I think you're focusing to much the on the ability to craft stuff out of the quirk. It's more of tentacle themed idea than anything else.

2. Yes, being better with the quirk changes what you can do, but we're always talking about the quirk as it starts out. Everything else is evolved with QEP.

3.Because from what I read that seemed like the real purpose of the quirk, but it can be manipulated to the extent of becoming tentacles that's a different story. Now you can't just shape it, you can actively manipulate it's position which I think kinda reminds of Leovonis 's shadow tails?
