BloodLines

No, no. You don't like doing that. So we can just hunt or something.

Ana looked at the homework and laughed.

"You mixed up the formulas, goofball." Mike knew this, and he'd been waiting for Tommy to realize it. It was algebra, and Antje hated it hard core. Tommy looked at her to Mike, and to Shane. Antje seemed to know what she was doing.

"Slope is rise over run, and you can check it with the graphs in the book. So if your slope is right, then you can predict the next point on the graph." she felt like a nerd.

Tommy seemed to understand a little better, and she mentally decided she'd go when he finished his homework. She wanted to go home, because Rachel's words hurt her.

Ana looked at Shane, and smiled a little. It was hard to maintain a pleasant, unknowing outward appearance when she wanted to curl up and wake up not as ugly or skinny or false.

Which was all trying to dodge the link to hide from Lucifer.

We’ll see how you feel when we leave. Lucifer said back.

“You look a bit off Ana. Relax some.”
Shane said pleasantly while she helped Tommy. Tommy laughed and pointed at the chart, “You mean this is what I am trying to do?” He asked.

Matt face palmed himself and let out an exaggerated sigh,
“Idiot. What the hell is wrong with you?”

Richard laughed a bit and put a hand on Tambra’s shoulder and smiled at her, telling her to relax a bit.

Antje faked her calmness very well. Tommy seemed to slowly understand the homework, and she looked outside. It was dark out there, which meant she could have an excuse.

Antje was happy to see Lucifer, probably much more than he was to see her. His scent was sweet but manly, and it probably smelled good because he was thirsty. She found herself inadvertantly smelling good to him. But she wasn't too worried. Instead of hugging him like she wanted to she took his hand with hers and linked their fingers together.

"How was work?" she asked while he led the way.

Lucifer glanced up with Antje approached him, he felt her and smelt her. Truthfully, he wanted to feed off Antje more than some human. The only problem, she stunk. “Antje… you smell horrible. Like dog. Did you pet a stray dog or something?” Lucifer asked, feeling a little bad after he said it, Antje was rather sensitive sometimes. “Come on, let’s walk home and get a shower first.” He said, graving her hand and pulling her home. He was feeling a bit anxious right now, for a reason he was not sure.

Antje blinked. "Oh. That."

So this kid runs head on into me right before class, and then he starts talking to me all day. He's nice, a little náive, and even though I thought he was kind of annoying he still managed to sort of be my friend. So then he asks me to go to the cafe place that I just came from. He sort of "slipped" and called his friends his "pack". So I had to sit and pretend to be human in a room full of werewolves. And I could sort of hear their link.

She looked down at the sidewalk, waiting for him to be angry with her for doing such a dumb thing. Which didn't help Rachel's comments about her go away. She'd probably be stuck in a depression about that for a while. Thank god she had a heartbeat, though, which really saved her ass. She didn't know what he would do if she were killed.

Lucifer tightened his hand around hers, his mind racing. He was unsure if they should leave, they had spent months setting themselves up a place to hide. All this work would go to waste, but what good was the work if Antje’s life was in danger? What good would any of this be if he lost her now to a pack of dogs? He wanted to tell her she should have left as soon as she knew… but that would be suspicious. Maybe she did the right thing staying around them.

Lucifer’s chest tighten, he was afraid. He seemed so fearless when he first meet Antje, and now he was scared of everything. “If I had moved here a few months ago, before I meet you… I would not have cared if there were some muts around. But now… Do you think me a coward Antje? That now that I feel your life in danger, our life together… That I am ready to turn tail and run?” He asked her out loud. The honesty in his voice scared him, and the question itself sickened him. Was he now a cowered? He needed to know.

Antje looked up at him, feeling his fear. The last thing in the world she ever wanted to do was worry him or get him hurt. She never once considered him a coward. How could he be? He willingly put himself as her guardian, he put her first above everything else, including his freedom, and his own hiding, he put all that aside for her.

