Momilani Luana

Mood: Slightly surprised, apologetic

Location: Outside Big House

With: Chiron (
@G4hardcore) & Adam ( @general ostruppen )

Momilani smiled when Chiron agreed to speaking with her for a few moments, and got out of the way so he could roll his wheelchair out onto the porch; from the corner of her eye she saw another camper, male, who was speaking to a different person who he addressed as Dionysus. He dressed in a casual manner and looked to be slightly tensed, just as Chiron kinda looked right now. Perhaps something connected to the yelling she heard earlier? What he stated next somewhat surprised her as she did not know that he had called her, if she did then certainly she would have gone with the other group immediately. She gasped slightly before bringing one of her hands to her open mouth,
"Oh, I'm so sorry Chiron, I didn't know that you called for me to come with you; I've been in the lake for most of the night" apologized the Hawaiian girl, keeping one of her hands on her long board so it would not fall and hit anyone or thing. No wonder why he looked slightly unhappy.

Alexander Pyke

It was cold. The air blew through the trees as a young man walked through the forest right outside of Camp Half Blood. He hadn't been anywhere near the bon fire or even the big house. He had been out hunting, Hunting monsters to be exact. They had been causing trouble for newcomers trying to enter camp so he dealt with them. He sighed walking back in through the barrier that protected the camp from all the evils of the world that they inhabited. He smelled the air, he could tell that the bon fire was still going on. He also heard a large commotion going on at the big house, but he would go there later on that night. He walked through the woods to the house in which was inhabited by the sons and daughters of Hades. He went inside and sat down on a bed. Engraved in the wood was the name Alexander Pyke.

Alexander walked out of his cabin. He was carrying his sword on his back. His hair was spiked up in a messy manner and his clothing was hanging loosely from his body. He took everything in, the calmness of the forest, the smell of the pine, the light breeze, and a number of other factors that made him feel at peace as he walked through the forest. He noticed a bunch of Aphrodite girls chatting as he walked down on of the many paths, but they just turned their heads away from him and kept chatting, they had already become use to the fact that he was usually depressed and probably wouldn't talk to them any ways.

Eventually Alexander reached the big house. He gave a couple knocks on the door and the entered giving those inside no time at all to answer. "Hello" he said silently and took a seat not paying much attention to who was in the room or what they were currently talking about, cause he honestly did not care. He just sat there for a moment and saw a apple sitting over on the table. He tossed it back and forth between both of his hands before taking a bite out of it. "So what was all the fuss about earlier, I heard some peoples names got called during the Bon fire and that there was something big on the go" he said simply as he sat back down in his seat looking at the few people currently in the big house

(Please correct me if I got any of the setting stuff or anything like that wrong)

Avalon Quinn

Mood: Neutral, Curious | Location: Outside walking around | With: just her dog

Standing quiet as the rest of the meeting finished up, Avalon listened respectively, baring no real opinion about any of this. When the meeting was over, Ava turned and headed out quietly, deciding not to think to much about this all for the time being. Once outside she stretched quietly, making her way down to the lake, Luna padding after her silently. Once by the water, Avalon picked a stick up and tossed it across the water for Luna to chase after. The puppy bounded into the water, charging after the stick eagerly. For the next few minutes, a game of fetch ensued before the pair left the waters edge to take their nightly walk around the huge camp.

Looping around the whole area, Avalon kept to herself, not particularly interested into talking to anyone. If someone did happen to come across her path and speak to her, she wouldn't turn the person down. Humming lightly for a moment, she glanced up at the sky to find it dotted with clouds here and there but the moon still shone through brightly. Deciding to cut the walk a bit short tonight, Ava looped back around to where all the cabins stood. making her way from cabin one, she headed over towards hers on the far end. Now and then she noticed someone else out and about doing something or nothing but didn't stop to say hello, not like she knew any of them personally and she felt a bit to awkward to randomly stop and say hi.

Sighing, she just sat down on the steps of her own cabin, leaning back and looking out at the others thoughtfully. She wondered what was going to happen next. Capture the flag was tomorrow, everything else would continue as planned and normal, nothing out of the ordinary seemed to be coming quite yet. The looming information hung over Avalon's head like a rainstorm, leaving her brooding and thoughtful about entirely random things. Her leg started to bounce slightly, unsure what to do next.

Dylan Vega

Mood: Aghast | Location: Big House | With: Other campers

Dylan listened respectfully to Chiron's comments, though his apprehension was quickly growing. It was rare for him to be involved with any kind of prophesy. His mother was Hebe, for goodness' sake. She wasn't particularly known to be active in the whole quest department. Besides, what use was he on quests? Sure, after years of practice he could fight pretty freaking well, but not as well as the Ares kids. And what powers did he have? He could make himself look older or younger... and could heal marginally quicker than a normal person.

Yippee.

Dylan became aware of an annoying sound coming from behind him. Though he was trying desperately to listen to Chiron's words for some kind of explanation as to why he was there, he couldn't take it anymore and turned to see what the obnoxious sound was.

It's probably Asha... he postulated, finding himself completely correct. He sent her a glare, but was distracted by hearing his name.

He turned back, only to hear something that started an uncomfortable feeling in his stomach. Chiron had known he was going to show up. Before Dylan even did.

This isn't good. Dylan thought, the discomfort growing as Chiron went on.

As he finished Dylan began to realize the situation. Before he could respond, others began to respond as well. One camper - a young woman of apparent asian heritage who Dylan noticed he'd never met before - noted that perhaps they shouldn't go on the quest if it was going to lead to their potential misfortune.

Dylan was about to respond when another camper - this one a dark native-looking young man - noted that their inaction could be the cause of their misfortune.

Dylan nodded, making as subconscious note to meet these new campers - he was apparently slacking on his duties - then spoke up himself.

"
I agree. We could be screwed whichever way we go." She heard Dylan say

Asha Kapoor

Mood: Confused| Location: Big House| Near: Others

isha-chawla-cute-stills-in-prema-kavali-movie-1225_600.jpg

For one of the few times in her life, Asha chose to sit still and listen as Chiron talked to the group - though admittedly she was still eating popcorn. By this point in her life, she was used to various shenanigans and quests, so this kind of mystical dream thing didn't really phase her.

