Do not just appreciate the soundtracks. Appreciate the composers as well. Shoji Meguro (the persona series) is a great composer, period. His tracks are all modern, so anyone can pick em up and listen. Yoko Kanno (the cowboy bebop anime) is both a great blues/jazz singer and composer. Pick up her other albums and soundtracks.
The best composer I have in my collection, however, is none other than Joe Hisaishi, known for his memorable works for Ghibli Studios, composing tracks for Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle, and Spirited Away, amongst others.

Only time I color speech text is when it's someone else. For myself I just embolden it to make it look black without fucking over the nightlife people.