"You're not a coward. If anybody is the coward it's me..I mean, you're always saving the day. You're not a coward." she repeated. They both had eachother's safety in mind. Naturally she had much affection for him for all he'd done for her, but a lot of her affection toward him came from somewhere else.

She knew he wasn't used to being so unsure of himself, and she squeezed his hand back and walked a little closer to him, trying to help him calm down.

Lucifer felt her hand tighten on his, he felt her press closer to him, and he felt her honesty. They were almost to the house, to their sanctuary. When the door of their small home appeared, Luke pulled her with a bit of force to the house, picking up speed. He flung the door open and then closed it, pushing Antje against the door, pinning her under him. His eyes pulsed with hunger, not just hunger for blood, but hunger for Antje. The darkness in the house as well as the girl pinned between his arms settled Lucifer’s nerves.

He could see her perfectly. She had grown. Her body was a little taller, slimmer. Her face had lost a lot of it’s baby fat and slimmed to angled features. She had transformed into a women right under his nose. He had been trying not to look at her, but now it was impossible, he needed to look. “Tell me again Antje. Tell me how you feel.” He said, his voice barely raised over a whisper. He had no idea what was wrong with him today, what had driven him to act like this.

He watched her eyes for a few more fierce minutes, waiting for her answer before he leaned down and pressed his lips down on hers. At first he kissed her softly, lovingly and tender, but he soon deepened the kiss. He kissed her in a way they had never kissed before, a kiss that felt like it broke several walls he has kept up between them. His hand moved from the door to her cheeks, cupping them gently while pulling her face closer to his.

(Edited the last part a bit. It sounds MUCH better now.)

Antje was quite surprised, and she knew it wasn't just her scent that made him become riled up. Being pinned wasn't a terrible thing, and she thought about the night she really found out who he was and he'd pinned her somewhat like this. It was different to be kissed like that, but she liked it all the same.

He was an excellent kisser, which made her tingle and her knees feel like rubber. She had to slow down a little to catch her breath and her heart to decelerate.

She liked the idea of this more often, and she was very happy that they could have a place to be safe. Antje also quietly whispered her affections to him through the link.

Lucifer felt everything; she was leaving the link open for him. She gently sent her emotions to him, washing over his unmoved heart. He kissed her for as long as he could before she had to breath, he felt her knees began to weaken through the guardian link. To solve her problem, he wrapped one of his arms around her waist holding her closer to him, ensuring that she could no longer leave his side, “Tell me out loud.” He breathed to her, their lips inches apart.

Closing in on her lips again, he kissed her harder. He held the kiss for as long as he could before she needed to breathe again. Curse her inferior human like lungs. But he knew, he knew if he had lungs and a heart, he would breathe hard and his chest would be pumping at the same rate as Antje’s.

“Tell me.”
He insisted his voice low and soft, yet demanding.

Antje stood on her tip-toes and leaned up to his ear. She had absolute adoration for him, unconditional feelings for him.

"I'm yours." she said. She was louder than a murmur, and she felt a little faint for finally telling him that.

"I love you.." she finally added, getting off of her tiptoes to look at his reaction. He was beautiful, his eyes, his lips, his hair. Inside he was beautiful as well, and she loved how he could make her whole body so charged with energy.

She loved him most of all.

She was thirsty, which was another interruption. He looked thrstier than her.

She leaned closer to him, her lips nearly touched his ears, but her breath made up for the distance. “I’m yours. I love you..” Those words finally graced his hears. He already knew they were true from her, but she did not know how he felt for her. He kept her in the dark about his feeling, he pushed her away because of it. Not anymore.

She stepped back from him to gaze back at him. She was searching for something, for his thoughts and emotions, reasons. “
Do you know why I am a coward? Because I am afraid of everything you are Antje. Everything you can give me. Not the things that I can take, but the Things are willing to give me. I can tell that, that is everything.” He paused, his eyes held hers. “I love you Antje. I think it’s time I start I face my fears. Loving you is one of them, I want to prove to you and myself I am not a coward… or a monster.”

