Has anyone else experienced their images breaking in their oc's character sheets? Aya's has broken at least 3 times already, and I have to keep fixing it >.>

Random Writing thing:
"The Silly Rabbit"

The cartoon clouded the room with it's noise, filling the ears of a mother and her boy. They sat on a ragged couch in front of a small tv as she watched the screen. Both smiling at the whimisical antics of the characters. On the screen, a silly rabbit looks into the camera with a sly grin as they gesture over at a silent joke.

The Mother laughs.
The boy does not.

"Why are you laughing?" The boy asks with a slight tilt of his head to raise the ear closet to his mother.

"Its nothing really . . ." She trails off watching her son's expression start to deflate. "The rabbit just made a silly face, that's all." The mother's smile faltered as she tried to explain the joke. Offering no more than a quiet oh in response, the boy frowned. His mother searched around the room as if the cure was floating around. Nothing but gimmicks of a silly rabbit.

The boy began rubbing his right palm uneasily, the cartoon droning on as mere background noise to a dreadful silence.

"Here,"
The mother snaps her fingers to draw his attention to her. The boy's head turns to her direction, his head tilting in confusion as his mother grabbed his hands.
"You still remember my face." The mother raises the boy's hands to her face. The boy's hands rested on his mother's face, still perplexed with what was happening around him. The mother held his hands in place just for a moment before nodding, "Go on." she let go and relaxed her expression.

The boy patted around her face lightly, blindly feeling his mother's features. Without warning, the mother shifted her expression into her attempt to mimic the rabbit's grin. He paused, then continued to feel the changes in her face. A smile started to grow as he realized what his mother was showing him.

The boy laughed.
The mother smiled.

"He really is a silly rabbit." The boy hummed as he pulled his hands away, content with the image.
The mother watched him turn his body towards the Tv and agreed, "He is a silly rabbit."

The cartoons played but her gaze lingered on his closed eyes. She reached out and took his hand into hers, giving it a short squeeze then facing forward. The mother watched the tv absently, occasionally glanving over at her son. The Silly Rabbit continued to dance all over the screen but she closed her eyes, listening in on the sounds with her son.
"A very silly rabbit."

That's just a random thing I just wrote up that I wanted to share.

The scene is a memory that belongs to a character that I was brainstorming about. I was trying to convey certain things, and show rather than tell. I haven't written something like that in a while . . . Well I haven't wrote a disconnected scene idea since I finished my Creative Writing class, so it feels nice to try writing something out again.

Any thoughts? >.>

I really like it! It’s sweet and cute, with a slight sadness to it but lighthearted :3
