconsciously playing with her rings as she watched him tenderly holding his own weapon.

Ivy felt delighted at the current situation. A small smile came on her face as her brother, Alex offered the truce. She tapped the floor with her lace umbrella, whistling a tune as she tapped. She looked at Alex as he began to speak, observing him a tiny bit more, before grabbing her umbrella and chucking it between her hands.

Her smile appeared again as he accepted the truce and her brain started to plan out a way to have each member of both houses working together. She looked at Alex nodded in acknowledgement, she knew they were both thinking of the same things. When Derek winked at her, a slight warm blush began to appear, but she pushed it away. Instead returning the wink and smiling, Her eyes wide open and mouth curved slightly upwards, she twirled her umbrella between her fingers. Then she glanced at Alex as she twirled, awaiting his answer.

Zanna smiled lightly at Alana letting her stay at her table, it would be a nice change to spend the early morning with someone she could talk with for once. It was rare for anyone to really talk to her in the morning as most people stayed at their own tables or went to friends, she didn't have to many friends as she was still new to camp and Zanna was really the only Nemesis child in camp. "No worriers there" Zanna assured Alana with a whisper of her own, no way would she leave her friend alone with the slob sitting right across from them; that would just be a cruel fate to put upon anyone.

Sebastian was slowly scanning the pavilion, waiting for something interesting to happen when he decides he'd take a walk around camp and in the forest. On his way to the forest while walking near the cabins Sebastian hears what sounds like a cat screech from a nearby cabin. Instantly Sebastians eyes snaps towards where he heard the sound come from and ran to investigate. Slowing his pace as he got around to the back of one of the cabins Sebastian watched as a camper with a syringe and a clearly dead cat body walk off towards the creek. Watching the camper drop the body in Sebastian raised his eyebrow and became curious as to what he had been doing. Sebastian then runs back to the pavilion, assuming he would see him there soon enough. Noticing the camper walk in and sit down at the Hecate table, Sebastian assumed he must be a Hecate child and thought to himself Those Hecate kids have always interested me.. Maybe this is my chance to get some insight on them. Sebastian thought for a few seconds on how to approach him and decided to just be blatantly obvious about what he saw and that he was curious. Sebastian then strolled across the room to the Hecate table and sat across from the stranger and said "Hey, I'm Sebastian. Sebastian Pitmann. Oldest child of Hades here. I noticed you went to the creek with a syringe and dead cat and threw it in and im curious.. What exactly were you trying to do with a dead cat?"

Zeke looked up from his notebook when he heard someone sit down across from him, it was the oldest Hade's child of the camp, Sebastion Pitmann. He put his notebook and pen in one of his pouches located underneath the trench coat he was wearing that completely covered his body. It took Zeke a moment, allowing the boy to begin his explanation of why he was here. Zeke made a gesture with his hand for the boy o stop talking, bringing four of his fingers together to his thumb. "Yes yes I already know who you are boy" he silence him, his voice like that of a fine gentleman would have, even if somewhat muffled by his mask. "The cat was simply cured...a little too well" Zeke explained to him, keeping vague like he usually does when explaining something to people. He then preceded to give a shooing motion to him, "Now move along boy, this isn't your table and I have no time to waste, I'm already loosing most of the day thanks to these silly game" the mysterious boy finished, the annoyance creeping into his voice in the last part of the sentence.

"Cured..?"
Sebastian began before saying, "My curiosity isn't the only reason im here either.. I have a.. Proposition for you. I think I could help you out.." Sebastian then looked around to make sure no one was listening and got closer to Zeke and whispered, "Since I'm a son of Hades.. I could help you keep any future test subjects from dying on you.. Think about it, and if you decide to take me up on my offer.. You should know where to find me. I think this could be a very mutually beneficial partnership." Sebastian then stoof up from the table and walked away towards the exit and began walking towards his cabin. Once in his cabin, Sebastian grabs his multiple rings and bracelets and walks out towards the forest.

Dionysus

Mood: Surprised / With: Alana and Zanna @Yuuki Kuran, @Federoff / Location: Dionysus table

"Bad things happen to those who deserve it" Zanna cautioned.

"Threaten me again and I'll have my daughter's pet make lunch out of you." He said whilst chomping on the last of his eggs.

"I apologize, Father. That was very uncalled for. And I apologize to you, Lady Artemis. I shouldn't have blown up the way I did." She bowed her head. "Thanks for the information, by the way."