Lucifer knew Antje has been waiting for months for him to tell her he loved her. He knew, but he was too afraid. Pulling her down onto the floor Lucifer kissed her lips again, but this time gently. “
I am sorry I made you wait so long, Antje. But now we need to talk before we hunt... the wolves can be a problem. My first thought is to leave, to find somewhere safer. My second though is this can be to our advantage as much as our disadvantage, as long as you stay clear from my scent as much as you can. Meaning you need to shower in the morning, and we can get you some strong perfumes later. But I think I want you to make this choice with me Antje. What do you want to do in response to this situation?” Lucifer asked, sincerely wanting her to be a part of the dissection.

Antje leaned on him on the floor, thinking. She really didn't have time to celebrate his confession, but if she stayed with him as her guardian, she'd have a lot of days to celebrate.

"They noticed my scent, though. The only thing that kept them from killing me was my heartbeat..." she put her finger to her mouth, thumbing through solutions.

"I should finish my semester out, and if they become a bigger problem we should go.." she finally thought.

"We should go to the next county to hunt. They have this whole county under their territory, so it's a necessary evil. I need to fix my tattoo so it looks human, and we should be okay..." she laced her fingers with his, her heart slowing back to normal. She knew he wasn't a monster, or cowardly, but it seemed like it was something he needed to show himself. The walls he'd put up were down, and in a sense, the old aristocrat in him finally mixed with the person he'd always wanted to be.

He was so many things to her, and she was overjoyed that somehow she made him happy.

Lucifer felt her lean on him more, intertwining her fingers in his. Leaving continue to hunt was a great idea, but getting there was the problem. They could take a cab, but their own transportation would be better. “Alright. Go shower. I will call a cab.” He said, pulling both of them off the floor and pushing Antje away from the door and towards their room.

Lucifer stayed by the door and sat back down on the floor, leaned on the door. He was really hungry. What kind of door has he opened up with Antje? The fear that stopped him before started to come back to him and he was began to regret this sudden decision to confess to Antje. A tingle of happiness was present as well. Pulling out his phone, Lucifer called a cap to the house, telling them to come in an hour. After that was done, he dialed out the phone again, calling another number.

Hello… This is Lucifer Landcaster. I need a favor…. She’s fine. Yeah. If you want her to keep living, you need to solve a dog problem for me…… Two months? Are you kidding?...... Three weeks?… How about I give you three days…… Fine Two weeks, I’ll be expecting one of you.”

Hanging up the phone, he looked at the ugly device and laughed, he would have never used it if it weren't for Antje. If this worked out, he could get the pack in a treaty making Antje untouchable by them, even with them in their territory. Of course he would have to have a Magic Representative hand the order itself. He just hoped they will stay safe till then.

Make sure you ware something nice… we are hunting and I am making you attempt to catch your own food this time
. Lucifer said through the link. Antje was so awkward with people that she was horrible at hunting, Lucifer was not sure how she would survive without him. Though he could not blame her… she was hand feed till three four months ago.

Hearing a honk at the front of the house, Lucifer glanced back to see if Antje was ready yet.

Antje opened the door, all made up. She usually just used dark make-up on her eyes.

She had left her hair down and it looked different than usual, almost sexy. Leaving her hair down made a better pheremone.

She had a tunic top with colorful decorations and gray stockings. She'd pushed her hair to one side, but a few layers had escaped. Antje also grabbed her "reading" glasses to seem more human. She didn't make eye contact with him for a moment. She was beyond nervous.

Lucifer nearly laughed out loud when Antje came out of their room. Tonight might go much better then he thought it would. Tonight might be successful! Not to mention that tonight he would get her all to himself as well. She defiantly looked like a vampire out to eat now.