Though... thinking about it, she was suddenly reminded that there was already a prophesy that pertained to her, so she found herself growing internally more and more worried, which only increased the speed of her munching.

*Chomp chomp chomp chomp*

She could feel the angry look of one particularly young looking demigod, but she ignored it, now intentionally munching louder and more obnoxiously. Dylan could metaphorically suck it.

*chomp chomp chomp*

Asha continued to idly munch as she listened to Chiron's words. Ok, so the whole campers showing up in his dreams thing was a bit beyond the norm... at least for him... but was still within Asha's level of comfort. She glanced over at Zeno to see how he was taking it but then heard Chiron mention "judgement" and the popcorn stopped halfway to her mouth, as her head swiveled towards him suddenly.

*Chomp chomp Cho-*

She listened as sounds of confusion and outrage grew in the group of campers. Asha was personally mostly just incredibly surprised. Some people spoke up, and Asha, in her shocked state, listened with interest.

"I agree with Zeno. We could be screwed whichever way we go." She heard Dylan say. He had a point...

But..."What if we did both?" She wondered out loud to herself. She wasn't scared of dying, or "being judged"... whatever that meant. She just preferred to not die if at all possible. If they split up, in theory only half of them would be screwed... preferably not her half... A much better deal.

However, before she could speak up adequately, the group dispersed and she was left with just a handful of popcorn and an uncharacteristically pensive look on her face.

Caspian "Cas" Phillips

Mood: Really freaking Confused | Location: Outside the Camp | Near: James.

233-Senior-Pictures-Beach-Maine.jpg

So... the horseman knows who I am more than I do apparently. Caspian thought, shifting back on his heels as he stood in the group of complete strangers that he had decided to follow into a house at the request of a mythical creature.

What a weird day I'm having...

He had thought he didn't know what was going on before, but as this whole event developed he realized that the mythological creatures and kids with apparent supernatural powers was not the end to the weirdness.

Apparently there was some kind of prophesy. That didn't seem to be a good thing... and apparently meant that they were all going to be 'judged.' Cas didn't know what any of that mean, but, judging by the discomfort of the group as a whole, it seemed no one else really did either... and it was making plenty of people uncomfortable.

And, speaking of uncomfortable... Cas looked up at the trident slowly disappearing over his head, that's probably not good and is probably not going to be explained to me any time soon.

And, before he knew it, the strange meeting had been disbanded. He looked around as people began walking away, wondering where the heck he was supposed to go now.

Secretly, he'd hoped to see someone else with some kind of supernatural hologram above their head, but at the moment he appeared to be the only one.

Wonderful...

Samantha Yu

Mood: Awkward / With: Max, Avalon and her dog @9forgotten / Location: Walking about the camp

As the meeting was dismissed, Samantha was left with nothing but her thoughts. She wondered about the visions and how much stake she should put into them. She was an intellectual, meaning she went by facts and numbers and probabilities. But this realm of monsters and magic was something totally foreign to her. She was out of her element completely. She made her comment at the Big House, then others began to speak as well. What Alexandra, the girl with red hair and a flat attitude, had said made her uneasy. It was like she welcomed death, and it shook Sam to her core. She hoped that redheaded girl stayed far away from her, for all her negativity. At least with Samantha, her thing was realistic skepticism as opposed to stoic nihilism. And Nate? How much he seemed to know was simply unsettling. It was like he was perfectly comfortable around the paranormal. Alex was a beacon of hope when he spoke, and Samantha wished he'd only said more, as he seemed to ease away her stress in the moment.

She exhaled and turned around, eyeing the Big House as it left her field of view, becoming smaller and smaller in the distance. She was still new, so she followed the crowd to the cabins, and the crowd led her turue. Before turning in for bed however, she decided to take Max for a stroll before crashing. She looked at the Hephaestus cabin before turning her back to it and signaling max to come with a click. The two jogged from one landmark to another, and although Sam wasn't out of shape, she was no endurance runner. A mile or more passed, and she had to stop the jog to a quick walk.

That's when Max began barking excitedly. Naturally, Sam went on edge, assuming more monsters were chasing them. She looked left and right, even up in the sky for fear of any fling sinister creatures. Her husky took off running, though towards what Sam hadn't a clue. "Max, wait up! Max!!"

The young dog ran for a bit until he got to the source of the cause. Another dog. The husky eagerly sniffed at and ran circles around this new canine, with Sam not far behind and clearly out of breath. "I'm so sorry!" She called out to Avalon, approaching with heavy feet and ragged breaths. "He normally doesn't do that, he's a good dog. Bad Max!, you can't run off like that!"

Zeno Ukwtakun

Mood: Tired / With: Asha @GinjaGen / Location: Outside of the Big House headed towards the cabins

"Well, that was certainly an interesting meeting." Zeno sighed, following the small crowd back to the cabins. He thought back to what happened in the meeting. He still had more questions, but tomorrow was another day, and he finally felt the length of the day weighing heavily upon his shoulders. He was faintly aware of Asha's loud chomping during the discussion, but he was so absorbed with the conversation it was nothing but a background noise. The young boy, Dylan, seemed to be greatly aggravated, however, there seemed to be bigger things to worry about than pet peeves. "I should think staying here might be for the best, considering I have yet to be attacked since having set foot here." Zeno spoke to Asha, yawning a bit with a hand politely over his mouth.

"Where exactly can I go to rest tonight?" There were times when Zeno had slept in trees and on rooftops, easily accessible to him after flying up in the form of a bird. Some trees were more comfortable than others. He liked to be facing the sky if at all possible, but he felt safe enough now to sleep indoors overnight. He dismissed the idea that the camp would allow boys and girls to share the same quarters, as even back in his tribe, it was simply too taboo. And yet, even as he asked Asha where he might rest, he looked anywhere except directly at her.