"Worry not, child. Seeing a girl with fire in her veins is nothing new for me." Artemis replied with a smile.

Dionysus raised an eyebrow, clearly at least somewhat taken aback by his daughters sudden change of heart. With all the passion she had displayed, he was almost certain she'd all but lost her sense of reasoning. As she apologized, Dionysus nodded and pushed his plate away, done with his food. The various nymphs and satyrs grew noticeably quieter, awaiting the wine god's retort. Even Artemis glanced sideways at the god, interested to see how he would react.

"Uncalled for, that's putting it mildly girl. But, let's call it momentary insanity." He gave Alana a subtle wink as if it were a clever inside joke. "You're welcome. I am a pillar of helpfulness you know, contrary to popular belief. I know the life of a demigod can be hard, especially when you are a child of a god as handsome and powerful as I am..." Dionysus seemed to be forcing the next bit out. "...I am always here, even when I'm not. As a child of Dionysus, you have a great responsibility to do great and honorable things. There aren't enough exceptional demigods, give or take a few here and there. I can't tell you how many brats complain about their godly parents when the so called victims are just as selfish."

"Do you mind if I stay here? My table is kinda lonely" Zanna asked Alana. Alana responded in a quiet voice, before speaking aloud again. "Can we go get armored up on our own or is that a camp thing?"

"Ignorance of the rules is no excuse Zayna. It's forbidden to sit at the table of another god. It's been that way since the beginning. And yes, suit up on your own if you prefer. You're likely going to need your armor. Those Hunters are something. Especially--"

"All of my Hunters are exceptional, Dionysus." Artemis interjected.

"Of course, of course," he replied, before mumbling. "Some more than others."

Artemis turned her back and rejoined Chiron and the other Hunters, not bothering with a retort of any kind. She knew exactly what he meant by his comment and thought it was rather biased.

"C-chiron i-is it ok to request that I not participate in today's capture the flag."

Chiron studied Anabel for a moment before responding.
"My dear, I can understand you may have reasons for not wanting to play, all things considered. However, capture the flag isn't simply a game we play. It's an advanced method of training that hones your skills. The things you learn here are absolutely essential to your survival as a demigod in this dangerous world. It is frightening being new to camp, the first year is often the most challenging. I'm going to have one of my best guide you through the process, including the game today." Chiron glanced around the pavilion searching for and finding his target in a matter of moments.

"Mister Vega," Chiron called out, beckoning to the son of Hebe. Turning back to Anabel, he warned. "He's much older than he looks."

Samantha Yu

Mood: Excited and anxious / With: Avalon, Zeke and Max @9forgotten @Federoff / Location: Hecate table

"Good Morning" she greeted politely. An eyebrow rose slightly in faint amusement. "Sit down if you'd like, plenty of space. I'm guessing you mean for capture the flag? I guess, it's certainly interesting to observe. Nah, everyone has a part and it's always important. Maybe you're apart of the leading group to attack, maybe not. Doesn't matter, each part no matter how small it seems adds up and helps your team overall. Don't worry, if they can make use of a 95% asleep me, then I'm sure they can have a fully awake you doing something just as good if not better. Best way to learn skills is to throw someone into sticky situations and work from there. And I guess if you want some training..." Ava paused, scrunching her nose up slightly for a moment, "well, extra training...I could give you a few pointers? Unless someone from your cabin has got that covered already."

Samantha happily obliged, unaware of any seating restrictions, and took a seat across from Avalon. "Not exactly a full house, huh? Um, hey there!" Samantha greeted the masked person who had just sat down at the table. Besides Avalon and the masked boy (or girl) sitting at the end of the table, it was bare. There was a good chunk of Hephaestus kids sitting at her table, though not as many as, say, the Hermes table. "Although from what I hear, I don't see how my dad could have so many kids," she smirked, referencing his supposed unsightly features. Only after the statement did she wonder if the gods could actually hear all their conversations.

"I think I could definitely use a few pointers. All my brothers and sisters are always busy building things, I'm not sure they even can fight! I really only just got here yesterday, and... Max almost died trying to protect me, all because I don't fight. I mean, not that I don't, but I don't know how, and well... it's hard." Samantha thought about how helpless she felt before that giant hell dog and snake woman. She remembered being frozen in terror before being rescued by other demigods. "I'd really appreciate you helping me, I'd owe you one! I guess we should get ready for this super exciting game, yeah? I heard Chiron say magical weapons are allowed. I, um, don't really have any magic weapons, but... I do have armor. I've been working on it for a while now, but I've never actually used it... wanna see it?"