Very nice m’lady.” Lucifer said with a joke and he approached Antje and slowly walked around her. When he reached the front of her, he put his hand under her chin and brought her lips up for a kiss. “Time to go.” He said when their lips parted. Lucifer graved her hand and pulled her outside to the cab.

When they got in the back, Lucifer told the driver to drive two towns over. The drive took a few hours, but like always, they were comfortable and usually consist of Lucifer drilling Antje on thing she needed to do, not do, etc. Such as, ‘
Don’t drink till I get there’ or ‘Don’t forget to release your pheromones’ and lastly ‘don’t do anything stupid.’ Lucifer could not help but worry every now and again.

When they arrived at a small club that Lucifer saw on their way through town, he paid the taxi driver and thanked him. Turning back to Antje, Lucifer smiled at her, “
Ok Antje. You go in first. I will just hang around outside for a bit and then come in a little later. Remember to just look for a guy sitting by himself, and make sure he is not drunk. If you need anything don’t hesitate to call me. For now, we are siblings.” There was a slight pause in his speech before he spoke again, “Also I love you. Now go catch your food for the first time.” Lucifer said, pushing Antje to the entrance of the small bar/club.

Antje walked in and looked at the bar scene. The lighting was dim and awful, almost alcoholic in its own way. She could see smell men and women, and she could tell easily who were intoxicated and who were high or on other such things.

There was a concentrated group on the dance floor, but they were on E. It smelled salty on their breath and their eyes looked weird.

She walked around a little, like she knew what she was doing. She saw someone who looked a little young for the bar and he wasn't drinking anything alcoholic. He was a small guy. She figured if she took blood from him he'd faint. But he wouldn't die. She'd take her chances with him.

"Hi." she smiled. He heard her, and he jumped a little in surprise. He almost looked scared. She sighed and remembered to relax. The kid looked at her with an immediate crush in his eyes. She didn't really like that. It just felt weird to her. He asked some questions and she lied her way through them. She was overly nice to him, completely the opposite when she first met Lucifer. The kid had asked her if she wanted to dance after a while, but she shook her head. "I wanna go get some fresh air..." she sort of made that an invitation.

So I really absolutely hate this. So much. Everybody is either drunk or high in here except for this kid.

Lucifer smirked, he was really proud of Antje. She was growing into a real vampire right in front of his eyes. You’ll get use to it. Just take him somewhere lonely. I will be right behind you to watch you feed like normal. Lucifer said.

Lucifer had never told Antje about her potential to more likely kill a man then any normal vampire in the world, but he did try hard to teach her the dangers of over sucking blood and getting carried away. There were a few times he was worried she almost killed him. Lucky she was easy to latch on and off when she bit, her fangs not quite like a real vampires, but now sharp enough not to do damage to the skin of her victims.

Just go nice a slow
. Lucifer encouraged. After Antje got her fill, Lucifer will go get some food as well. He is too worried about Antje to feed before she feeds.

She waited around for him, finally not bothered to see him with another woman, even if it were food.

The kid sat in the alley, semi-conscious. She managed to put him down head-first, and he knocked his head really hard on the pavement. She checked on him, and he seemed to be coming out of it.

An idea struck her; couldn't she influence him? Some would say it were mind control. But he'd seem less inclined to mention what happened to him to the authorities, or report her as an attacker.

She pushed into his mind, and he was really reeling. Good, right?

"Okeydokey. I'm not real." she smiled. "Some of the people on Exctacy in the bar slipped you a roofie as a prank. You fell off the bar stool and passed out, so they put you in the alley. You hallucinated me." she felt his mind grasp her story and take it as reality.

She walked back to the front of the bar and waited patiently. She felt sort of nervous standing alone in the dark in front of a bar; hadn't she been doing the same thing that night she was attacked?

