Audrey
Location: Downtown Ithawell on Highspeed Chase, approaching Custos territory
The car took the turns at high speeds, getting through the side streets with ease. As they passed her childhood home, Audrey looked at it briefly as she passed, seeing the family car in the driveway and her mother outside working on the garden within the front yard. The teen turned her head away before her mother noticed her looking and then sighed as she glanced down at the child who still seemed frantic by its increased movement, making her winch in pain as it kicked her ribs for a moment, making Audrey suck in a breath of air. Audrey sighed to herself as she remembered her parents' horrified looks upon seeing the teen girl standing over her little sister's, not even five years of age, lifeless and drained body.

Audrey shook herself before she could get too far into her memory. They were almost at the highway, if they could get on it, they should be able to lose those that were following them. For now, she could see they were approaching the eastern lands where the other bitten pack, Custos, resided. The girl only knew this by learning about it from the vampire that had taken her life and fathered her child who had told her briefly of the packs, though at the time there had only been Boreal and Lichen. Custos had come later but the girl knew of it due to her accidentally stumbling into the territory as a rogue and pissed off the male werewolf that controlled the area. She looked again behind them to see if they were being pursued by anyone.

Ken
You know who's mentioned)

Being very determined to catch the perpetrator he speeds up faster and faster in his motorcycle , passing by the other car that was chasing alongside him. The other two seem incompetent to actually hurt or catch the target as it's left to Ken to get the job done . Being beside the target's car he takes in a deep breath before performing the things that some without a spine consider impossible. Leaping from his motorcycle he landed onto the back of the car as he grips tightly onto the window with a hole on it as something to hold onto , he could see barely of what is going on in the front as the front and back window is splattered with blood . Finally getting a good grip onto the back of the car he reaches down to his satchel as he toys with his hand before pulling out a C-4 explosive 🧨, the explosive abilities capiable of blowing off the entire back half of the car therefore disabling the vehicle . Being that the bomb is set up he coordinated it with his detonator and primes it so of messed with by bullet or physical force it will detonate

Alice
Custos house
None really

Hearing the two most likely departing from the music room it was her go time to escape as she gently opened the door to the closet and walked to the window , creaking it open shelooks at the sides on the outsides to get things to climb on , seeing a few loose bricks she smiles and starts climbing , and climbing.. and climbing .. but unfortunately it only leads to the Top and not really anywhere back down .., finding her way up to the roof she sits there contemplating as a storm comes rolling in the future. Her mind races as all this seems more and more dangerous to her, the once simple and sad life she has endured through now has taken a sharp and dangerous turn to the deep end as she is in enemy territory giving apologies to a member of their pack... what is she thinking! She has no reason to be there as an intruder. Finding a window to the attic she slides into there as she can hear the storm rolling in, after the storm passes the night she will try to escape the area ..

Nearly jumping, Silvia turned her stormy blue hues onto Ordan, her lips pursing as he stepped into the room. There wasn’t any real way to cover up the scent that leaked throughout the room, but she hoped it hadn’t clustered somewhere to the point it would be noticeable where it was coming from. To say the least she was very eager to get him away from the scene. That’s why she brushed her hands on her thighs as if dusting them off before following behind the bulkier male. He had brought up dinner and it turned out she was quite hungry—though her nerves were causing quite the ruckus in her stomach as she didn’t think she could eat knowing that upstairs she could get caught.

Tucking some more strands of loose hair behind her ear, Silvia sat down at an open plate, presuming the two males were the only other occupants as there were only two sets of plates. “Thank you, if you ever want help in the kitchen I would be happy to help. I know cooking can be a hassle,” she proposed to the other, stormy eyes flicking down to the meal in front of her. She was getting her appetite back which was a good sign of her calming down, her nervous outlook on what could happen was slipping away. She was technically harboring someone dangerous, or at least seen as dangerous for the new group she was apart of. She had to bend to their traditions already, but that didn’t mean she really wanted to. The prime example was by stopping Ordan from shooting the girl, and then by keeping her hidden upstairs.

Though as she relinquished the last of her worries, her blue eyes zoomed in on the food, eager to dive in. She would have waited until Ordan was already eating, her father was big on that type of table manners, she always found it funny though to witness the really hungry set of brothers she had to wait until their father took at least one bite. Silvia couldn’t help but recall that memory, well before flushing it down the drain.

Audrey
Location: Highspeed Chase, approaching Custos
Fate was a cruel mistress indeed for they would not make it to Custos, let alone the highway. Audrey heard the sound of something speeding up and turned her head, unable to see anyone as her unborn child felt like it was headbutting her stomach, causing her to drop the gun she was holding on the floor at her feet. The teenager hissed in pain as the child seemed to sense the threat above the car for it didn't let up on its ceaseless movement within the pregnant fledgling's womb. She didn't understand what had the child acting up so suddenly when everything had been fine before the alpha had shown up and dragged her away from her appointment. Had the alpha done some wolf thing to her to cause the infant to be in distress or was it that the child sensed the semi-dislike between the two species that caused it to react in such a way? "What is your....issue?" she bit out, no longer focusing on the road ahead of them as her mind raced, trying to figure out and failing to see what the matter was.