"Oh, I'm so sorry Chiron, I didn't know that you called for me to come with you; I've been in the lake for most of the night" Momilani stated.

"Worry not, my dear. I rarely ever have all the campers in attendance unless the need is publicly dire and grave. As it is right now..." He considered not telling Momilani the grave news. He could save her the stress and worry and having to deal with something like that. But if ever there were a time to withhold information like that, now was the worst time. It would be better if he heard it from him, then from the rumor mill. He explained to her in short, everything they had talked about during the meeting. When he finished, he studied her carefully for what he expected to be yet another negative reaction.

"I do hate to be the bearer of bad news. I know you have not been here very long, but I think it's best to be forthcoming with all the campers. In the past secrets like that cost lives. I won't have that again if I can help it. With that being said, what exactly was it you wanted to discuss?"

***

"Yes boy, you can eat. By the gods, what else do you need permission to do? You really came all this way just to ask an inane question like that? I have half a mind to have you clean the pegasi stables tomorrow!"

Dionysus huffed indignantly, then took a long swig of whatever was in his wine glass.

"I know those other demigods framed you, boy. So that'll be their punishment. I should turn their teeth into thorns and make them chew poison ivy, but I've been told that it might not be the best choice for their crime. Hmph, back in the old days, it'd have been worse. Ah, the golden age... but I digress. Eat what you like, big day tomorrow. Goodnight, Aiden Star."

With that, Dionysus shut the front door in Adam's face.

With: Chiron (
@G4hardcore) & Adam ( @general ostruppen )

Momilani listened quietly as Chiron explained to her what he had said to the others, revealing that her future, along with many others, could be in dire need down the road. Her eyes widened, looking like a deer in the headlights, "Whoa..." she began; somewhat blown away by all the information. It was kinda hard to take in, having someone say that they saw your life in potential danger in a vision of sorts, true that her little village had a seer that gave them fortunes of when to harvest, when to celebrate something, etc..., but it was nothing compared to this.

It took her a few moments to realize that Chiron had spoke to her again, asking her what it was that she wanted to discuss with him, awkwardly chuckling with a small smile when she realized that she had drifted off to her own thoughts for a few.
"Oh yes" Momilani began, "Well I've been here for about a week now, the camp is wonderful and mostly everyone seems super friendly, but I still have no idea why you brought me here, outside of you telling me that this is a place for people like myself" explained the Hawaiian girl as she let her memories flood back to that day, it was the beginning of another sunset and she was just surfing back onto the shore from another day out on the water, when she saw the man on the beach with her other family. She thought it weird as not many people came to their little island, and even fewer were aloud in as they thought it brought bad luck to them.

When she got back onto the beach she got to speak with Chiron, and after some convincing by him and her other family, she decided to go back to this camp with him. It took a long time a while to get here and during her travels she got to see many wonderful sights, each stranger then the last to her, like a giant spinning circle that lit up at night with an amazing display of lights, strange devices that people sat in to go from place to place, the list goes on and on. They were great times, she couldn't help but chuckle a bit at her behavior in the past, she must have seen like a little child at the time for being wowed by the littlest of things.

Avalon Quinn

Mood: Bored, Curious |Location: Hecate cabin stairs|With: Luna, Max and Samantha @G4hardcore

Avalon sat on the stairs out in front of her cabin quietly, the only sounds heard by her ears were the distant voices of whoever else was still out along with the faint tapping as her foot lightly hit the stairs. Luna lay at her side, head resting on her paws as she dozed some. The silence didn't last much longer as it was suddenly broken by another dog barking somewhere. Pulling herself out of her daze, Avalon blinked and looked around, trying to pinpoint the location.
"Someone else has a pet dog?" she asked aloud to herself, glancing down at her own. A moment later, she was rubbing the back of her head in a slight sheepish manner as she silently scolded herself. Of course there was, campers did bring pets along with them if they wanted to. Grumbling slightly to herself, Avalon leaned back on her hands and cast her gaze to the start night.

Everything seemed so calm and peaceful, how much longer would this last? Humming lowly for a moment, Ava's fingers drummed the porch as she sat there, her mind drifting into a daze of whatever once again. It happened often since she was alone a lot, she'd just start thinking about something and her mind would wander around aimlessly. She wondered if she should go and try to interact with the campers this year, or at least the ones whose names got called. Ava was a little unsure how to go about that though, either way, it was going to happen tonight.

Glancing over at Luna again, Ava noticed she'd sat up, ears pricked forward, gaze fastened on something unseen by her owner. Raising an eyebrow, Avalon wondered what her dog was thinking when another suddenly burst from who knows where. Jerking back slightly in surprise, scouting over some as the new dog started circling Luna, Avalon watched for a moment. Someone panting pulled her attention away from the two dogs and the dark haired girl was greeted with another girl, clearly out of breath.

A small smile formed on Ava's lips as the other girl spoke out of breath, calling her dog over to her. Offering a slightly shrug, Avalon snapped her fingers lightly. Luna barked and trotted back to her side, sitting next to her obediently.
"I don't mind, no harm done." she replied looking at the girl in front of her curiously. Tilting her head slightly, she bluntly gazed at her for a long moment. "I regretfully say that I've never seen another dog around here before...Are you new? An old camper?" she asked in a bluntly polite sorta way.

Max continued sniffing Luna as if she were a bacon wrapped steak. Then, he sniffed Avalon and stood on his hind legs to get closer to her face and lick her nose.

"Max, down!" Samantha cried, somewhat mortified. She knew not everyone exactly enjoyed things like that. Max came off of her, reeling away and deigning to lay down on his belly, covering his snout with his front paws. Samantha had a connection with canines, an unknown link of an empathic nature. Max understood how his behavior had made her feel in the moment and toned down his behavior, at least momentarily.

Samantha took a few moments to gather herself together. After regaining most of her composure, she cleared her throat and smiled politely, her hand resting on her hip. "Well, thanks! I can't tell you how many times situations like these end horribly. It doesn't happen a lot, but, well when I used to walk my dog back home in the city, he'd get excited around other dogs. I haven't really gotten him used to being around other dogs yet, and he's still a puppy. Thanks for being cool about it. I'm new here. Like, really new," She laughed, explaining that she only just arrived earlier that day.

