Realistic or Modern Boarding School Hostage

Gale more or less goes along quietly. It seems like he'll be fine until he's next to the guard beating Jethro. "I killed four of them, though. He probably only knocked them unconscious."

Sage spat into the guard's face. " Fuck you , you dumb scumbag. " he said with venom dripping from every word as he glared with anger. He was promptly thrown to the ground and the man stomped on his stomach. He gritted his teeth but didn't make a sound , not wanting to give them the satisfaction of knowing they could make him scream.

Gale sees the kid get stepped on and inwardly sighs, secretly relieved that he distracted the guards for a bit.

Anna glared at the guards, but didn’t try anything in her weakened state. She was glad she had decided to stay in her uniform, as others seemed rather cold.

Gale's set of guards takes him over to the guards surrounding Lilth. They begin chatting.

"Enough!" Ian called out, pushing the guard off of Jethro and pulling Jethro to his feet. Not so much out of concern but more as he wanted to get things on the move. He pushed Jethro towards the door. It was easy to tell that Jethro was bleeding again. It seemed that his face had unluckily found a sharp rock on the ground. He now had a cut stretching from just above his left cheek bone up across his nose and over his right eye. Luckily, his eye had not been damaged.

Jethro looked back at the guard that had given him the cut, he looked him right in the eyes and said,

"Sometime soon, I am going to kick you in the face. I promise you that."

He continued looking at the man for a few more moments before he and the others were pushed out into the hallway.

Lilith looked at Ian once they were in the hallway,"What are we doing here Ian. I'm sick and tired of suspense," she grumbled. Her eyes still had dark circles around them from the lack of sleep. She was tired and grumpy, if it wasn't for the handcuffs she would have atleast punched and bitten someone right now.

She looked at Jethro's face and sighed, he always had blood on him recently. From the way things were going, she could predict a lot more blood in his future.

Ian looked at the girl,

"Usually, talking to me in such a way would earn you a nice punishment. However, just this once I'll answer you. In the future, should you try to order me about I will punish you. As for what you are doing here, it is so simple I figured you'd have figured it out by now. We are holding you hostage to ensure your parents do as they are told to do. Each of your parents have been scrambling around for the last few hours because they have no idea where their precious children are. We are now going to inform them by live video feed that we have you and that if they don't follow the instructions that have been delivered to them, that they may not have much of a child left after we are through with you." Ian explained. He was smart, he knew the hidden threat of "after we are through with you" would cause the kids minds to exaggerate what their futures could hold and the kids would effectively be terrifying themselves.

Anna began to shake slightly, terrified. She thought about all the plans she had had for her life, all the goals she had yet to accomplish. There was so much- she hadn't even told her dad she loved him when she left, because she was angry about having to go to the school. She felt her eyes begin to water but she frowned at herself, determined not to let them defeat her. On a stupid whim she tried to punch the guard nearest her, but he easily blocked it.

Lilith smirked at the man with no sign of fear, as it had yet to kick in with the sleepiness,"Thats funny. You think half of the parents in this room even care? Hell, my dad cares about me but all you will do is piss him off. Sure he would do what you say but only before he could hunt you down and destroy you. And I bet threats mean a hell of a lot when the person you're threatening can't do anything about it. What a strong person you must be Ian." She yawned and rolled her shoulders despite the handcuffs,"These damn things are pissing me off...." She pulled tight on them and struggled for a moment before giving up.

Max stood still staring at a the wall on her left. She was still trying to process everything that had happened that morning. Her shoulder was sore wear a bruise was forming from one of the guards grabbing her roughly out of bed. The initial fear had passed and now she was just in a kind of numb state of shock. She just kept picturing the guard stomping on Jethro and the horrible helpless feeling she got in her stomache when she couldn't do anything. She hadn't even been able to let out a shriek because her airways had been blocked by a hand around her throat. She had never had so little control.

Jethro allowed himself to be led down the hallways. He could still feel the guard's boot on the back of his head despite it having been removed. He would glance back to look at the others but he had a feeling that doing so would be rewarded with another hit. He kept his eyes alert though, not moving his head but instead moving his eyes, scanning everything around him and trying to memorize the building layout as he went.

They were eventually led into a wide room, they were forced to sit against a wall. In front of them, a camera was set up. It was connected to a laptop on a nearby table.

Lilith was growling and looked genuinely terrifying. She looked at the other kids next to the wall and then the guards,"Wait till I get out of these cuffs...just wait...," she growled at them. She looked at the camera and shifted her feet uncomfortably. She looked around the room for anything she could use. All fear was out the window at this point and she had to use it to her advantage. This small burst of courage could help her. She looked at Jethro and wondered why he wasn't acting. If anything he seemed like the one to be planning escape. His lack of action made her wonder what would happen to them. She looked at the camera again and chuckled,"You guys are no match for our parents....," she said under her breath. There was killer intent in her eyes, something she directed towards each guard individually. She memorized their faces for future reference.

