Theo's shot goes a little too wide, and you make a clean miss.


Bugs 13-15 raise their rifles and fire on Theo, since he is the last one to make an attempt to hit them.


Keith swears as the bugs around him continue to swarm. "These things are just pests! Lets swat them!" Continuing to focus on keeping the shuttle bug free, he fires on #2 with his tri laser, doing minimal damage to it.


The two bugs attacking the shuttle continue to do so, carving into its hull with their melee weapons. The shuttle is taking some damage, but it is still descending down to recover the three marines.

"This is beginning to irk.", Alexander growled as he tracked the bugs clambering across the hull. Everywhere, his comrades were being swarmed by the bug-people, but he focused on the task at hand, getting the shuttle landed. He angled again to get a better bead on the bugs on the vessel and fired again.

Bug 2 goes splat from a Alex's aimed fire, taking more of the heat off of the shuttle.

"Remember those old Clark pest control commercials," she asked as she lined up another shot at another bug, "where the hapless female would call the clark man to save the day?" She fired.

Cat pulls the trigger and instead of the expected roar of the cannon, it clicks as red lights come on, signaling a malfunction. It will take an action to clear the breech and be able to fire again.


The three marines on foot break into a run as they head to where the shuttle is coming down. As they run, they open up on the one bug still carving into the shuttle's hull. Between the three of them, they manage to blow the thing off of the side of the ship.


At the side hatch, the door opens wide and a couple of men are at the edge of the hatch, one is manning a laser machine gun on a pivot mount. He begins to spray heavy suppressing fire into the tree line, trying to keep the bus away from the soldiers and the shuttle.

Bugs 13-15 turn on Theo in his hover tank, firing bursts from their rifles.


Keith shifts his fire to bug 11, but he shoots wide and misses. "Dang it! Little buggers are hard to hit!"

The three marines on foot continue their mad dash to the transport shuttle, not worrying about anything but raw speed. One by one, they dive head-first into the ship. From the ship, you get the following, "Spartans! We have our passengers secured and are boosting out of here! We'll be nearby if you run into any other survivors, but for now, we are gone before we become bug-food."