"Isabella...something is...wrong," Audrey said to the alpha who was concentrating on the road. She didn't hear the thump of a body landing on the car as they proceeded on their flight, the girl undoing her seatbelt to grab reach down and grab the gun on the floor. Not knowing the danger that she or her children were in, at this moment she didn't particularly care for if the alpha got injured or killed as her priority was for her child. As she grabbed the gun, the car hit the sidewalk, causing her to hit the bottom of the glove box.

Location: Kitchen, Custos Home

Ordan watched as Silvia sat at the table but didn't touch her food. Instead she thanked him, causing him to raise a brow at her as she proceeded to speak of helping in the kitchen if he needed it and commenting on cooking being a hassle. "Once I get some subordinates, they and the omegas will take care of the cooking, house maintenance and chores. You maintain the healing, birthing and funerals as well as the greenhouses and gardens where the herbs are grown, both for food and medicinal uses as well keeping stock of the medical supplies. I will show you the healing room after dinner and a tour but your help...is appreciated and I'm sure Jaehwa appreciates it as well." She could take care of the plants as well with the rest of the healers, when he got some, however he didn't have many plants except those outside in the gardens he had planted...some ferns and other various species. "There is a room here dedicated to the omegas and subordinates, that is their domain and only they can enter it. You have the use of the music room, outside areas, the healing room of course which is your domain, the library, the rec room and the territory. The town is neutral ground and belongs to the humans. We will, assuming the Lichen alpha Blake finds the Boreal alpha, be participating in a tri-pack hunt, mainly to get blood from a pureblood wolf and a pureblood vampire, more if possible. Plus it is useful to find out how the mutts and leeches work in order to fight if they try to hurt or take our lands and people...not that the purebloods want anything to do with us."

Tyress
Tyress tried getting his aim back again as the car started to leave the busy roads of Ithawell into more open and empty ones. Suddenly, a motorbike turned onto the road just as they were leaving the last junction behind them. He recognized it as the one whose rider had stabbed the wheels of the squad car. He saw the rider bring his arm up, gun in hand...
Quickly, he ducked and pushed down Dominick's head, just before the glass in the back windscreen behind them shattered with the sound of bullet fire. They were soft 'thuds' in the headrests, and the windsreen in front of them cracked as the rider kept on firing. The car swerved violently, but it managed to stay on the road.
Tyress looked up and saw that they were know completely alone on the road, with the exception of the bike rider, the car they were chasing and another bike beside the car, who he guessed was the guy who shot at it before. Suddenly, the guy jumped off his bike and onto the roof of the black SUV, and started fixing some kind of machine onto the roof, all the while holding tight onto the roof. The bike rider behind them accelerated in front, and started shooting at the guy on the roof, who had finished fixing what ever thing it was on. Wait, is that a bomb? He thought. Wouldn't that kill... everybody? Even if the blast didn't go all the way to the front, it would throw the car off pretty dangerously, and the heat would probably ignite the fuel. As he looked on, the passenger turned to look at the car. She was young, younger than him, and had a looked more nervous than afraid. He couldn't just wait and watch as his own kind from his other half died.

He brought up Dominick's pistol once more... and aimed and the back car wheel...I'll end this...and shot.
The bullet hit its target, and the car swerved violently, hitting the sidewalk and swinging side to side. The motor bike was knocked off the road , and tumbled down on to the side. The car finally swung violently until it was facing back, and stopped.

Isabella
Near Custos, on car chase.
Isabella drove on, ignoring the traffic. They soon reached more open roads, near the country side. She didn't approve of going inside Custos territory, but what else could they do, and anyway they weren't going to stop there. She heard Audrey, trying to calm her baby."Just calm down, Audrey, and the baby will calm down too. Don't worry, I won't let the order lay a hand on you." She soon heard gunfire in the distance, gunfire not directed at them. Good, it must be Jason. Then she turned and saw another motor bike rider, and immediately recognized the suit as one of the blood order. Before she could do anything, the rider jumped off his bike, and onto the roof of the SUV. "Damn you..." she tried turning the car violently to throw him off, but to no avail. Jason will have to take care of him too. Looking in the rear mirror, she saw he was already acting on it.
Hearing the concern in Audrey's voice again as she spoke, she turned and asked, "What is it, Audrey?" just before a loud bang came from one of the tires.

She soon lost control of the car as it swung violently, knocking Jason off the road, until it swung in a half circle facing the car that was following them with a sharp turn. She hit her head on the steering wheel, and when the car stopped airbags blew up. Cringing from the pain in her injured arm, she looked up again, dazed, and brushed the hair from her face, and removed her seatbelt. She turned to Audrey and said,"Audrey... Are you alright?"