"We actually got lost coming here and, um, ran into some pretty horrifying monsters. Luckily we were helped by a pair of demigods." She pointed to the tip of Max's tail, wrapped in bandages. "He's such a brave puppy... he stood up against those horrible things, while I just..." Sam bit her lip and stared at the tip of her Converse sneakers with shame. "Um, heh, I'm sorry. My name's Samantha. Thanks again for being cool."

"How thoughtless of me!" Chiron exclaimed. He stole a moment to glance at the stars, identifying a few constellations in the sky rather quickly. "Sometimes, I like to think demigods come here to become legends. To have their stories told for centuries and have their deeds remembered for all time. The reality is a bit less extravagant, I'm afraid. In truth, this is less of a Hollywood and more of a military camp. The main difference, however, is that we try not to put the lives of our warriors here in jeopardy if we can possibly help it. Yes, this is a training grounds, first and foremost. This place also provides demigods with ultimate peace of mind. Beyond the borders of this camp, a demigod just isn't safe."

"This is particularly true for children of the big three: Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. Your magical aura is quite potent, you see. Here, we try to give you all the tools you will need to protect yourself and, if need be, the people you care about. The life of demigods often are like candles burning at both ends. Twice as bright, but burning twice as fast. I cannot have children die, simply because they have nowhere to go. It is a miracle that you are as old as you are, and quite frankly, still alive--but that doesn't garuntee your safety. This, my dear, is why I thought it necessary for you to come to Camp Half-Blood."

He sat quietly in his chair for a few moments. "You by no means are forced to stay, but I would be remiss to recommend that course. The group I spoke to in the Big House a few minutes ago? I feel their destines are as great as they are intertwined. That includes you. I feel the Fates have much in store for you."

Momilani listened carefully as Chiron spoke, and several emotions began to flare up with in her, the biggest being confusion, surprise, and denial. It hit her like a ton of bricks, her eyes looking down and widening as she leaned against a railing for support as she thought she could not stand. "Me, a god?" she muttered to herself as Chiron spoke, still tuning in to what he was saying but focusing on that point first. "That's impossible, why would I be a god? But it does make sense at the same time, it explains how I can create water and how I speak to the animals along with the ocean... Does this mean I am a decedent of Nāmaka?" she continued in her little daze, musing over the possibility with herself. And if that was true then that means everyone else here is a son or daughter of a god or goddess, but she had never seen any of these people or heard about them before now, so how could that be?

"This is particularly true for children of the big three: Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades" stated Chiron, causing Momilani to bring her head back up and focus her sight on Chiron, "Does that mean you know who my parents were?" asked the Hawaiian girl with hope in here eyes, daring to hope that she might find out more about her parents; she never knew them personally. "And who are this Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades you speak of? I have never heard of them before" Momilani continued to speak, unable to keep her thoughts, or her mouth, to herself at the time.

"Does that mean you know who my parents were? And who are this Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades you speak of? I have never heard of them before"

"Why is one of the most fundamental questions a being can ask. But
why you are who you are is also a difficult question with many answers. The gods go by many names at any given time. It could be possible that Nāmaka and Poseidon may very well fill the same niche in their respective faiths. Although to say they are one and the same, may not exactly be the case." Chiron let the information sink in before continuing again, doing his best to make sure that Momilani's questions were answered.

"I know that you are the daughter of the Greek god of the seas, Poseidon. His brothers, Hades; god of the Underworld, and Zeus; Lord of the skies. These three gods rarely have children, but when they do, they are often quite powerful demigods. There was another child of Poseidon quite some time ago who was quite legendary. He went by the name of Percy Jackson; he wasn't a hero because of his abilities, but rather, what he chose to do with his abilities. I hope that you consider the kind of person you want to be in the future, for all I know is that your future is uncertain. With that being said, I must bid you goodnight. It is rather late, and it would be a good idea for you to rest on what I've said. If you are up to it, a game of capture the flag will commence tomorrow after breakfast. Rest well, Momilani, daughter of Poseidon."

With that, Chiron wheeled inside the Big House and closed the door behind him. Overhead, the light of the moon shined down on the camp as most entered the domain of Hypnos.

As the sun came up, Camp Half-Blood stirred, slowly but surely coming back to life. Breakfast began as usual, just north of the cabins at the Dining Pavilion. Situated on a hill overlooking the sea, there were no walls or ceiling, but rather Greek style columns surrounding the perimeter. Torches on each pillar provided extra ambient lighting, along with the rising sun. Tables covered in purple-fringed white tablecloths circled an unlit bonfire, with a few campers already there; they were arranged that each cabin had their own table to dine at. Morning dew clung to the grass around the pavilion, and the cool, crisp air smelled of syrup and bacon, along with a number of breakfast items.

Mood: Sleepy, excited.

Location: Arrived in the Dining Pavillion

With: Everyone (?)

Agatha only get three or five hours of sleep, maybe because she's having a hard time sleeping thanks to Chiron's bad news, or because she ended up staying until late at night to finish her Oliver Twist book. She made a mental note to return it to the Athena camper who borrowed it to her. Maybe she will also let her borrow her translated version of Moby Dick next. She stood up, take a quick bath and brush her teeth before leaving toward the Dining Pavilion to eat some breakfast. On her way to the pavilion, she can't help but to hum a popular Human pop song happily.

Today is the day of the of the game. And Agatha is really excited because she always like this kind of war game. It's not all about fighting, but also about making decisions, forming a plan, and leading a team (or an army. Whatever). When she got to the pavilion, several campers are already there and Agatha could also see quite a lot of wood nymphs moving around to prepare food and to serve it at the campers. Agatha went and sit at Zeus's table, it feel so empty without her half brothers in there or her half cousin in the other Big Three table. No one is here yet, but they will.