"Ready for this?" Asha asked.

Zeno came out of his mindscape happy to see Asha. Anabel's influence of darkness faded as Zeno left it's range back at the pavilion, replaced by an aura of elation that Asha always seemed to emanate; her haphazardly set ponytail and comfortable outfit did nothing to detract from it. He nodded somewhat eagerly. "I have fought all my life, through necessity. How hard can this possibly be?"

He eyed the competition again. He imagined what it would be like, taking their flag and beating the Hunters for the first time. Supposedly, they were undefeated, and yet... despite himself, Zeno couldn't help but underestimate the girls. All he saw was matching jackets and arrogance, once he looked past his own overconfidence. He emptied his pipe axe and tossed it a few times; each time it came back down, he caught it deftly by the handle, despite the axe's spinning velocity.

"What makes these Hunters so invincible anyway?" He asked, glancing between Asha and his siblings.

Avalon Quinn

Mood: Easy going --> startled/uneasy--> excited | Location: Hecate Table | With: Samantha (@G4hardcore) and Zeke (@Federoff)

The green eyed girl chuckled softly, watching as Samantha sat down. She knew there were rules on where people could sit but Avalon was bored alone so she didn't mind the company. If trouble arose, she'd just say it was her fault. Glancing at her table, she could only shrug and smile some.
"I don't have any siblings here. Not that bad, kinda lonely sometimes. No biggie." she respond with another shrug. A laugh fell from her mouth as Samantha made the remark about her father getting around, giving an amused look over at the Hephaestus table. "I guess some Gods/Goddesses really get around." she teased lightly with a playful look.

Looking back down her own table thoughtfully, Avalon nearly fell off her seat as she finally noticed the masked figure at the end of her table. Blinking, she stared for a long moment.
"Well, I guess I'm not that alone anymore...I don't remember seeing him before..." she murmured to herself, eyebrows furrowing slightly in confusion. She watched the other person speak to themselves, only catching a few words here and there. A moment or two later, some other kid that Avalon couldn't name walked over. Her siblings reaction to the other guy was a mixture of shocking and unsurprising which further puzzled the tall girl.

Avalon began to feel a bit uneasy with this guys presence. She ain't sure how she knew the cloaked person was male, she just knew. She felt as if she knew him but that was quite impossible. It weirded her out that she hadn't even noticed another person in the cabin which meant they could've easily witnessed all of her...weirdness. Luna, sensing her owners uneasiness perked up and looked at her with a worried look, glancing around her to peer at the person at the end of the table.

The sound of Samantha talking brought her attention back to the person in front of her. Tuning in, she caught the last part and quickly figured out what she'd been saying while she'd been zoning out. Shifting in her seat slightly, Avalon tipped her head slightly to the side as she listened, nodding a bit here and there.

Stretching, she half forced a smile over at Samantha and nodded.
"You don't owe me anything. We're all family here so I don't mind. Plus if I'd wanted anything, I would've mentioned that by now." she said dismissing the idea of someone owning her anything. Standing up, she shifted away from the table some to stretch again. Avalon felt quite refreshed and a bit eager to actually be doing something for once that wasn't inside her usual routine. "I'd love to see your armor, I can't do anything fancy like that nor have I really see any personally made here in awhile. For weapons, they have extra weapons lying around so no worries. Do you mind if we stop by my cabin so I can grab my things first?"

dr__cipherous___arcane_steampunk_plague_doctor_by_twohornsunited-d8xmv4x.jpg

Zeke didn't even bother talking back to the boy who got up and left, his proposal was unneeded and he was quite annoying, luckily he left so Zeke did not have to tolerate anymore. He reached back for his notebook but heard someone call out to him, he sighed mentally. What was it now? He turned to look at where the sound came from, it was from a new girl, Samantha Yu. What was she doing at the Hecate table? He could of simply told her to leave but saw that she was a friend of Avalon, his sister, so she couldn't be too bad...hopefully. He slid down the empty seats and ended up next to Avalon, a small smile behind his mask. "Why good day" he chuckled lightly before raising his hand towards the girl to offer it to shake. "Zeke, it's simply a pleasure to meet you Samantha" Zeke continued his greeting, a full one eighty from how he acted next to Sebastion but only a few moments ago. His grip would feel man-made, metal with a lot of stuffing; no real force behind it for some reason. He then turned his head to face his dear sister, "And it is so nice to see you again as well Avalon, it has been a while since we last spoke hasn't it sister dear? finished the mysterious masked boy with a light-hardy chuckle, one of the few things he enjoyed with his new life was having an actual sibling, it filled one of the many holes in his life. Even though it was rare for him to admit, it was something that gave him some of the small amount of joy he contained, no matter how limited it may be.