Audrey
Location: Near Custos
Audrey's vision momentarily blacked out as her head hit the bottom of the glove box when the car jumped the curb as it hit the sidewalk. There was a difference between vampire children and other children of other supernaturals and humans, though she didn't know it at the time. If the child sensed its life was in danger, it would do everything it could to ensure its survival by ripping its way out of the mother, which often but not always led to the death of the blood from massive blood loss and injury. She didn't notice the other bike either as it swung onto the road and fired at the car chasing them, shattering the other's windshield and forcing the two pursuing them to duck to avoid the glass that was blasted inwards to the other vehicle. She distinctly heard Isabella telling her to calm down and that the child would calm down as well and how she wouldn't let the Blood Order get their hands on her. Well that's just nice, Audrey thought sarcastically before the unborn child pushed again against her.

Audrey tried to focus on taking deep slow breaths to calm the child, not easy when her mind was racing and the baby was moving about like it was on fire or in distress, causing no amount of discomfit to the pregnant fledgling. "I don't know...the baby is really restless and won't stop moving," she said before her words cut off at the sound of something in the air, the car suddenly shaking as Isabella jerked the wheel to lose their pursuers, the other motorcycle she had not seen being knocked off of the road. She jerked her head up, silver eyes going wide as she heard the sound of a gunshot followed by the sound of a tire exploding. Fuck, she swore mentally as Isabella suddenly screamed. For a few moments the struggling infant stopped, as if sensing that it would not be good to try to get out when the car swung widely, Audrey instinctively wrapping her arms around her stomach as the car swerved, accidently knocking the motorcycle that unknowingly belonged to the beta of Boreal off the road as it hit the smaller vehicle, and came to a violent stop, somehow swinging back into a half circle to face the car that had been chasing them, the airbags deploying on impact.

For the unborn child's part, the twin that had been conceived two days later than its brother, it would be the first born and therefore the oldest, not that Audrey would ever realize it. While its twin brother did nothing but occasionally move and make its presence known, the younger and soon to be older of the twins sensed it and its twin were still in danger along with their mother. Though the children didn't have the power to see outside of their mother, no child could do that, the children or at least the pureblood vampire child could sense immediate things through the mother's emotions and subtle differences within the air outside. It was really unknown how it worked, nobody had ever thought to experiment on that as most vampires, including those in the womb were killed and the same went for werewolf children in the womb being killed as well.

The airbags had somewhat cushioned the impact of the teen mother-to-be as they deployed, however they somewhat pinned the girl's arms against her swollen stomach, forcing Audrey to try to get her arms free so she didn't intentionally hurt herself or her child that she knew was safely protected but she'd heard of car crashes and such sending pregnant women into labor or sending the children into distress, sometimes resulting in loss of the fetus. As Isabella looked to her, Audrey slowly pulling one arm away from her stomach and then pulling away the other before pushing the airbag away from her, she heard the alpha's voice, asking if she were alright. "I think...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" she cried out as the child literally kicked against her. "No...no something is really..." she started before another contraction hit her...the girl searching for the door handle and pushing it open. Even if Isabella tried stopping her, the girl wasn't sure but she knew the child should not be acting on this, practically falling out of the car onto the road as the unborn child started acting up again, se would have tried getting away for the child's safety if not her own.

Unknowingly, the chase and the distress of being hunted by her own kind, well what had been her own kind, had caused the child to fear for its life and it was trying to get out, trying to protect itself and ensure its survival, even if it meant killing the girl who had carried it for four months. As Audrey forced herself to her feet, the child kicked out in desperation, sending the girl to the ground again, Audrey sucking in a sharp breath of air into her lungs and which caused her to cough as she struggled to her feet and then stumbled down the road, footsteps faltering and slow, her stomach feeling like it was about to burst open or she was being repeatedly rammed by a goat. The girl cursed under her breath as she continued stumbling down the road, barely registering that they were in open country and that Custos was somewhere ahead. The pregnant fledgling didn't realize it but she was unknowingly in labor, not even realizing that when the child had kicked against her, causing the teen's water to break. Whether she was currently being pursued or not, she didn't know as the child, seeing it couldn't kick its way out of its mother but could cause severe pain and discomfort for the pregnant vampire, turned on itself and kicking out with its tiny feet, grasped its mother and began bite push clawing its way to freedom, something that wouldn't be evident right away.

Flicking her blue hues up towards Ordan, she observed him as he informed her of her duties as a healer. She hadn’t dabbled in gardening very much but considering she could learn more about it, she nodded her head. Without knowing what he really had planted already, Silvia would have to make a trip into town to buy some plants and seeds that they might need—maybe pick up a few books talking about herbs and how herbalist use them. She could get her mits on antibiotics which was what she had the most experience with—prescribing pills, anesthia, setting up IV drips, using a respirator, she had the most experience in field and side training for those. What really stalled her was the fact that healers were needed. It seemed logical but the condition they all had seemed to enable them fast healing, though her bite mark not fully healed was going at a quick pace to closing up without small stitches or staples.

