Max gave a small nod and smiled softly "I see, well I can't wait to meet them all." She said softly to him kissing his cheek. She frowned softly when Charlie came in feeling a sense of power coming off of him.

Charlie frowned as he walked into the kitchen seeing Travis sitting there with his mate shaking his head some and pointing at the stairs "Get upstairs, if you're hungry we'll bring you food. The two of your are not well enough to be down here." He said and shook his head as Travis tried to stand but failed

He eventually gave in and just headed back up with some help to get back up to their room. “You look confused.... I know I’m older but my brother is in charge around here. He won the alpha challenge from me when our father died.” He told her quietly, already worn out from the excursion.

carmen got back late into the evening with a couple bags from some late night shopping she had done, heading up to her room and finding Charlie laying in bed watching tv. “Hey... I got you a couple things.” She smiled some, going to their bathroom to wash up for the night. “How’s travis and that girl doing?”

Max helped Travis up the stairs still confused as to why his brother had such a power over the two of them. She gave a small nod though as he explained cupping his scarred cheek gently "Is that where you got this from?" She asked softly while he pressed his face into her hand

Charlie made his way up to bed after he checked over all the houses. He gave a small smile when he saw Carmen come into the room and rubbed the sleep from his eyes as he had just woken up from a small nap "Oh yeah? What did you get?" He asked as he got up and made his way into the bathroom to splash some water on his face "They're fine....for now Travis is wiped out and needs to rest for the next day or so. His mate seems fine, we need to train her though...I was wondering...maybe you could help her out some?" He asked seeing as Carmen was the only female in the house who could really help her.

She smiled some making him go back out to thwart bedroom and grabbed one of the bags, “well... a present for both of us.” She laughed some as she started changing into the lingerie she’d picked out but groaned at Charlie’s suggestion. “It doesn’t need to be a female yknow... I don’t like people.” She reminded him. “And I don’t promise to be nice or patient.” She muttered, coming out to show him the new set she’d chosen, leaning against the doorway. “You can turn around now.” She smiled watching his reaction.

he shrugged a little. “No. But it’s from one of the times. We were arguing and it led to a physical fight out back. We had a big bonfire going and we got too close. He wouldn’t let me move away though and he burnt my face.” He explained to her with another shrug. “He won’t be particularly happy that you’re here and a were. Not to say my brother would like to see me dead but he doesn’t want to lose his alpha position. Now I have truly mated, it’s just about waiting for the right time to take his place. My birthright.” He pointed out.

Charlie stepped out anf kept his back turned to the door "True, but you'll be better at teaching her how to be a good mate and how to do things right." He explained before he turned around and his jaw fell open "Holy shit....." he muttered before he went over and picked her up kissing her roughly

Max gave a small nod and kissed him lovingly "I'm here to help you and be by your side my love." She murmured before she moved to straddle his waist "I love you." She said quietly to him

She frowned and pulled back, “I don’t want to... she’s all puppy dog eyes about all of this and I don’t trust her.” She grumbled “I don’t promise to be nice to her.” She muttered, dragging him back to the bed to put the new lingerie to use.

he smiled and pulled her down, kissing her softly. “I love you.” He murmured. “We can go down and get your stuff when I’m back on my feet.”

Max gave a small nod and kissed him again "Mm that sounds good." She said quietly to him "So you're an alpha as well?" She asked softly wanting to try and learn all of these things about the wolves.

Charlie chuckled some "Fine by me, thats why I want you to show her how it really is." He murmured before he got down to business with her. He panted softly as he rolled off of her and smiled some "Mmm definitely keep those, might be my new favorites."