Azrael Hunt

Though he was slightly wary of the sparks, Azrael nevertheless still took the hand and shook it firmly. Nodding and agreeing with the terms that were beginning to be struck. "And whenever I find myself too far above aground I hope to have you by my side. I'm glad we could get past these unpleasantries..." He released his own hold on the male before he turned to sit back down at his own seat. Once there, he actually began to look at the entire hall. From the children of Hecates conversing, to the lone progeny of Thanatos standing next to Chiron and Artemis looking rather meek.

Yet for the first time in a few months, Azrael found himself anxious. The Hunters were rumored to be undefeatable. Elite warriors seldom ever seen losing....

He was going to crush those rumors. Whether they be true or not. It would be a good test of skill and by the end of the day, people would know that they bleed just as well as any other being.

Once again, all irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. But living in the moment for now wouldn't hurt anybody.

While he was swimming around in his thoughts, he did notice his other Brother, Sebastian enter and then leave without even saying hi. While Azrael wasn't the most social person, he still appreciated greeting, especially from his Sibling. In the end he shrugged and pushed it away. There had to be a reason for it after all and it wasn't like he wouldn't see the male later on today."

My teammates and I have formed a truce. My gryphon might be gone, lucky for you and your girls, possibly reforming in Tartarus, but that's just temporary. I'm confident he'll be back by quest time, but for now, all you have to worry about is your girls watching their own necks." Derek warned. "I haven't forgotten the last game, goddess. You will pay for everything that happened. Just remember, I never forget those that have wronged those I care for." He was sent into a fit of giggles after that, making his way to the forest to grab his armor. Or did he have to go all the way to the armory for it? Hm...hopefully that wasn't the case. Catching up with his siblings, Derek heard Zeno ask a rather hysterical question. "Oh, Zeno, Zeno...Zeno...what makes a group of rather attractive girls dangerous is that they have the goddess of the hunt on their side." He wrapped an arm around the big guy's shoulders. "You just stick with your bro, man. We got this. Artemis is going down real quick, ma friend." The Prince of the Skies then cupped his hands around his mouth and crowed like Peter Pan, his way of showing everyone how excited he was. "Let's go, ladies! What's wrong?! Scared of a little group of girls? Man. Y'all are a bunch of slow eaters. Let's move! Hell's gonna freeze over before the game starts." He whipped back around toward the forest. "Now, where's my armor?"

Camper: Alana Jameson

Mood: Happy and relieved

Location: Dionysus table, then forest

With: Everyone normally at her table, Artemis and Zanna (@Federoff, @G4hardcore)

"He won't do that. He's too sweet." Alana grinned when Dionysus winked at her, earlier freak out forgotten almost immediately as she looked to Zanna and back again. "Thanks, but I don't have that ability, thank you very much, so unless you did something to me, I think that's just normal teen hormones." She walked around the table and hugged the God's neck, then kissed his cheek and let go, though remained standing behind him. "You're the best." She laughed when her father bragged about how handsome he was. "You know..." She sighed when he mentioned that he was always around, "Mom said that a few times while I was growing up. I get it now. I won't disappoint you." Alana's smile widened as she heard that they could suit up alone. "Alright! I'll see you there? C'mon, Sabore!" She whistled for the cat. When she didn't get a response, she groaned. "Sabore, come on." Alana bent down to look under the table. "Move your butt, now. I need you to scout ahead for traps." She watched the leopard blink and shrink back, closer to the other end of the table, growling. "Yes, I know what happened last time, but that's a mistake anyone can make." Again, more growling. "I promise that won't happen again as long as you watch where your feet are." The growling got angrier. "Okay. Okay. I know. Just calm down. Come on, buddy. You weigh as much as I do. I'm not pulling you out." She managed to grab his tail. "Come on. Please? Those Hunters cheated, or did they? I don't know the rules about trip wires in the game, but come on." Alana tugged again. "I'll be right there to cut you down this time." Dionysus' daughter reached up and took a scrap of bacon from her father's abandoned plate and held it out to the beast. "Mom would kill me if she saw me feeding animals from the table." She stood up again. "That's it. Good boy." She spoke like she would to a dog. "There ya go. Come on." Finally, the jungle cat was out in the open. "Good boy." She tossed him the bacon and smiled at those at her table. "Nothing to see here, guys. We're going." Alana turned and dashed toward the forest, Sabore on her heels.