When he broached the topic of birthing, she raised her brow. When a child was born, or more, she thought of it like magic. She hadn’t ever expected herself to be a midwife to an entire group that could form and the young that might be born within their confines. It was sad in her mind that she was so happy about children running around, she didn’t wish any curse or disease on a child. Though she wasn’t sure if the child would be born normal of coming from a bitten wolf—she would think so as it would take time to spread down from the eggs in the uterus, or maybe it worked too quick and spread like wildfire to make sure the disease was passed on.

Purebloods? They were...born this way?” she mused after a moment of catching on. She had already registered her offlimit areas and the go to spots by the time he brought about taking blood. “Do you think, well, that they would give us some? They shouldn’t have anything to loose if they do. Only difference is that we have some, their bodies are full of it as long as we don’t take too much...” she murmured curiously. After relaxing she was getting warmed up to the group or trio of wolves she was now included in with.

And this hunt, does that mean we, uh, hunt people? I-I-I know that wouldn’t be right to just assume but, would the purebloods—as you say—want to hunt their natural prey? Unless they all eat animals...” she proposed cautiously. She could see how valuable the opportunity was, and even with the idea of getting her hands on the blood would be useful for her to learn more about the whole ordeal—she was hesitant about the hunting part. That worried her, the idea of hunting people instead of hunting game, well normal game like deer or bunnies.

Ordan
Location: Kitchen, Custos House
Ordan put some salad on his salad plate and some thousand island dressing before mixing it up to coat the salad. As he did so, he looked up as Siliva listened to what he had to say. He wasn't sure but she seemed almost...eager to be a part of something and being able to heal people though seemed confused on it. "Not all wounds heal well," said Ordan. "Silver can cripple or scar a wolf without strong will," he said. "If we feel guilty, our wounds will take longer to heal and scars of silver won't heal at all." The alpha noticed she seemed surprised by the purebloods for she questioned him. "Yes...any child bor to a vampire is a vampire. Any child born to a werewolf is a werewolf. The diseases act too quickly to stop. Any child born to a vampire and a werewolf is known as a vaewolf, or a child born to a vaewolf couple are considered vaewolves. Same with a person born to a human and a vampire, the child is known as a dhamphir. Vaewolves and Dhamphirs are outlawed due to the danger they pose to human, wolf and vampire."

Ordan began eating but paused as Silvia asked about if they asked, would the purebloods give their blood willingly. "No, they would not give us any. They think we are a nuisance and that Boreal isn't as much of a group of troublemakers as we are. They believe we should accept our fate and not try to find a cure, to become human again once more. As Jaehwa can attest with the near arugement I got into with Blake, the Lichen alpha this morning," said Odan. "They see us as foolish to accept this is the way we are and humans are just food. I cannot say whether Lichen or even Boreal will hunt humans. Boreal has given into their animal side and forsaken their humanity so it is possible they might. We will hunt animals...as people." He did not plan on his pack shifting if he could avoid it. "I do not know the details. The hunt depends on if Blake can find the Boreal alpha, a female werewolf."

Vaewolf?” she echoed softly, nodding her head as she focused on absorbing the information idly passed along to her. Maybe it was for the best of the half bred creatures...but the parents of those creatures were more than devastated. Silvia couldn’t imagine her child being a Vaewolf or even a Dhamphir and having to be put down because of her and the father. The thought made her ill, having to loose a child as soon as she had it.

She numbly nodded her head up and down as he described everything to her, her hands subconsciously already having her eat. She may have given in due to the fact she was growing hungry. Though her hair begun to get in her way—for having short hair advertised for being out of the face it was always in her way. Silvia pulled it back again, the strands all pulled back into a ponytail for the fifth time that day.

Silver can cripple wolves, so would you know where I could get some books on the antonmy on werewolves and vampires? It would be helpful in the long run—having something to refer to and having more knowledge about the weakest points on both wolves and vampires could also help with getting their blood...” she stated slowly. She would need it for a number of things. She needed reference material, books to study, information on weak points or anything different or changed within the body, and detailed weakness about both to look out for.

Larkin A. Andley
Location: Living Room, Lichen
Interaction: Open

The brute was sprawled lazily over the plush cushions of the couch he was currently preoccupying. He was appearing very calm and nonchalant—arrogant almost. His demeanor was not so on guard while within the confines of his territory or the territory claimed to Lichen. He loved to travel about but he was always relaxed the most when inside the temporary home, which had lasted for quite some time considering his usual moving habits. The golden haired brute had tried to leave himself a closed book, it was easier to attract attention he wanted from the female mundane population—the odd balls were quite attractive or the troubled looking ones were to the women that made a good snack. Though he didn’t exactly throw up a facade like he used to, now he didn’t have to fake the blank face or the longing looks, but when he returned home he simply bottled it all up and relaxed.