A wood nymph approached her and placed a plate filled with bacon, cheese, two pieces of toasted bread, and a small pack of butter in front of her. Agatha thanked and smiled at the nymph, thanking her for the food and for memorizing what's her favorite breakfast menu. The nymph smiled back at her and leave her to enjoy her food. Agatha placed her hand on the goblet, and commanded, "Warm milk, please."

The goblet then magically filled with warm milk, Agatha took a sip of it and it tasted fresh and a little bit creamy. Just what Agatha liked the most.

Mood: Well rested but groggy.

Location: Arriving at the Dining pavilion

With:Everyone

Luna woke to the sun shining brightly down on her face and felt herself squinting before she held her hand in front of her eyes, attempting to block out some of the light. Although she loved sleeping outside at night the sun always made her feel groggy after and she disliked mornings the most. Climbing down from the roof she made her way indoors and took a quick glance around the cabin. Taking a mental note of everything it seemed Luna was the only child of Nyx and in turn made her decision of sleeping indoors easier. Despite last nights news Luna was able to have a good nights sleep and felt both rejuvenated and sluggish. This was a common problem with Luna and would often make her either late for school or way too early. Making her way to the bathroom she took a quick shower before getting changed and cleaning her teeth. Luna picked up the sunglasses she had brought with her the days beforehand and stepped outside, shutting the door behind her she placed the glasses on her face before facing the morning light. Luna had overheard some other campers talking about the game capture the flag the night before and was curious to find out what it was all about. She assumed being at a camp full of demi- gods it wouldnt be your common garden variety game of capture the flag which only made it that ever more interesting to Luna. While walking Luna saw other camp mates making their way somewhere and decided it be best to follow. She still hadnt gotten used to the infrastructure of the camp yet so didnt know where everything was. After following some campers she arrived at the dining pavilion and glanced around at the campers as they ate and the wood nymps as they served. She still wasnt used to seeing mythical creatures such as those wander about uncaring and Chiron himself still freaked Luna out a little. Luna wasnt sure where she should sit and wandered around a bit before noticing a young girl at Zeus' table, despite how new she was to everything even she had realised what it meant to be a child of one of the big three. Sitting down at a table Luna watched the Zeus child from under her sunglasses before a nymp came up to her asking her what she wanted to eat. Glancing up Luna cautiously asked for some egg and toast and after the nymp smiled at her and walked away she went back to watching the other camp mates.

Avalon Quinn

Mood: Faintly amused, content then unsure|Location: Hecate Cabin|With: Samantha, Max @G4hardcore and her dog then alone

Avalon blinked as the other dog licked her face, a light laugh sounding from her as she looked over at the other girl. Her had tipped to the side curiously as she watched the young dog interact with his owner, wondering why he acted the way he did from a simple command. Shrugging to herself, her green eyes flicked back to the girl in front of her as she spoke, only smiling easily as she explained Max's behavior briefly. It didn't really bother her, just more or less amused her.

An eyebrow arched up slightly at the mention of her being incredibly new.
Ah, so she must be one of the ones who just got here today...poor her, what a bad day to show up Avalon thought to herself. Watching the other dark haired female in front of her as she explained a bit, Avalon just nodded slightly, knowing vaguely how she felt. "Well welcome to Camp Half-blood." she said deciding to stand up. Moving down the stairs, she stopped in front of the pair. Luna remained where she now lay comfortably, up on the porch.

"As for monsters...you'll get used to them. Not saying they won't be less scary, some might, most probably not. But anyway, don't worry about not being able to do much yet, that's what this camp if for. You'll learn new skills, train hard, all that fun stuff. If you need help, I or anyone else is around to help. Although to be fair I don't often come out from my cabin..." Ava paused as she trailed off for a moment. "Seriously gotta work on the whole getting out to interact with people." she mumbled more to herself than Samantha.

Waving her hand and shaking her head, she grinned her usual lopsided grin.
"I'm Avalon, Ava or Av for short. Daughter of Hecate, pleased to make your acquaintance Samantha. I promise I am not at all this normal around people." she said, introducing herself with a smile as she poked some fun at herself. Stretching some, Ava glanced up at the sky, trying to gauge what time it was now. "Anyhow...it's getting a bit late now I think. I hope you like it here." she said a moment later.

Moving back up the steps, she paused to ruffle Luna's head, waking the dog up from her slumber.
"I'll see you around" that is if I ever leave my cabin. "Stop by sometime too if you want" yeah that'd probably be better anyway. "Have a good evening"

Disappearing inside, Avalon retreated for the night, heading back to her bed after only waking up a couple hours prior. Flopping down, she lay awake for sometime before sleep finally consumed her. The next time her eyes opened, it was morning and the smell of breakfast heavily scented the air. Stetting, Avalon got up and shuffled around, showering and getting ready for the day. Once ready, she didn't exactly leave her cabin right away. She mucked around, picking up a bit here and there but mostly wasting time, not actually sure if she wanted to head down to the Dinner Pavillon or not.

Camper: Derek Newman

Mood: Sleepy, yet excited and anxious

Location: Cabin One, but on his way to the Dining Pavilion

With: His siblings minus Agatha

"Yo! Y'all need to get up!"
Derek hollered as he woke up and threw on a Camp Halfblood t shirt and black gym shorts. As he was tying his white and orange Reeboks, he looked back at his siblings. Not getting a response was normal in the mornings with these guys. "Alright, I'll see you guys down there then, but hurry up! Aggie already left and we have Capture the Flag later." Tempted to shock his siblings awake, electricity surged in between his fingers like the webbing on a frog. Shutting the door behind him, and with Keravnos beating against his leg every time he took a step, Derek trudged toward the Dining Pavilion, stopping the surge of power dancing between his fingers. A few minutes later, Derek was at the pavilion and sure enough, his sister was there. He gave her a sneaky smile and sat at the other end of Zeus' table. A nymph came around and placed a plate of food in front of him, stacked with pancakes drenched in butter and maple syrup and a side of the juiciest bacon he's ever had. "Yeah, baby! That's what I'm talkin' about!" He thanked his waitress and hastily began to dig in while simultaneously trying to fix his wavy hair. "Sunny D, please." He told his cup, watching it fill with the orange juice. Derek chuckled to himself. Without his mom around, he didn't have to drink at least one glass of water at each meal. He was free! His face was now sticky from the syrup. Wiping it off, he looked around, again smiling at Agatha and saying nothing.