Location: Heading toward the edge of the forest

It was great and good to see how the two cabin reached an agreement. Agatha glanced at Poseidon's table, hoping that they wouldn't feel like they are left out and joins the 'truce'. Derek challenged the Artemis and the Huntress of Artemis, pretty much back to his old self. He ran toward the forest and shout at them, telling them to move fast. "Slow down!" Agatha shouted, and can't help but to smile. She approached Zeno and pats his back. He reminded her of herself a year ago. Hopefully, he won't have the same experience as she is. Agatha fell for their trap and... Ugh, she always embarrassed when she thinks about it. "Keep your guards up. Don't underestimate them, they are practically Artemis's personal army. Fighting monsters is their daily routine."

As she walks to catch up with Derek, Agatha stopped in front of Artemis and her Huntress. She bowed her head slightly and smiled. "Uh, sorry about my brother. Boys will be boys, they said... I'm looking forward to the game." After apologizing to Artemis and her Huntress (before Artemis turn Derek into a deer or something), she ran to catch up with Derek. "I said, slow down!"

Dylan, mixed his food around on his plate as he stared blankly around at the campers. Unlike many others, the presence of the Artemis girls didn't mean a whole lot to him. He'd seen them a number of times before, and to be honest, their no leith was wearing off on him.

He wouldn't admit it had to do with the fact that everyone always seemed to be in awe of their ever present youth, while his own was youth either useless, boring, or weird to most people. He had just a little resentment related to that.

Suddenly, as if he he had known he was about to be mentioned, he looked up from his irritation and made eye contact with Chiron, just in time to hear him call his name.

Dylan's eyes lit up and he shot to his feet. He moved quickly through the crowd, his small body making his movements through the crowd - already quite agile - took no time.

"You called?" He said with a smile at Chiron and Annabel.

"You called?" Dylan asked.

"Ah yes, good morning Dylan," Chiron acknowledged the son of Hebe with a nod. "I'd like to introduce you to Miss Anabel, if you haven't already met her." Chiron was very aware of the demigod's desire to greet any and all newcomers if he could help it. "She is new to camp and would benefit greatly from the guidance of a camp senior such as yourself. Anabel, I know it's been a process for you, but I can assure you, Dylan is one of Camp Half-Bloods brightest demigods; you need not worry. Having been here almost a decade, he can answer any questions you might have. As far as Capture the Flag, Dylan I'd like you to stay close to her throughout the duration of the game if you can. The Hunters can be a bit overwhelming for those who haven't seen them in action. Thank you very much Mister Vega."

Chiron eyed the rest of the demigods, most of whom didn't exactly seem eager to trade their forks and plates for swords and shields against the Hunters. One by one, the demigods grudgingly put down their plates and began dragging their feet toward the armory before heading to the Forest. "Don't forget to don your armor in the armory if you haven't already, campers! The game will begin shortly after all demigods have gathered at the edge of the Forest, by the creek."

Chiron had to wonder if this year would be any different. He came to the same conclusion that he came to every year; only time would tell. Before Artemis could respond to Derek's display of fortitude, let alone Agatha's apology, the children of Zeus ran off to catch up with the others.

"They certainly are lively this year. Too bad it won't be nearly enough. Honestly Chiron, even my Hunters lose sight of the point of these annual games. My girls are no masochists."

"Don't write them off just yet. It is a new year; while your Hunters are without growth, my demigods have the capability to learn and develop as time passes. The benefits of mortality, I suppose. Let us join the others," Chiron stated, walking with Artemis and the Hunters toward the Forest's Edge. They came to the designated spot without much wasted time, and Chiron took the time to explain the rules of the game once more.