Which was what left Larkin lounging on the couch in the first place. The beige toned material pressed against his back, he took to one of the smaller sofas rather than the large couch and because of that his legs dangled slightly over the edge. He had shadows casted over his body, the tanned and brown curtains were drawn and sealed so that the dwindling light wouldn’t flutter in. He wasn’t much of a sunshine person for too long, he recalled once when he had craved to go outside but he barely grasped anything about being the beast he was.

The brute let out a sigh of air, his chest rising as he sucked in through his lungs and as he released the carbon building up in his chest with a long and drug out exhale. Larkin had his arm dangling onto the pale colored rug, fingers picking gently at the soft carpet like rug. To the unseeing eye he would appeared asleep, bored, or dead. He was just sitting in the dark, his blue eyes hidden behind his eyelids with his jaw held no smile or frown.

The doctors all around Ken's body look morbidly at the man, how can someone endure so much and overwork themselves to this state. Stim packs can only do so much but the condition for him is beyond he doctors' comprehension of how to act next. For three basic minor injuries they stitched together but for the ribs and lungs are too dangerous for operations, one rib pierced through Ken's left lung making it collapse and blood rise up to make Ken have trouble breathing at all. The doctors do all they can to try to drain the blood out of the unconceous man to let him breathe but are leaderless to try to save his life, the man is unconscious due to brain damage and concussion to the point he is in a coma, the duration is unknown as a scout is sent to inform the leader about Ken's declining condition, surrounding the unconscious man the doctor's debate over performing he risky operation or not as it could end in killing him but not doing anything would leave him dead in hours. Every second count and the doctors are wasting it.

Deep in Ken's unvonscious head he dreams about his childhood , the once happy life he had with her before he was selected for being a défiler. Sometimes he personally thinks of the rank as a curse rather than anything in all honesty. The heart rate monitor slowly by the minute declining. They need to act and fast

Basilia
Location: Blood Order HQ, Medical Bay
Basilia had been woken by a knock on her door abd Razor’s barking, Ken coming in with a child. The man could feel most emotions and he was telling her this? "Really Ken? You engaged in a high speed chase with a wolf, not just a wolf but the Boreal alpha and some blood sucker, and brought an infant back here?"

He held up the baby in front of her and then placed it on a table beside the two , looking at her through the pitch black visor as his face is still unrecognizable yet in her memory she knows what or who is in the helmet. The face she remembered long ago. "Listen,... the pawns must be sacrificed in order to take the queen, the boreal would be dealt with later and I fucked up her car, the child on he otherhand is special from one of the vampire ladies, raising one to battle and to kill monsters for the blood order is much more of a benefit than a mere alpha slain. We both know our master would make the wiser choice and invest in something we know if raised right can be an unstoppable warmachine... I will not tell if the creature is better than me tho ..." he glares at the infant and pulls out his pistol, cocking the gun as he aims it up to the ceiling, "if you don't want it we can ransom the child or kill it to spread a fear message to other packs."

"Pride cometh before a fall Ken," Basilia spoke though she could not deny the amusement she took in seeing, to her, the apparent jealousy he had towards the crying infant. She studied the child as it was held up and then placed on the table between the pair. When he explained how he had caused the car the Boreal alpha was in and how they could hunt the wolf later, she hummed to herself, not speaking as she stared down at the child and then looked at Ken, smiling slightly as she remembered what he looked like under his mask, considering his information carefully. At least he had not brought this up in front of the rest of the order though if she agreed on keeping the child, they would need to explain its presence which should be a simple enough matter and if anyone objected...well they could always be executed.

"The creature, as you put it Ken, is no threat to you at this current moment. It's a baby...what can it do really?" A sigh escaped the woman as Emmanuel was brought up, nodding sagely. Yes...he would have taken the time to invest in the babe after considering it and executed it, should it prove a problem down the line. Besides, it was a human...Basilia wouldn't be surprised if it were rejected by the vampire that had birthed it though found that slightly odd...a vampire having a human child. Still...it might prove in their favor and just could keep the child secret. Basilia turned from Ken and the baby, the woman staying silent and pacing the room for some time as she thought over the best action to take. Turning back to him, she strode towards the table, laying a hand on the table and tapping her fingers against it, before finally making her decision.

"Remember, it is a child. Shooting it would be less painful then the fate that may await it, should we ransom it. I can't imagine any of those packs willingly treating it well with it being nothing like them. We know how they treated dhamphir and vaewolves the past before we worked with them to kill those abominations." Granted such a thing had been before the pair had been born but they'd both heard stories on it. “We will keep the child here and raise it to be a soldier...you may be right in that it may prove useful to us. Its training starts when it turns five...until then let it be a child. As for its...mother..." the woman paused as she glanced down at the child "...there is one way to keep the child from being taken. Find a way to make it look like the child died, then send this with a useless Ascendant or a servant. Implant something in them once contact is made and just kill it from safety. That should prevent any problems."