Camper: Alana Jameson

Mood: Nervous but determined to prove herself on the quest

Location: Dionysus' table in the pavilion

With: No one, but waiting for Mr. D

"Grape juice, please."
She told her cup. Without even a glance at the wood nymph as she was given her plate of toast and eggs, Alana removed Gut-Wrencher and her jar of strawberries from her pockets and placed them on the table, depressed about the lack of siblings she had. "Great. We can play Capture the Flag and forget that we're all gonna die on this quest. Do we even know what we're really dealing with? No. Do we remember about the whole three demigod per quest rule? No. Instead, the whole camp is going to die." She thanked the nymph under her breath tried to eat, still thinking about Persephone's garden. She'd heard so many things about it that she still didn't believe she could control it. That's what she would discuss with her father, whether he wanted to talk about it or not. He was going to listen and answer all of her questions. He owed her that much. Fixing her own Camp Halfblood t shirt and blue jean shorts, she stared down at her purple sneakers with a groan. Again and again, she'd tried to skim every book of translated text she could find, but only found the basic descriptions of the mystical garden deep below this camp. She couldn't find anything about Dionysus ever being involved with the garden either, just that Demeter could control it along with her daughter. "That's it. I'm dead. These campers are gonna die because I'm practically useless!" Alana found herself shouting and prayed to the gods that no one noticed.

    Mood: Groggy, Hungry,

Location: Nemesis House -> Dining Pavilion

    With: Alana Jameson
    (@Yuuki Kuran )

Zanna awoke to the sound of her alarm clock, slamming her hand on top of the clock to silence the slightly annoying alarm. The girl yawned and began to stretch a bit in her bed before sitting up and swinging her feet over the end of the bed to touch the ground. She got up and began to slowly head over to the shower, since she had been in her cabin for many years she had memorized where exactly everything was and made her ow, blind, routine. Slowly she trudged over to the shower, putting on some of her orchestrated music before turning the shower onto the coldest setting to help her wake up, she definitely was not a morning person. The blind girl slowly stripped herself of her clothing, not having to worry about prying eyes as she was the only nemesis child at camp at the moment, before getting into the shower.

"EEEP!" she cried out to herself from the shook of the cold water, only having herself to blame for the shock. Either way though, it did the job and she began to become more awake as she finished taking her shower. When finished she turned off the water and got out, taking the towel from it's usual spot before drying off. Zanna picked up her clothing before walking out of the bathroom and back into her bedroom and placing her dirty clothes in the laundry basket before heading over to her closet and grabbing a fresh new set of her clothes. She had many sets of the same clothing already pre-made and on the hanger so she just had to take the hanger and put on her clothes, something she learned to due from her childhood to cope with her blindness.

As soon as she finished she turned off her music and gathered her stuff for the day, including her purple sunglasses that she always wore to hide her eyes from others, and went out the door; grabbing her heart necklace off the hook and putting it on as she got outside, closing the door behind herself before taking off to the Dinner Pavilion.

Upon her arrival into the Pavilion the smell of a fresh breakfast hit her, causing her stomach to growl lightly as she realized that she was starving. Zanna got a plate of bacon, toast, an apple and a cup of Espresso. Once she got the drink she took a long drink of the Espresso, ending with a satisfied sigh. As she took her drink though, she heard someone complaining out loud about playing capture the flag, people dying, and the quest that Chiron had talked about last night. She turned in the direction of the noise and began to start walking over there, clicking her tongue lightly to help her navigate her way through the somewhat empty Pavilion.

"Everything alright?" Zanna asked the mysterious girl, thinking that she had probably been their last night but had not spoken up over there as she didn't remember hearing her voice. She decided to play innocent for now as she already guessed she was distraught about last nights grave news.

Zeno Ukwtakun

Mood: Alert and hungry / With: Agatha and Derek / Location: Zeus Table

With a little bit of help, Zeno had eventually found his way to his cabin the night before. He saw he wasn't alone; a few other demigods had taken to lying down in various corners of the rather bare looking cabin, majestic though it had been. He'd found himself face to face with the likeness of his father, and he didn't know what he felt at first, staring up into the lifeless marble eyes towering above him. He eventually settled himself into a corner far away from Zeus' all seeing gaze. He couldn't help but wonder if Zeus was looking at him now. Was he proud of Zeno? Was his where he wanted his son to go? Did he even care? Just where was he, what was he doing at this very moment?

The questions swirled around in his head as he slowly drifted to sleep. Hours drifted on by, and before he knew it, it was morning. Instead of gently waking to the sounds of birds chirping, he was woken by something quite different.

"Yo! Y'all need to get up! Alright, I'll see you guys down there then, but hurry up! Aggie already left and we have Capture the Flag later."

Zeno wasn't exactly sure who the boy was, being himself new to camp, but he woke up quickly enough and finger combed his hair into place without much thought behind how he looked. He brushed his teeth and freshened up, changing into an orange shirt given to him by one of the campers. It wasn't his style, but he figured blending in was a good bet. He put on a jean jacket over the shirt and departed, trying to follow the crowds of campers coming to the breakfast pavilion. The smells were certainly great. He looked around, and after almost sitting down at the wrong table (quickly earning him a bunch of blank stares and a reprimand from one of the senior campers) he found his way to Agatha and Derek's table.

"...Good morning, all. I do not think we were formerly introduced, ah, I am Zeno. It is nice to meet... siblings, yes? I never even knew I had any, until yesterday night... Heh, so what is this I hear about Capture the flag?"

