"Good, giving up is nothing short of an abomination." Jethro replied, tearing his gaze off the wall and letting it focus on her.
"You don't have to be like your mother to be great. All you have to do is be you to the fullest of your abilities. Greatness will find you." He continued.

Ian sat in a charge staring at the wall. He was thinking, his fingers rhythmically tapping the chair he sat on. One of the men knocked on the door.
"Come in." Ian said, his gaze rising to the door as a man came in.
"Sir, the equipment is all set and ready to go." He reported.
"Good. We will give the parents a few hours to suffer in uncertainty. Then we will proceed. Until then, tell the men to rest. It would be counter productive to have all of you exhausted." Ian replied.
"Thank you sir." The man replied before leaving, closing the door as he did so.