So that had been where Basilia was, with the infant of a leech in her room. Leaving one of the acolytes to watch the child, she had been informed Ken was in the medical bay, she wasn’t surprised when he had collapsed, put into a medical coma. The woman stared at the burned flesh and other injuries looking much the same as she remembered so well. Glancing at the machines monitoring his vitals, the woman turned to the doctors. “His condition is destabilizing by the second and you are just standing here?” Basilia’s eyes flashed with annoyance as she looked st the physicians. Being told there was an operation they could do it that it was risky, they were met with a hard stare from the leader. “Ventilate him and do the operation,” said Basilia, giving no room to argue.

“Come on Ken...you aren’t going to let this beat you are you?” When one of the doctors said something, the woman turned and swung her hand into the doctor’s throat, killing him before looking at the others. “He dies, I will personally kill you all myself,” Basilia snapped. “Tilt his head up, if needed cut into his trachea to vent him. Find someone who has Ken’s blood type or type O and bring them here, prep them for a blood transfusion. Once the blood is drained and the rib cut out, we need to patch it up and fill it again.”

As the doctors stood there, the woman cursed and moved one aside as she grabbed a medical instrument and began cutting into Ken’s chest, grabbing a fresh tube as the doctors finally took over the woman’s job. One mentioned that due to the brain damage it was possible Ken wouldn’t be the same if he woke up. The only reason he was not dead for that comment was Basilia needed them alive. Basilia stepped aside and walked a short distance away as she watched the team work, ignoring the body of the doctor she killed, as her gaze focused on her deputy. “Come on Ken...come back to me,” Basilia spoke quietly. She’d lost their master, Ken was the only other one she trusted and knew well. Even if he didn’t come back the same, she knew he’d hate not being useful, she wouldn’t give up on him abd he’d always have a place here as long as she was alive.

As the doctors pondered about debating over the body one doctor got angry about the man on his deathbed and pointed at him " why try to save him , he is going to die anyways and is just some useless lackey!" At that moment he realized Basilia entered upset as he turned to her and tries to argue with her . That of course did not go well as his throat was slit and he falls into the floor in a bloody mess infront of his colleagues as the other doctors listen to her now , hearing her orders they set up a breathing tube and pump for the blood after her orders and get the proper equipment set up. Upon examining the body they found his organs were not really ... the same... the lungs were 30% larger than a normal human for extra air put in his body, the rib cage bones were kinda more flexible and elastic than regular hard ribs . Arsenal glands at a glance seem to be slightly larger and on overdrive. It must be he has the greatest genes ever or Something odd happened to the man.. reguardless after hours of surgery it was a success and they made the once collapsed lung breathable and the rib fixed and back in place. The brain matter on the other hand was a different situation as son as the surgeon closed him up they set him up for a MRI scan so they can know more about the kid.. upon discovery images show the Bronc area and some of the amygdala are dead so he has struggling with emotional issues and ... well may never speak again unless his brain heals eventually but who knows when ... the team leave the patient in the recovery room where he was twitching a bit and they tell her about his situation in the brain and surgery of the ribs

The mind inside Ken's head pulses to the sound of the blood pumping inside his body, 'thump, thump, thump' the heart beats like a drum as he tries to recollect the memories of his life flashing before his eyes in this unconscious state. The memories of being with Basilica as a child, were they... real ? Or just another figment constructed in his imagination that were made like the sleeper agents. He could clearly tell about Emmanuel walking to Ken and telling him to follow, having to leave Basilica for her own duties as they were separated... new flashes pop before his eyes as he remembers the trainings, the beatings, the verbal abuse, all to make him 'better'... to kill, is that all he was ? A killing machine? These things really start to make him question his humanity whist asleep but now was not the time to further dream, he has to wake up... wake up... wake up!

An eye has opened for Ken as he looks up facing the ceiling before he opens his second eye , getting just started up as he looks to his side to see Basilica there, he opens his mouth to say hello mistress but no words came out, he can't speak... why can't he speak ? This surely made him scared and fearful in his eyes as he tries to speak as much as he can but still no words care to exit his mouth.