Samantha Yu

Mood: Curious / With: Other Hephaestus kids at table / Location: Dining Pavilion

The other kids of the Hephaestus cabin were generally pretty friendly. They mostly kept to themselves, but that didn't give Samantha any sense of hostility. She rather enjoyed having some time to herself, and if she asked about any of the gadgets and gizmos lying around the cabin, her siblings were all but eager to explain their functions. They shared a lot of common ground. Samantha didn't end up going to sleep until past midnight, and when morning rolled around, it was torture forcing herself to wake up. She'd have much rather slept in for a bit longer, but she ripped herself from the comfortable bed the Hephaestus kids had prepared for her and got ready for the day. She looked at the mirror in the bathroom, washing her face and looking for pimples. After brushing her hair into a rather loose ponytail and changing into a fresh set of clothes (a white tank top and knee-ripped black jeans) she found herself at the proper table.

There seemed to be a solid amount of Hephaestus kids, all various ages. "Dad keeps busy, I guess. I don't think I'll ever get used to that--having a god for a parent, I mean," she explained to her siblings. A few snickered, and one boy told him she'd eventually just get used to it. After having the rules of breakfast explained to her, she hesitantly asked her cup for some orange juice. It was strange--asking her cup to fill itself, but miraculously, it did. "That's incredible!" She exclaimed, surprised.

A nymph put down a plate for her and she dug into the French toast and sausages put down before her like a famished dog. She wasn't the most well mannered girl, but what she lacked in etiquette, she made up in ignorance of etiquette. Samantha was faintly aware of the sounds of a distressed camper shouting a bit, but only between her own chewing and swallowing. She was halfway done with her food when she noticed Chiron approaching in the distance with Mr.D.

Alana quickly bit her lip, shrinking in her seat as she saw Hecate's daughter with a stick in her hand coming toward her. At first, her instincts told her to take out Gut-Wrencher and fight, then she calmed down, hearing the young woman's question. "Course everything's alright. Why wouldn't everything be alright? We're in the safest place on Earth for demigods." Once her grape juice was gone, Alana replaced that with orange Kool-Aid and remained silent for a short time. "Actually, everything's not alright. What are we gonna do? If someone gets hurt on this quest, we don't have any Apollo campers going." She curled her lips, savoring the taste of her beverage on her lips. "And what about me? I'm a decent fighter, but I'm not sure about Persephone's garden reacting to me. Alana's face hit her table, and she moaned pathetically.

Derek kept chowing down on his food, ignoring what was around him, until his view was blocked by a boy about his age with tan skin and long, dark hair. "Oh! Look who's up! Good morning, Sleeping Beauty." He took another bite of pancakes and chugged another cup of Sunny D. "Yeah, we're your siblings. I'm Derek. Wonderful day, isn't it? The sun is shining, the sky is blue and the breeze is wonderful. Perfect day for Capture the Flag. Our team's gonna win, am I right?" He held up a hand to Zeno for a high five, the spaces between his fingers lit up with electric sparks of white light in response to his attitude. "But, seriously, are you ready for the quest?"

Mood: A little bit sleepy, very excited

Location: Zeus's table, Dining Pavillion

With: Derek Newman (
@Yuuki Kuran ) and Zeno Ukwtakun (@G4hardcore )

Agatha was eating her breakfast when her half brother, Derek, arrived. He sat at the other end of the long table and smiled several times at her. Agatha smiled back. He's probably just as excited as she is, who wouldn't? It's the Capture the Flag!! Agatha happily finished her breakfast, and that's when Zeno comes in. He's a new camper, a newcomer. He is taller and bigger than her, add that with his sharp gaze and Agatha started to think that he might be older than her. Or at least, that's what she thought. Derek is younger than her (Despite being her senior in the camp), it'll be great to know that she have an older (half) brother now. He greeted them, introducing himself as Zeno, and proceed to asked some question. As Derek greeted him back, Agatha moves closer to his brother.

"Mornin'! I'm Agatha. Capture the flag is like, a mock battle between two teams. Everyone in camp, aside from those injured or sick, had to join the game." Agatha grinned, and patted Derek in the shoulder. "Of course we are going to win. Let's crush 'em hard."

Mood: Electric / With: Derek and Agatha/ Location: The Dining Pavilion's Zeus table

"Oh! Look who's up! Good morning, Sleeping Beauty."

Sleeping Beauty? Zeno's brow furrowed as he struggled to understand why Derek would call him that. He couldn't fathom why, and so merely shrugged it off as some strange American saying and sat down at the table. He could only assume it had something to do with his being last to wake up, unless there was some other Zeus child he didn't know about. He studied the faces of his kin. A boy and a white haired girl, both probably at least within 5 years of his age. They both seemed lively, like they were getting ready for something big. He could literally feel the electricity in the air between them.

"Yeah, we're your siblings. I'm Derek. Wonderful day, isn't it? The sun is shining, the sky is blue and the breeze is wonderful. Perfect day for Capture the Flag. Our team's gonna win, am I right?"

Zeno didn't hesitate to agree that it was indeed a beautiful day today, cool morning air included. He nodded in agreement, taking a moment to take in his surroundings; he felt a certain oneness with the environment--with the very atmosphere itself. Could it have anything to do with being son of the King of the sky? Zeno felt it was deeper than such loud titles. Once again, his brow furrowed as he wondered about this capture the flag thing. Another American thing, probably. "Well met, Agatha, Derek. A battle you say? We are to fight each other? Who exactly are we crushing?" Before Zeno could acknowledge the quest, the shadow of a presence behind him gave him pause.

Chiron_2.jpg

Chiron

Mood: Hopeful / Location: The Dining Pavilion, Approaching the Zeus table / With: Derek, Agatha, and Zeno

Chiron approached the Zeus table alongside Dionysus. Today, he was dressed in a traditional Camp Half-Blood t-shirt, and wore a grin. The wine god wore a giraffe print shirt and cargo shorts, like it was the fashion statement of the century. The two split off as Chiron came to the Zeus table and Dionysus approached his own honorary table, where Alana was already sitting--and talking to another girl with shades on.

"We are to fight each other? Who exactly are we crushing?" Chiron overheard Zeno ask his brother and sister.