She raised an eyebrow and curled in close, pulling their blankets around them. “Are you giving me permission to be harsh to keep her under control?” She laughed kissing his cheek and taking his hand in hers tightly.

he shook his head. “Not right now I’m not. But it’s generally passed down through a family. If two siblings don’t leave the pack. Either can become alpha. And often jts a fight to find out who. I plan to take it back from my brother as soon as I can.” He told her kissing her gently

Max gave a small nod and cuddled him close "Oh? Would you not want to start a pack of your own?" She asked softly tracing patterns on his bare chest smiling some sighing softly

Charlie chuckled some "Not too harsh, but get her in line, show her how to do things right." He murmured giving her a quick kiss before he yawned

“Yes sir.” She smiled, draping her arm across his chest and tangling her legs with his as she drifted off to sleep.

he shook his head. “This is my family. I would never leave them behind.” He explained justly, kissing her nose gently.

Mac gave a small nod before she started to drift off and finally fell asleep against him

Charlie smiled softly before he started to fall asleep with her as well

Carmen woke up early, getting up and getting showered and dressed to go for a run, wanting to clear her head a little before they would be having a day full of training and pack duties to deal with as well as her likely having to start training the new girl some.

Travis woke up feeling a little stronger the next morning and got up to go get showered and cleaned up, waking up Max once he was out of the bathroom and getting dressed. "Hey, it's gonna be a busy day today, you want any breakfast?" He asked her quietly.

Max woke up and groaned softly "I'm up.." she mumbled before rubbing her eyes "Yeah breakfast sounds great." She said softly before she got out of bed and made her way to the restroom to wake herself up properly

Charlie woke up that morning and got dressed before he made his way downstairs kissing Carmen's cheek "Mmmm you need any help with the breakfast?" He asked quietly swaying with her some as she cooked.

She nodded "Can you take this one to your mom? She said her stomach was bugging her again so I did her a really bland one." She told him quietly, carrying on making everyone their breakfast and just about finishing hers and Charlie's when she heard a loud thud at the front door "Charlie can you get that?!" She called to him but one of the youngsters was already there and he opened the door finding a man collapsed on their porch and bleeding

'Charlie! We got a problem!' He called back to his alpha and waited til he walked round the corner, 'There's a man on the porch.' He told him, helping him drag the guy in and went to find their medic to look him over. He definitely smelt like were but what had happened wasn't clear. Or what pack he was from.

Travis smiled and nodded, getting dressed and standing a bit taller than normal, waiting til she wass out and ready to go downstairs before he headed down with her, not bothering to stay in their room. He felt a lot better than he had in years right now and he was going to use it. Though when they got down there and found a stranger collapsed in the hallway with Danny and Charlie kneeling over him he frowned some "Max go ask Carmen for some food, I'll be right there." He promised and went to see what was going on "Need any help?" He asked his brother

Max followed him downstairs and frowned at the commotion giving a nod to Travis making her way into the kitchen "Carmen? Do you need any help?" She asked when she saw she was the only one making breakfast

Charlie gave his mother her food before he heard the youngsters yell. He ran down and frowned seeing the were laying there on their floor. He looked over at Travis and nodded some "Help me get him to the infirmary room." He muttered noticing the difference in his brother's stance.

He nodded, lifting the guy by the legs and helped carry him into the infirmary, setting him on the bed they had set up in there, frowning some "Where'd he come from?" He asked, but when he got no answer he just rolled his eyes and went to find Max again, seeing her getting food "Some guy collapsed on our front porch... Danny's looking him over no-" He frowned when Carmen sniffed the air before shoving him out of the way and rushing towards the room he was in "Jesus Carmen that was rough." He muttered shaking his head some and piled his plate high "Was she nice to you?" He asked her.

Carmen frowned hearing what was going on but ignoring it, not wanting the drama but she looked over at Max as she came in and just shook her head "It's all done, take what you want, make sure you leave enough for sharing." She told her quickly, finishing a plate each for her and Charlie when Travis came back in, half listening to him when she caught a scent she hadn't been around in a long time, pausing to check it wasn't a trick before running towards the infirmary, shoving past Charlie to see the guy on the bed still unconscious "Pedro!" She cried out, looking at Danny, "Is he alright? How can I help?!" She asked him quickly.

