that reminds me i need to finish writing that thing
Remember nobody is allowed to change anything without directly telling me and later getting approved againI think I might chance Avery's appearance or costume because...
This one seems so perfect!
Alrighty, still gotta work on personality as wellRemember nobody is allowed to change anything without directly telling me and later getting approved again
I wanted to make a character blind but Trombone already did that. Would two blind people be too much?
No, I don't think it's a problem. Just look at Kirishima and TetsutetsuThough the quirk she'd have would let her see while using it.
I know if tournament is a thing and Riba won. She would definetly pin Lian down and force her to look into the camera for her family before saying. "You know me. I'm just a villain after all." With a toothy smug grin before walking away xD
Perfect! Nice work with the battle :3The crowd (it was nowhere as big as U.A.’s sports festival, but due to the alpha school’s endorsement, there was quite a large audience) that was gathered in the stadium cheers the appearances of the students in the arena as the announcers, Chameleon and Palatine, broadcast the names and short blurbs on the next two freshmen who were fighting against each other. The coliseum was impressive for a school like PSA, but unlike U.A., there was no special room for the announcers, those in charge of building it hadn’t quite finished it yet in time for the sports festival, thus the two teachers were stuck sitting in lifeguard chairs just far away enough from the stage to avoid friendly fire. “On the right side of the ring,” the Guardian Hero proclaims fervidly, accidentally hitting Chameleon in the face with her right arm as she swings it to the side to point the direction of the upcoming fighter, “is Lián Shimuzu, the steam-machine of the mentoring class!” Making her way onto the stage, Lián smiles and waves at the viewers and cameras. While showing off her skills in the tournament was exhilarating, her real reason for being there would be her little brother, Shan, who would be sitting too close to the screen, urging her to go on and be the hero he wants her to be. She breathes out and cracks the knuckles of her hands, glaring down at the opponent that was walking out.
Knowing Yori’s passion for showing off the kids and yelling into a microphone was much more encompassing than his own, Chameleon lets his coworker hog the spotlight. “On the left side, Riba Hone, the bone mistress of the same class!” Reasons for fighting this fight was symbolic to Riba, a victim overcoming her bully’s torment. Rolling her head, feeling the satisfied clicks of her joints popping in her neck, she returns Lián’s glare with something much more terrifying, a deadly smirk. She was going to prove to Lián, and her family, that she was not going to be a villain, but a hero to all. The girl had worked too hard, to points of exhaustion, for this moment. The spectators continue their hurrahs as Riba meets Lián on the stage, the two of them growling at each other like rabid dogs fighting for their territory. The antagonism between the two girls was strong, and the obviousness of it was beginning to dawn on everyone watching. However, no person would expect them to brawl to the death. Unfortunately for the students who had been in the same class and have actually seen the two in action, they knew someone was going to end up bloody and broken. Both physically and mentally.
As soon as Palatine exclaims for them to begin, Lián starts her attack by kneeling down and launching herself with bursts of steam towards her prey. Riba expected the swift strike, taking a few steps back away from the other girl and upping her ante as well, making her bones denser in order to block the next attack, in which Lián swings her right leg (powered with steam) into Riba’s left side. She takes the hit, yet is unwavered due to her defenses. Taking hold of Lián’s leg, the taller girl tugs her closer, disrupting Lián’s balance, her back landing on the ground. Riba lets go and balls her fists, the bones erupting from her skin and showing off two sets of claws on each hand. She goes to slam her right fist down into Lián’s body, yet the smaller girl had managed to escape by kicking her feet up and spraying Riba’s body with the hottest water vapor she could muster. Riba recoils at the heat, pulling away instinctively. Lián uses the opportunity to roll away and get up, wiping away the water droplets from her face. Quickly jumping back into the fight, Lián continues with a crescent kick at Riba’s face. She flinches at the impact of her foot against Riba’s skull, but pushes on to spray the steam right in her face as well, however the bone girl had covered her face with her forearms in the few moments it took Lián to reposition her leg.
The girls go on and on like this, one-upping each other with dodges, kicks, and punches with their quirks specializing each move. But a little more than 10 minutes pass, Riba’s whole body is aching and sensitive from trying to protect herself from Lián’s onslaught of attacks and hit her at the same time, and Lián is starting to suffer from the effects of dehydration. Her body can’t keep up with the demand of water along with the rate at which she had been using it, and so her head is pounding and she can barely see straight, but she knew she had just enough water in her body for her special move at half the power, but sufficient to either push Riba off of the stage or knock her out. Lián sways in one spot, trying to focus on the blurring Riba, who was approaching fast, too fast, to finish this off. Deciding that if Lián didn’t do anything to stop her now, she would lose, so she raises her leg and fires off her last blast. Yet as she does so, her limbs spasm at the difficulty of keeping her leg up, her left knee buckles and the geyser was aimed towards the announcers.
Chameleon notices the blunder and yells at Palatine to stop talking into the mic. Knowing that Yori wouldn’t be able to project a large enough shield to protect themselves in time, Masaru topples the chairs and the two fall just low enough so that the stream wouldn’t hit them. Luckily for the audience, the distance of the steam was too short to even spray them. Lián groans and her face hits the floor, her whole body slumping and following suit, unable to move at all from the large amounts of stress she had placed from her body, and the severe dehydration she had put on herself. Riba looks down at her rival, holding in the urge to spit on Lián. Yet she leans down over her, and sneers, talking just loud enough for Lián to hear before she passes out, “how’s it feel to lose for once, hm?” A camera drone flies closer to get better shots of the scene, and Riba takes the advantage of pulling Lián’s head up by her hair. Only a slight groan escapes her lips, while Riba speaks louder for the camera, a message to her family. “You know me. I’m just a villain after all.” Natural Flora rushes up the stage to shoo Riba away and take Lián from her, confirming the K.O. while getting the help she needs. From underneath the mess that was the lifeguard chairs, Yori announces the winner of the match. (im too lazy to write a decent ending, i lost motivation im tired now lmfao. hope u liked it tho)
i got lazy near the end so it's not really great. i might come back to it later eventually