"I can answer that," he replied amiably. "It is a simple enough concept and long-standing tradition amongst the demigods here; there are two teams whose goal is to steal the other team's flag. The winner is whoever carries their flag across the boundary line first." He spoke with his hands, and slowly, that any newcomers could hear him well. He finished speaking, talking as if he were going down a list.

"Every camper who is not injured has to play. The creek is the boundary line. The entire forest is considered "fair game." All magic items are allowed. The flags must be prominently displayed and can have no more than two guards. Prisoners may be disarmed, but may not be bound or gagged. Killing or maiming is NOT allowed. The punishment for breaking this rule is loss of dessert for one week. Guards aren't allowed to stand within ten yards of the flag."

"As some of you are aware, every year we hold a game with very special guests. Our honored guests, the Hunters of Artemis, will be returning shortly for the 86th annual game of capture the flag."
Some of the campers groaned in protest at the very mention of the Hunters. "Don't be discouraged! Remember, the point of the game is ultimately to learn survival techniques and improve your skill. Who better to learn from, than the Hunters? ...I know it's been a long time since the Hunters have lost a game. Just try your best to represent the camp, and we will all walk away victorious!"

Dionysus plopped down at his table. As soon as he did, random nymphs and satyrs crowded the table around him, taking up every seat save for Alana's spot. He ordered a wine-colored drink in his glass and began chowing down on eggs and bacon.

"Try not to embarrass me, Alyssa. As a child of the great wine god, you have a reputation to uphold."

Zanna remained silent as she listened to the girl vent to her, after denying that anything was wrong, about her worriers about what could happen on the mission, saying that she might as well be absolutely useless in the underworld. During her talking she decided to sit down next to her, taking a few more sips of her hot coffee and a few bites of her breakfast, it wasn't anything special but it was more then enough for her. She nodded her head a bit as she mulled over, in her head, what Alana had spoken, she had a similar understanding of what it was like to not be able to do something and the feeling of uselessness; it was a feeling she knew all too well of.

After finishing the last of her coffee, she placed her cup down before speaking,
"Nothing is certain, we will just have to go with caution" the blind girl started before pausing to finish off the last of her toast, and after swallowing she began once again. "You'll be fine, and if you end up not being able to use your powers then you will have to find another way around that obstetrical, just like I have" Zanna finished staring at Alana behind her purple sunglasses as she did so, this way she could track her easier then if she was facing her plate as unlike her food, people liked to move a lot and it was hard to keep track of everything at once, even more so as people began to fill up the tables. A few moments after she spoke, the "great god of wine" himself came to sit down at the table, she rolled her eyes under her shades at the mans statement; he wasn't very helping.

Derek couldn't keep the smile from his lips at such close contact with people exactly like him. Hearing his sister's enthusiasm over their favorite game, he reached around and hooked his arm around her neck, kissing her cheek. "Glad to know I'm not the only one. Let's light 'em up together! Those hunters won't know what blasted 'em until it's too damn late!" Derek had his own personal vendetta with certain hunters, after all. He'd hardly ever been told 'no' as a kid, so getting shut down by several archers left a bad taste in his mouth. Of course, in his uncontained excitement, more electricity danced between his fingers. Unfortunately, he didn't get a chance to explain things to Zeno, because their favorite centaur pal cut into the conversation. "Aww, come on, Chiron. Have you no faith in me? You just ruined the best part. Z was just about to get the exciting explanation rather than just the verbal one." One might have mistaken Derek for being high on something for how much energy he had, if he weren't one of the most powerful people in the planet, even more powerful than the president! "But, alas, that's life. Yes, Zeno, it's the best game on this planet, and this is comin' from a handsome guy that played soccer as a handsome kid. He was still clinging to his sister at this point, though he was only vaguely aware of his arm over her shoulder. "Hey, Chiron, can I be captain? Please? I promise to let other people show off this time."

Alana was in a fairly good mood after such reassuring words from her friend, but that all changed as soon as the portly party God sat at his table and addressed her...or who she assumed was supposed to be her, considering the old fart didn't use her real name. Really?! Her of all the kids at camp that he could butcher the name of and he chooses his own first thing after Hypnos retired from his shift. See what I have to put up with, Zanna? Then, inwardly but directed at her father, she scowled. "It's Alana and you know it. A-la-na." She wanted very much to curse her mother out. The woman was right about this guy. He got her mother drunk and then Alana happened. "I'll talk to you later, Zanna. Thank you so much. It really helps." Now calm, Alana got to her feet, circled the table, and hugged the blind girl. "You're awesome." Why she did this, Alana had little to no clue, maybe because Zanna was the first kind face she'd seen today. Alana sat back down, but traded places with a nymph so that she could be as far from.the god as possible. The nymph seemed more than willing, actually. "Such kind words, Mr. D." She grinned, though it was very painful. "Good morning to you too." With Gut Wrencher poking a hole in the table cloth, Alana imagined it stabbing through her father's cheek. "Now, Father..." calling this pathetic man her father made Alana gag inwardly, "let's chat. Honestly, if you care anything about the gods, this family, this camp, my mother or me, you'll help me out. I need to know whatever you can tell me about Persephone's garden. Will I be able to use it?" Why aren't you going, old man? Is the great Dionysus scared? "Or am I just going to have to use this dagger the whole time?" She held the dagger between her fingers, spinning it.

Agatha laughed when Derek kissed her cheek. At first it was weird and awkward, but Agatha slowly understand that this is one of the way siblings do to each other to show much they care to each other. She only nod when Derek talked about kicking the Hunters butt. She had never faced them before, but from what Chiron, Derek, and the other campers have said and looking at their winning record, it is seemed that they are quite a formidable opponent.

She listened to Chiron's explanation, obviously better than Derek's. That was the same explanation she received 2 years ago, the night before her first game.

"You, captain? If the Hunters are as good as i heard they'll took our flag in a minute or two." Agatha remember last year's game, with Derek as the captain for the team. It was chaotic. Agatha pointed at her self, grinning. "Let me be the Captain this year, Chiron. I'll try my best to beat the Hunters!"