Max gave a nod and thanked her before she made herself and Travis and plate. She raised an eyebrow as she ran off before she gave Travis his plate "Yeah she was fine." She said before she found a spot to sit down smiling some as the rest of them piled in "They all look pretty young, are most packs like this?"

Charlie frowned as he felt Carmen push past him raising an eyebrow "Who is he? He was collapsed on our porch." He explained as Danny got in to look him over

She frowned shaking her head and helped Danny where he needed it, shaking a little "He's from my pack! I thought he was dead." She told him quickly "He... He's alive, I can't believe he's alive." She muttered shakily, not paying Charlie much attention right now as he started coming to "Hey... Hey Pedge it's me, it's Carmen." She smiled at him through tears, "You're safe, you're here and you're safe I promise." She told him gently, smiling wide as she saw the recognition in his eyes as he started becoming more aware of his surroundings.

Travis nodded some "Don't let her treat you like shit. She'll probably try but stand up to her and she'll likely stop." He told her then nodded "Most are. But we aren't all as young as you think we are. Plus the older packs tend to keep to themselves more, blend into the community better because they're no longer strong enough to live as a full pack." He explained.

Max gave a small nod as she listened to him and noted how everyone still seemed to treat Travis almost to the scale of his brother. She ate quietly and went to take the plates for everyone and started to clean up wanting to make sure she did her part since she was apart of this family now.

Pedro frowned some as he started to come around grunting some "Carmen? Shit is that really you?" He asked quietly as he started to realize where he was. He had been searching ever since their pack had been attacked for her and finally he had caught onto her. They had been thick as theives in their old pack never really leaving eachothers side having grown up together as well. He knew she was not his mate but he would always have a deep emotional connection with her.

Carmen smiled as a few tears fell nodding and cupped his face. “It’s me.” She smiled “you’ve been bitten by someone, just rest a little, take it easy alright? Danny is gonna help you out. I’ll come check up on you in a bit okay?” She smiled kissing his head and walked out of there with Charlie once he was falling asleep again. “I can’t believe he’s alive... when I got home that day they were all dead. The house was already burnt through... what? What’s wrong?” She asked Charlie frowning at the look on his face.

travis got up with her once they were done and headed out back to go watch them setting things up for training, “you’re gonna go with carmen I think. She’ll show you everything. We’ve only got two other girls and they’re both teenagers.” He told her.

Charlie followed her out as the man fell asleep and frowned some watching her "Who the hell is he?" He asked raising an eyebrow and crossing his arms. He didn't like that therewas a strange man in his pack who apparently knew his mate well. He felt a bit threatened by it.

Max followed him out and gave a small nod "What are we training for?" She asked softly frowning when she saw them start to spar and fight one another.

She frowned some. “My best friend. That’s all... I’m not sending him away. It’s not happening.” She muttered. “We grew up together. I can’t send him away before I even have him back.” She told fun seriously.

he frowned and watched her. “In case ofan attack. We have a nice territory here. Others want it for themselves. It’s happened before. Only a matter of time before it happens again”

Charlie gave a nod a frown still plastered on his face "Just a friend?" He asked as he watched her still weary of this man but if Carmen trusted him so would he to an extent

Max gave a small nod and held onto him as they watched biting her lip some "When will I be able to change?" She asked softly "Will it be at a full moon?"

She frowned and stepped back glaring at him. “No I’m gonna fuck him the first opportunity I get right under your goddamn nose.” She snarled at him and walked away before it turned into a fight, heading out the back and looked over at max. “With me. Now.” She muttered.

travis glanced over seeing carmen come out and just nodded at max. “Have fun. Sort of.” He murmured and kissed her cheek, giving her hand a squeeze before letting her go.

Charlie growled some as she stormed off and he made his way off outside as well to the other youngsters to train them "Travis with me NOW."

Max gave his hand a squeeze before he went off with Carmen standing infront of her not sure what else she should be doing
