Fandom Boku no Hero: Peace Sign Academia OOC

I'm looking for a face claim right? The OC needs to be a bit chubby right? So I look up "Chubby anime guy" and I don't find anything. Next I type "Buff anime guy"......

.......I regret my life choices

Any of these do the trick?

What? Did is Daisuke a canon character drawing? Or do people just not normally do that?
Peeps use whatever anime pic looks closest to the character image they have or just the one that looks better I think. I personally do that. I doubt most people care about whether their faceclaim belongs to a cannon character or not, so long as it's not from a character of the same fandom. So, I wouldn't use a Deku face-claim here for example, but at least one of my characters has a faceclaim from date a live.

I just feel like there's no point to call a character "Original" if he's using an unoriginal image. I don't know, I'm weird
I see that's a valid point. Usually I prefer that people can remember the general look of my character which is easier with canon character art.

It also means that I'll be able to have multiple angles of the character.

Most RPers can't draw their own OCs, so we have to get by using other people's pictures. So at that point it's entirely irrelevant whether it's a canon character from an established media or just someone else's OC. At the end of the day we didn't make it and are just using it as a representation of what our character looks like. Our character themselves are still unique, they're our own creation. It's just the appearance we're using since we lack the ability to create our own.

As Idea said, the only real taboo is using a face claim from the same universe. Since this is a BNHA RP, using any character from BNHA is a big no no. But other than that? It doesn't matter. The benefit of canon characters over original ones is they have far more art. I wouldn't be able to do my "picture for every occasion" bullshit if I wasn't using Mashu as my appearance. That isn't to say I don't use original characters for my appearances, I use whatever I like best. But it is nice having thousands of pictures to choose from.

Like I said, I'm just a weird person.
