Not particularly no. The main cause was that I misjudged the position of tea pot, so the paper was way too close to the fire

So . . . what's the situation on the IC thread? It seems like people are more active with their characters on here than the actual roleplay @.@

There's fan fiction and fanart already when they haven't even finished orientation or whatever is happening. At this rate, it'll be two years for us to reach second year, yet half of the characters are already married ooc---
I guess its nice that people are excited about their characters and possible interactions, but at this point its all talk.
I guess what I'm really saying here is: Is this group going to actually roleplay IC? Or just talk about it . . .

And here I am being staunchly against tall girls and Toki's the tallest of the three.

But it's fine, I'm not against girls being taller than boys so long as the boy is just a manlet. As long as the girl resides anywhere between 7 inches and 6 feet tall it's fine. Even if she's taller than the boy as long as she's within that zone it's fine.

2. Yes, being better with the quirk changes what you can do, but we're always talking about the quirk as it starts out. Everything else is evolved with QEP.

3.Because from what I read that seemed like the real purpose of the quirk, but it can be manipulated to the extent of becoming tentacles that's a different story. Now you can't just shape it, you can actively manipulate it's position which I think kinda reminds of Leovonis 's shadow tails?

Being unable to create the intricate interworking of a object (like the inside of a gun or instrument) and can only copy the basic shape of most objects


Having the substance be extremely weak, only being able take 3 or 4 hits before breaking apart.

Not having the ability to fly or hover off the ground using the quirk.
What else do you think I should limit?

3. I hope I didn't copy Leovonis quirk, if I did I certainly didn't mean to (I haven't actually read it). The quirk was meant to be an all-purpose kinda power.

We certainly do need to find a way to increase the amount of IC posting, but if we post on an hourly basis then people might feel pressured just to put something instead trying their hardest ever post. It's tough

Yeah, this sort of thing can make or break a roleplay.

How is that a limitation? We had already discussed you couldn't get properties from objects so those intricate things would not work regardless.

This could be very good, depending on how fast you can actually make it and/or the cooldown of it, as well as what would constitute a hit

It's hard to say, I don't feel like I am completely grasping your idea yet...

His quirk was called shadow tails and form what i understood it was also basically tentacles made of shadows

As for the all-purpose matter, I want you to keep the following in mind: The more diverse the quirk, the weaker each individual option/application should be. An all-purpose quirk would therefore have to be very very weak in each task to get approved.

Has a battleship like computer and relies on tiny bots to assist him because he is quirkless. Mostly uses his placement to back allies up, but is trying to be more offensive because he has a vendetta on the Mentoring Class.
He plans on taking one of their spots, even if he says "Me be a hero? I'm quirkless, that isn't possible."

I think a lot of the blame falls on me, as because I've decided to pour my attention into the updates and new characters, as well as in recruiting new players, I haven't been really going over the IC at all. But I assure you I am almost finished. My headaches are gone for now too, which will be a great help, if I can just think of what I need. After that, I will make an announcement stating the updates are complete and move on to focus my attention again on the IC and hopefully the plot actually moving will help peeps get motivated to post there too.

Another factor is that there a good number of our members who are almost never seen and interacting with them IC means you only get to post once a week, if that.

Well you have GMs for a reason, maybe try get some of the load off by getting them help with updates? I really don't want this roleplay to crash and burn, but what's the point if you crash and burn?

They already help a lot. And I know they would like to help more and have shown to be passionate about it (which by the way, I could NOT be more thankful for), but unfortunately a lot of these matters have to be done by me for two reasons:
1. Consistency- I am who I am, and that is a very weird person. Who thinks rather differently from how anyone else does. And the matter with that is that the rules need to be kept in mind. The lore, the mechanics, the players the various sections, everything needs to be kept in mind and in sinc. And you cannot do that if there are very different lines of thinking working in independent fashion. Hence, while I can ask my GMs for praticaly straightfoward tasks, when it comes to coming up with rules, balancing out particular details or writing up the lore, that needs to be done by me.

2. I'm the only one that knows- I know the plot, I know the lore, and if I don't know it's because it doesn't exist yet. and again, i can share some infomration and I do share some information with my co-Gms and sometimes even with regular players. But while i can let them see parts of the web, I'm the only who can know how the strings are supposed to connect.

Now, I do want to point out two things that are also important to have awareness of. A system of pesudo-approval does exist where co-Gms can approve a character in the condition the player agrees to later changing things if I deem there were mistakes in the review conducted by my co-GM. Apart from this I am also writing a guide to character rveview for this roleplay. It's a complex task, but if I succeed at it, I may just be able to leave it to my co-GMs to actually fully approve the characters.
Two, I do ask for help even to regular players here for some important tasks, or rather, i ask for suggestions. But I barely had any in those times where there was SOME response to my plea. Now, I won't go after anyone just because they didn't happen to come up with the ideas I couldn't, but I still needed those things and if i didn't get a supply of suggestions then that means I DO have to come up with them myself

Mei was a full support-coure student at UA who was only allowed to use said items to balance out the fact the support course there get no hero training.

So no, no bots. But I might consider a jetpack. Using a quirkless student basically means your hero costume will kind of be treated like a quirk, but a bit more limited due to budget reasons
