Well, the thing about the "daddy" you said before made me think maybe it would be fun to have my character have a sort of father or mother figure among her colleages? But then I remembered the teachers and thought maybe they would fit better in that role.

In any case, just to clarify, in their conversation in this episode what was stated was that was that the Nomus can't be made by just pumping DNA into them, they wouldn't survive it. What they stated was that their bodies had to be carefully modified to the detail so that they could host more quirks, which someone had to give them with a quirk of their own.
In other words, you can't genetically induce quirks without using a quirk for it yourself.

What about rather than a father figure, my character is a big brother figure? He's already the actual big brother of 4 people, and is loved as the reliable big brother he can be, so that's an option.

well, he's already a big brother figure to his younger siblings, as he is the eldest child in his family. but if what you're talking about is relations to other character, not one of them thinks of him as a big brother. rival, yes. friend, yes. but big brother, no.

and besides, who says i can't have him be the big brother figure for multiple people?

well, he's already a big brother figure to his younger siblings, as he is the eldest child in his family. but if what you're talking about is relations to other character, not one of them thinks of him as a big brother. rival, yes. friend, yes. but big brother, no.

and besides, who says i can't have him be the big brother figure for multiple people?

If had to compete with other little sisters, that would be a bit of a deal breaker for me, that was why I was worried about it.