"Every camper who is not injured must play. The creek is the boundary line. The entire forest is considered fair game. Magic items are allowed. The flags must be prominently displayed and can have no more than two guards. Prisoners may be disarmed, but may not be bound or gagged. Killing or maiming is NOT allowed. Guards aren't allowed to stand within ten yards of the flag."

Annabel/Zeus table with Chiron (@G4hardcore), dylan (@GinjaGen)

Annabel just nodded softly every time Chiron spoke to her about dylan before she glanced at him a shy look flooding over her face before Chiron started of to the other campers. Annabel in a way was excited to meet a new person she just hoped her natural death aura didn't drive him away. "H-hi." She said quietly to him as she looked him over before looking at his eyes and waiting for him to say something as she slid just about a step closer to him and just watched

At the question, Asha actually let out a laugh, her eyes sparkling in amusement, though the laugh seemed a bit strained. "I'm glad you're confident." She said, also looking at the competition. Personally she harbored no ill will towards the . "I'm doing to let you in on a little secret." She leaned in. "They've creamed us for the last.... Uh... Since We started playing them..." She said honestly.

She watched him play with his weapon, once again impressed with his skill.

Won't have to worry about training him...

And was about to reply to his other question when both Derek and Agatha came and answered it for her before disappearing off towards the armory.

"Yeah... That... Goddess of hunt..." She said, a bit of her thunder stolen by the thunder kids.

"Uh... Yeah! But it doesn't mean we can't have fun, and that we shouldn't try!" She said, her jovial nature quickly returning as she recovered.

"Especially because this year, I've got a secret plan." Her face regained its mischievous look as she considered her idea.

Maybe this year.

With: All campers, Chiron, Annabel (@Daniel reaving )

Sebastian heard Chiron's booming voice and all the bustling campers arive at the edge of the forest and did a short shadow travel to his cabin to don his armer and grab his preferred weapons. Two pure black combat knives with the sharpest edges he could manage in the Hephaestus forge when he snuck in his 3rd year at camp. Once prepared Sebastian jogged over to the campers instead of shadow travel so he wouldnt be worn out right before the game started. He then proceeded to listen closelt from the very back and noticed the girl Annabel from earlier and walked up to her and put his hand on her shoulder and whispered, "If you need help, call my name and I'll come. I'm Sebastian."

Alex's lips twitched into a smile "Deal." he said and chose some of the armor that magically appeared for all campers to use. He tapped his skull ring three times and out came his sword, Soul Reaper. He turned to Derek "You are my co-captain, it only makes sense right?" he said and squeezed to the front of the campers. He was going to make sure with the promise to the Zeus kids that they would beat the Hunters for once in history. His cousin had appointed him the temporary leader of camp and he wanted to make a name for himself before the Daughter of Poseidon came back from her quest.

It was a nice gathering of campers that had their fighting spirits ready and raring to go.

"Alright! Listen up heroes!" He started. "This will be the first year where we will beat the Hunters." He said in the most serious tone he could muster. "Derek, Son of Zeus. Asha, Daughter of Hermes and I, will be your captains of the game." he said and scanned the area for Derek and Asha. He spotted them in the Pavilion still and felt a twinge of impatience from his ADHD acting up.

He was no child of Athena but he was already starting to form ideas in his head. This was the first time in years that Alex felt confident and he was quite happy about it.

Agatha Sthenius

Mood: Excited

Location: Pavilion

With: Everyone else

There's not much for Agatha to get from the armory, aside from body armor and one shoulder guard. Last year she wore a helmet for 'head protection', but she decided not to wear it this time. They are heavy and occasionally obstructed her view. She took off her metal ring and threw it up in the air, grinning as a sword magically appear out of it. Agatha caught it mid-air and proceed to tap her bracelet, in an similiar magical way the bracelet grew big and covered her left arm and strapped it self to her shoulder.

Before leaving, she glanced at the shields that is carefully placed on a rack but decided not to wear one this time. They are heavy and won't help her against the quick and agile Hunters. Her thick arm guard should be more than enough. Agatha is good to go now.

She stood with the campers, next to her half brothers and half cousins. Agatha watched as Alex roused the crowd. Damn, she feel really excited right now. Last year, she was really scared and slightly confused, what would happen if someone slash her head off? What would happen is someone knock her head so hard that she won't wake up? She feel silly for thinking about scary stuff like that.

Agatha make a note to her self to talk about tactics with Alex, she had several ideas in mind. Aside from that, she also want to volunteer as one of the flag guard.