Jethro looked calmly at the men, then he heard Lilith's out burst.

"Settle down Lilith. Even your father knows not to go after Ian here. The Spetnez are immensely dangerous. Even more so then your dad's people. The fact that he is confident enough to share your face to your father and still not worry tells you something about him. Just calm down for now. An angry mind is rather clouded." Jethro responded before Ian had the chance.

@Marie Rain

Lilith pouted when she heard that. He was right and she knew it. She sighed,"Fine I'll be good," she said before glancing back at Ian,"For now." She would probably be in a bad mood the rest of the day for being woken up. She looked down at her clothes and rolled her eyes,"They could have at the very least let us get properly dressed, I'm not even wearing shoes!" Lilith leaned back against the wall, propping one bare foot against the wall for balance, she looked bored more than anything.

Sage rolled his eyes at what Ian said about punishment and stood next to Lilith before glaring at the guard who stomped on him. His stomach was screaming at him but he didn't show any pain. " I agree with you , I have been in these clothes for too long. " he said with a annoyed frown on his face.

Gale hears Ian say that their parents have been scrambling around looking for them. He laughs a bit. "What, even my parents? They don't give a ray's ass about me. They have and older son and I didn't do as they said. I'm not even their real son."

Anne stayed silent, but in her head she thought that it was likely that her father was not looking for her either. She looked directly at the camera, determined to make sure that they didn't think they were in any way scared.

Makai had been woken up just like everyone else, but instead when he refused to get up after they cuffed him the biggest guard picked him up and started walking,'I hate these guys right now' Makai thought as they were walking in the hallway until they were went inside a room with a camera,'This must be the room where they are going to video us to our parents live to worry them if not get a rise out of them' Makai thought as he was sat down.

The twins were woken up and cuffed then walked through a hallway. The entire time the twins were thinking about Maxs' death and looked at each other. The death scared a few girls and screams were heard, but Madison was fine.To the twins they've seen this before and even worse,'At least it wasn't the head right?" Madison whispered to her brother as they were sat down then they looked at the camera. This made Michael feel akward. He didn't like camera's.There was a lot to say about how much Michael didn't like camera's.

Gale flips off the camera. "I don't need my brother's parents to help me. Jack, if you see this, help me if you want, but don't let our parents suddenly start to care about me and come in to try to save me and make things worse."

Ian stood in front of the camera, at his signal the red light came on and the broadcast was live. Ian stood in silence for several moments before he began speaking.

"Hello those of the government hierarchy. You leaders of nations, royalty, crime bosses, geniuses, high ranking military officials, Hollywood beloveds and so on and so forth. Your attention may have already been drawn to those young ones behind me. At this point, you'll notice if you haven't already that these are your children, your sons and daughters. These high valued children were invited to join me at my compound until such time as I feel ready to release them. It will become apparent to all of you when that will be. Until such time, you are to follow the instructions that have been sent to your personal email address. Failure to do so will result in your son and/or daughters death. Do not bother to trace the signal, you ought to figure that I am far smarter than that. Do as your told or be punished."

-------------------

Jethro looked straight into the camera, after a few moments he began putting his hand to his upper arm. He mimed as if he was giving himself a shot. Then following it by looking as if he was looking at the map. He repeated the signal several times before he finally stopped. Hoping nobody but those that were receiving the stream had noticed and most of all, he hoped his father would notice. If anyone could figure out what he meant, it was his father.

Lilith bit her lip in impatience. She did not want to look at the camera to let her family see her eyes. They could see the fear in her that most others could not. Her father, uncles, brothers, cousins, all of them would see this. She hated herself for being so open and leaving the chance for attack. As she glanced over at the others she wondered who would make it out of here alive. Hearing Ian's message made her realize one thing. She needed to fight. If she did not find a way to fight then why even bother living with the slim chance of escape. Lilith took a breath and stook up straighter.

Anna tapped on her handcuffs, telling her dad not to worry covertly. She had trained in as many forms of communication, including four languages. She figured that, even if she didn’t join the army, languages can be useful in many different careers. She looked directly into the camera, refusing to show them how scared she was. If they showed their fear, their parents will panic, and fear will stop them functioning efficiently. At this moment she was glad of her father’s position, though it had annoyed her so may times before.

Without even a glance, Ian spun and slammed his pistol in the side of Anna's head knocking her over. He faced the camera once again.

"Your little signals and plans won't serve you well here."