(lol, you skipped over a whole part. I was just saying he won’t hunt until after Antje finishes. Oh well)

Lucifer tried to finish quickly, getting his fill and leaving the women on a seat to sleep. When he came out he saw Antje just standing in the mouth of the ally way, her victim in the ally way floor.
Antje… I can’t believe you knocked him out. He said to her. He had too high of hopes that this hunting trip would go 100% successful, but Antje has still yet to seduce someone enough they pretty much beg you to bite them. He did not see you right? We will just avoid this bar next time. Besides, you shouldn’t really hunt in the same place twice anyway. All full and ready to go home? Or are you still hungry? Lucifer asked.

(Definitely my bad.)

"I didn't knock him out." Antje grinned mischievously. "The kids on E slipped him a roofie, and he fell off of his stool and banged his head. So they put him in the alleyway." She briefly explained how she'd sort of influenced the boy. It was hard, too, to even try to 'seduce' prey. Culturally she couldn't manage that, either. Tante had always advocated to knock people out if she ever found herself hunting.

He used to sex his prey to death to get better blood flow, he was better at acting and persuading victims, and his furousity were all natural instincts. But she didn't quite have any really natural instincts.

She was ready to leave, half-thirsty or not.

Lucifer pondered what Antje has said, wondering if that was on the list of powers that she should be experiencing. Shrugging a bit, Lucifer opened his phone and called a cab. Gently he took Antje’s hand while they waited. He knew Antje was bad at hunting, but she had to understand that this way was the hardest, but it was the most conspicuous and attached less hunters and attention of law enforcement.

“Are you ready for school again tomorrow
?” Lucifer asked, opening the cab door for Antje when the cab had arrived.

Antje smiled and said "No. But at least Shane doesn't have the same classes with me on Tuesdays." she wanted to go home, change into more comfortable clothes and spend time with Lucifer. She didn't want to be reminded of the precarious situation at school.

Instead she'd like to just sleep in his arms in the little crypt that they'd turned into a bedroom in the basement, sleeping until sunset. But lately that was her preference to a lot of things. She liked how he always curled himself around her in a protective hug, which certainly kept nightmares away.

"Are you ready for the empty nest?" she teased, squeezing his fingers. Antje remembered his kisses from earlier and that sort of answered her own question. She'd forgotten that. But only because she didn't have any time to celebrate earlier.

So Shane is his name?” Lucifer said, the car ride was feeling way too long. Lucifer was not sure what she meant by ‘empty nest’, so he opened up the link to ask her.

When they arrived at the house, they both got out of the car and Lucifer paid the driver. Opening the door and letting Antje in, Luke took note that the sun was beginning to rise. “
Time for sleep…” Lucifer said quietly before picking Antje up and taking her to their room for sleep.

(I am going to time skip… for the sake of story you are still taking classes haha.)

Eight months passed at a blink of an eye, and the Magic that promised to show up never did. This pissed Lucifer off. He and Antje still remained undetected by the wolves of the area, and Antje seemed to have almost become one of the pack. Lucifer was a little worried that someone was going to happen sometime soon.

Lucifer was up again at the crack of sunset, sitting in the kitchen preparing breakfast for Antje before her classes. Lucifer paused when the T.V. announced another murder in the area, someone completely drained of blood. Was Antje out hunting during the day? That can’t be possible because she was always in his arms. There must be another vampire present here in town now. The string of murders have been going on for a few months now and the fact that the wolves have not caught the Vampire who is doing it worried Lucifer.

Maybe it is time for me to have a talk with those wolves.” Lucifer said out loud as he poured a glass of cow blood, still awaiting for Antje to come up the satires to eat her breakfast.

Antje groggily came upstairs, brushing her hair. She'd never kept it this long, but Lucifer liked it that way. She put it into a messy bun and pulled a sweatshirt over a black tshirt.

"You don't have to make me breakfast every day.." she smiled softly. He always made her food every day. Not that he could be hurt by any sun from the windows..(they were skillfully blocked from any sort of light). But he could sleep in once in a while...

(I'll post more later. I have a doctors appointment)
