And that´s not all. The fairness I am trying to get here is not just an individual power not being broken, but it being possible for the other students to beat them. While I am not comparing powers between the various students in terms of power level, the very fact you can at any given time be fighting someone with what is inherently three times their power or more means their chances of beating you would rely on your character being stupid AND unlucky, neither of which is necessarily true. Not that even then they would stand that much of a chance.

The strength of her mandrakes is certainly dependent on the genes at her disposal. I imagine too many quirks (more than 3) would lead to some sort of genetic malfunction. They'll wither. Rose cannot create a god. She can try to create a god...but I don't think she'll succeed (especially not in her first year). While her mandrakes have power (maybe), she herself has the limited physical capabilities of a quirkless human. Mandrake generation takes time, especially if she's going to mash genes together. When I came up with her quirk, I imagined more versatility than strength. Also anyone with a fire quirk could probably take out her mandrakes fairly quickly. They are still plants.

I just realized that only one character's name was spoken in my entire post of dialogue. The honorific has been added. Though I know I'm going to miss something.

hmmm... We will do it like this then:

*She cannot carry someoe´s DNA for more than a day
*She can normally create a mandrake using up to two quirks on it. By stretching herself as much as possible, she can attain 3 maybe 4 quirks into one mandrake, but this must come with a large drawback/price.
*There has to be some conditional(s) that prevent her from just walking up to someone and taking their DNA in a way that the quirk can use it
*a particular mandrake does not survive more than two hours, with that amount being halved for every quirk on it.
*plus cooldown and creation time of the mandrakes, and a limit on how many can be created in a certain period


alternatively, if variability was what you wanted, you could have mandrakes be able to be produced with certain specific effects.


Thoughts?

Maybe some sort of simple toxicity/ radiation sensor. Or some fluorescent part that glows in certain PH, temperature etc.

Hmm...now we're getting pretty specific. I couldn't think of any conditions besides having to ingest the DNA. Nails, hair, pieces of skin, saliva...it's all pretty gross. It's certainly something to think about.

Haha, this is battle rp? But yes, I imagined she would have some such limitations. Rose cannot create an army.

I like all your suggestions. That said, I'm going to have to respectfully pull out of your rp for now. Not that there's anything I dislike about it (haven't joined yet), but it's clear that character adjustment will take take a bit of time to make her fit in the world. I joined out of impulse and a desire to see the Boku no Hero characters I've already created in an rp. But I'm also in other rps that I'm invested in. I don't want to start in late and join half-heartedly (like I seem to have done impulsively :/). Perhaps, once my schedule clears a bit, I'll take all the suggestions into consideration and try again with Rose. Or make an entirely new character. Whichever the case, I appreciate the feedback and apologize for any inconveniences I may have cause.