The thought of warmth and protection from the outside was sufficient for the young girl for now as the attic was a kind of home outside of home. Feeling the cold winds blow past the slits and cracks in the roofing she soon started to shiver nervously as she hates being cold, all that freezing feeling is not at all making her wanting to stay so she looks around to find a escape area, looking around and rummaging through things she finds a hatch that leads to upstairs. Of the house. Opening carefully she falls onto the floor with a thud sound before looking quickly to find a room, wanting for warmth she finds Silvia's room unknowingly and enters with caution before making herself at home and digs herself under the covers, taking a deep and warm sleep there well protected from the elements. "Zzzzzz"

Basilia watched the team work on Ken, staying out of the way and when the surgery was done, he was sent upstairs for an MRI as a doctor spoke to her of his brain and his ribs, speaking of the overall prognosis. She headed to one of the recovery rooms afterwards that Ken had been wheeled in, the meeting she’d spoken to Ken about earlier on hold. He lay there twitching but one eye opened and the another as he turned to look at her. “Ken! You’re awake, thank God!” She would have hugged him, but he had just gotten out of surgery. “You were badly injured and had to be put in a coma. I had to cut your chest open to get a tube into your lung to inflate it. They did an MRI on your brain which was damaged in the attack but they patched up your minor wounds, fixed your ribs and got the blood out of your lung and regulated it. Your heart was fluctuating and dipping by the time I was alerted to the problem. You...you may not...be able to talk again...I don’t know if you’ll be the same or not...but you will always have a place here...with me...whether you’re my deputy or not as long as I’m alive.”

Looking at Basilica his eyes widened as he at first tried to get up only to feel a pain In his chest where the stitches are. He couldn't express his pain other than his face as he had to lay back down on the bed , he really wanted to get up and try to help the guild once again but physically he is still need of recovery or at least a stim pack. Hearing the terrible terrible news about not being able to speak he tries with everything he has to speak but nothing went out, tears went down his eyes off his cheek as he felt helpless, a tool, someone useless and will never be loved .. slowly he reaches out his closest hand to hers giving a sad look to her.

Perhaps Basilia should not have laid everything on him at once but she has been taught the truth was better. “Don’t!” She shouted as he tried to get up, only to fall back on the bed. “You need to rest Ken. Your body needs time to heal.” As he tried to speak and failed, years came from his eyes and she felt her heart break. When he reached for her hand, Basilia took it and gave a light squeeze of reassurance. “I’m here and not going anywhere Ken. I got an acolyte looking after the baby.” Scooting the chair closer to the bed he was resting on and let the tears she had been fall when seeing they were alone. “I’m glad you came back to me. I know they say patients might be able to hear when in a coma but I wasn’t sure. I don’t think I ever told you but I missed you when you were taken off to the secret school for training. Those were some difficult times as I didn’t know where you were and couldn’t write.”

Holding her hand softly he continues to have tears roll down his cheeks as he has trouble coping with these emotions given to him , whining without sound he cries as he thought long ago when he was a kid that he never got to see her again, he was really In love with her then and he still is now but now that he has changed he thinks that he will be useless to her and unloved because of his problems, he tries to scoot up to her be the bed as he rubs the back of her hand with his thumb. How will he ever recover and have a voice at all in the field of battle. His skin was a pale color from the loss of blood as his energy and muscles were very very weak but all of his attention remained to her as she is the only reason he moved on and pursued his training until he became the best.

Basilia watched as Ken continued crying and sighed to herself. "The MRI scans said your Bronc area and some of the amygdala are dead. I think that's why you possess recklessness and fearlessness, doing things most others wouldn't do but I'm not a doctor or even a psychologist," admitted Basilia. As he rubbed his thumb over her hand, scooting up, the woman stood and sat on the edge of the bed, turning so she could face him yet also having an ear on the door. "We'll figure out something Ken, for now you need to rest and recover. Going out too early will cause difficulties and could get you killed." After killing one of their doctors, she didn't want to have to kill the rest, otherwise that would be more people she'd need to find and she already had to find scientists and new recruits. The woman stood as a doctor came into the room with one of the servants that had blood and the servant was set up next to Ken, the leader of the Blood Order remaining by Ken's side as she questioned the doctor and found out the servant had O blood. Veins were found in both arms and needles inserted, blood going from the servant into Ken. The doctor spoke about Ken needing full rest and he should be able to get up soon as the transfusion was over. Calling for a couple of Shadows, she ordered them to wait and help Ken to her own room upon the all clear given by the doctor.

Ken looks away in shame and disgrace as he turns his head away from Basilica and closed his eyes to fall asleep for the transfusion. Upon waking up as the transfusion is complete he felt regenerated and alive somehow, full of energy as his blood is restored and refilled, grabbing the IV and tearing it off of him he growls and grunts to give a clear indication to get off the bed. The shadows obey and help his legs to the floor that is now cleaned of blood as his feet land there and his arms wrap around their shoulders. His chest was bound tightly all around by bandages to cover up the stitches and wounds that were healing. Going past the armory he gave a good stare at it as he really wanted to go there as well before looking back forward. How many days will he have to wait until full recovery he doesent know but at the very least with a opening of a door they have entered basilica's bedroom as he is laid ontop of the bed there

Basilia briefly patted Ken's hand before withdrawing her hand from his grasp as he turned away. He had nothing to be ashamed for at all, the woman watching as the transfusion occured and then he was helped up by the Shadows, his chest bandaged tightly. "You'll be okay," said Basilia to him before leading them to her room, dismissing the acolyte and, once Ken had been laid on her bed, dismissed them as well and informed them to not speak of this to anyone. When she heard the door close, she looked him over. "Ken, you have nothing to be ashamed for. I don't hold how you look at the moment against you...you're still the same person I knew as a child, even if you try to cover it up through fear or training."

