Who knew this winter would be so cold?
In the northern region of Japan, a thick blanket of pure-white snow covered the ground, it being the result of the harsh weather from the night prior. Currently, it was the twentieth of December, which had fallen on a much beloved Friday. Naturally, schools were left open and were expected to begin their sessions relatively soon–now, on a normal Friday this would've been a complete and utter pain, but today was the last day before winter break officially began (though that part really only has relevance to you if you're a student).
Generally speaking, around this time of the day, people are normally out working, heading to work, or perhaps they're still snuggled up within the confines of their residence; the day has just begun and it feels like it'll be a good one at that. What about for you? How will you decide to start off your day?