Ken

Resting his head on a pillow he looks up at basilia with the tears streaming down his cheeks but he isn't crying, he isn't the same man he used to be, no longer able to talk he is a different man ( at least he thinks he is) as his eyes once locked into her veer off to the floor as his body is filled with puncture scars from the défiler suit he was wearing for years. That suit is like a Iron Maiden metaphorically and literally in a way as he suit is filled with wires and iv dug well into the veins, providing hydration, nourishment, and even sometimes morphine and type O blood for when wounded to help heal and numb the pain he is trained to endure through. Thé défilers are known infamous for the crimes they commit in the outside world but to the user these suits of death and mystery provide a different experience that are hell to wear but are needed to live. From the years of training and the suit of armor there is of little humanity left for those that wear it as they are more than competent to face, hunt and kill supernaturals. This leaves to the question if défilers, Ken not out of the picture, are man or machine built , birthed to kill. ( sorry had to get dramatic)

Internally, Jaehwa was a mess. He’d just withheld information from his alpha. The guilt was killing him, and thus he didn’t feel up much to speaking. That wasn’t his only problem, though. Catalyst number two was the silver-haired girl who Jaehwa could only assume was their new member. In his eyes (which had never once stuck like glue to someone so much), she was stunning. Brave, too. If he didn't have better self-control, he'd be a flushed hodgepodge of stuttering nonsense right now.

Something was going on between her and Ordan, Jaehwa could tell, but, for some reason, he didn't care. Most things weren't properly registering at the moment. Or any of the moments after he'd first caught sight of Silvia. He was granted some free time. Didn't process that. The food in front of him. Did it even have a flavor? All he felt was how sweaty his palms were.

Knowing full well that this 'crush' would never be able to go anywhere, the stubborn wolf kept his head down and his lips sealed. After returning home, he'd immediately rushed off on a walk out and around the estate to try and calm down. While that had helped a little, everything came flooding back when he sat down at the dinner table. Jaehwa tried to maintain his cool. Yes, he may have snuck a glance or two when she wasn't looking. But that didn't mean he was getting his hopes up. Jaehwa simply enjoyed the way her hair framed her face, how her eyes glimmered just slightly when she tilted her head, the--

"You are very pretty." The wolf didn't even look up from his plate. He knew he'd pretty much just interrupted a conversation. He knew this was completely backtracking all the walls he'd try to set up by keeping quiet earlier. Did he care any more? No, not really. It was better to get your thoughts out there than to mull them over for all eternity, right?

"I just mean... You know, like your face. And your hair. And your eyes. Really pretty eyes. And you're cool too. I mean, uhm..." Jaehwa chose then to stuff his mouth with as many bites of steak as he could manage, his head lowered and his hands shaky. He'd become exactly what he didn't want to be. A hodgepodge of stuttering nonsense. Great.

Munching quietly on some food poked by her fork, Silvia observed as Ordan explained in more detail about Vaewolves—she felt pity for the creatures but, her sight was set on the books. With her focus on the male who was filling her brain up with knowledge, not exactly on the male off to her side who was distracted by something it appeared. She hadn’t found herself examining anything until he spoke—she remembered Ordan referring to him as Jaehwa. Flicking her stormy colored hues over him, she gave him a fleeting smile at his words.

He seemed to catch himself in a bind, trying to explain himself after his sudden vocalization. Silvia merely put on a grin as her cheeks lit up, her free hand tugging on some strands from her top, she wasn’t used to as much attention, nor with getting used to things quickly so things were going quite well with development. “Thank you,” she murmured after clearing her throat. The once resident was a little unsure of how to take it—she grinned softly and then returned to eating her dinner slightly. At first she thought it was an intended slip up but when Jaehwa seemed to stuff his mouth full of food she flashed her hues with a softer glimmer.

Jaehwa—what do you do around here?” she mused, she wasn’t sure if that’d make things awkward or not so she didn’t want the silence to settle for too long. Her set of eyes flicked away from the black haired male and towards her food. She had nibbled here and there but by the looks of it now there weren’t really anything left on it. She had only a few bits of cut up steak left and worked on placing it in her mouth, “Would we work together? I’m still not really good with the jobs yet...” she murmured softly.

The fair haired wolf, as she seemed to start identifying as, soon finished her meal. Next Silvia took a quick swing of her drink as she contemplated a few different things. She would need to figure out how she could get her hands on those books. She wasn’t sure about either of those orders were and if they would be the smartest thing to get involved with—most likely going to be very regrettable. Silvia also had to plan a time to grab some gardening seeds, and take inventory on what the group actually had, doing it alone would be difficult but she could do it.
