Please be reasonable with your character sheet. No Whisper of Darkness should be insane or anything. Rather, they should be very minor abilities that are unique to the individual. Additionally, I don't want to see any of the stereotypical orphan characters, the assholes who nobody can be around; any of that kind of stuff. I'm looking for unique characters that fit the theme of being barely human in some aspect or another. In other words, give me a character who's, for example, psychotic yet 'friendly', not cold and distant. (Using what will be my character as the example, psychotic but 'friendly'.)


Additionally, limit of two characters per player; meaning don't just create a bunch of characters because you feel like doing everything. Limit may be worked around or changed based on number of players and such.

Barely-Human Trait(s): An absurd level of belief in "The will of the Universe". She's perfectly willing to destroy people and property if she's convinced that "The Universe demands it". Also has a reverence for "The Cleanser" (a.k.a fire).


Personality: At first, you might mistake Ashley for little more than a bubbly, kind-hearted girl. While she is friendly and kind to others, she's also a complete lunatic who will happily ruin her friends' lives if she's convinced that "The Universe" wants her to do so. She has an inflated opinion of herself, seeing herself as "An instrument of cosmic will", although she doesn't see other people as being lesser. When she isn't carrying out "The will of the Universe", she's quite cheerful and tries to be a caring friend.


Biography: Ever since she was a child, Ashley believed that everything had a purpose or reason for happening or being there. Her family was rich because Mom and Dad had good jobs. She lived in a large house because her family was rich. She went to school because she needed to learn. She was bullied because...well, she couldn't figure that one out. Her parents were fired from their jobs because...she couldn't come up with a happy explanation. She was sent to live with her aunt because...because she was told to.


Why was her aunt found dead three days later, her house totally scorched? Because the Universe demanded it.

Name: Samantha "Sam or Sammy" Wales


Age: 19


Gender: Female


Appearance:

Barely-Human Trait(s): She has a high level of schizophrenia and schizophrenia persecutor. She has always the idea that she is being watched, followed or even touched. Her illness sometimes makes her talk with herself and had maked her have a twisted understanding of how love, friendship and happiness feels, which she believes is trainsmitted through pain. She walso has quite the affinity for "Her Shiny Best Friend" aka. a 7 in pocket swiss knife.


Personality: You might see Sam as the timid girl who is seldom getting to start the conversation, but as you get closer and friendlier with her, she becomes the cheerful girl who will ask you to cut her to prove your friendship. Also, it's most probable that you will see her walking alone in the hallways talking to no one, but keeping a vivid conversation with herself. She usually will be wearing earphones, to calm and sooth the feeling of perception of being watched and persecuted as well as to calm the "voices". If she ever gets to love or befriend someone truly, she might probably try to make a move with the knife on them.


Biography: She was an unwanted child in a dysfunctional family. Her parents were just teenagers when her father discovered that he got her mother pregnant. They tried abortion, but it wasn't allowed. Hence, her birth to this world. As a child, she was forgotten in several places on purpose and starved. Her parents answer as to why they did that was that they loved her and that's how you provide love. Later in her life, she began being struck by her mother and father. Whenever she was hit, they said that they loved her and were her friends. That became the idea of love and friendship she later developed. In school, nobody wanted to be near her because she was weird and talking alone.


One day, she was trying to prepare food in the kitchen and accidently cut herself. She then felt she was being loved by the knife. In her twisted mentality, she decided that she was going to love and befriend herparents back. She bought the swiss army knife who seemed to be the most talkative and "friendly" (cut best) to her. As she heaed to her parent's room when they slept, she gave them the whole Love treatment she believed was right, killing both of them in a gruesome and gorey way. She escaped thinking she fulfilled completely the love back to her parents.


As she ran through the forest, the police stopped searching, since they believed she was a goner. So she was left alone, walking and starving with her very best friend in her hand.

Name : Ronnie Stevenson


Age : 17


Gender : Doesn't completely understand gender binary, but accepts being called a male because that is what he has always been called.


Appearance :

Barely-Human Trait(s) : Has been diagnosed by doctors with "Antisocial Personality Disorder", better known as "Sociopathy", which is defined with :A lack of moral compass, or conscience, Inability to feel guilt for his actions, pathological lying, incapacity for love, Grandiose sense of self, and manipulative and conning.


This has led to a variety of problems with almost all schools that Ronnie has been enrolled in, and several run-ins with police agencies throughout most of Ronnie's childhood.


Personality : Although Ronnie's brain has the same makeup of serial killers, you wouldn't know it by first meeting him. Although he has a somewhat intimidating appearance, Ronnie is very charming and likable. It is easy for him to climb up social ladders, because he doesn't care who he puts down in the process. Due to his Personality Disorder, he has a constant need for stimulation and usually gets it through playing with others, pathologically and physically. He is also a regular drug user, as he has little regard for his own safety. While he can not feel love, he does favor some humans over others, and will treat those he favors very well until he needs to step over them for something he wants.


Biography : Ronnie grew up in a good home, with two older brothers and one older sister. Everyone in his family was a model citizen, each one of them loved and cared for each other, and they loved and cared for Ronnie. Ronnie, however, always disregarded his family's rules, and the rules of society. The rules of the world, for that matter. He constantly sought sensation, and would gain it through any means necessary.


When he was in the First Grade, that meant cutting up the dolls of his classmates into little, tiny pieces, and putting those pieces back in their bags.


When he was in the Fifth Grade, that meant ripping out the hair of a young girl in his class, one by one, when he tricked her into skipping a day of school with him.


When he was in the Eighth Grade, it meant starting a riot from the inside of his school, that ended up putting three teachers in the hospital.


When he was in the Eleventh Grade, it meant he was getting kicked out of his picture perfect house, because all of these minor offenses were putting dirt on their picture perfect life.

Fang believes to the soul that she is a wolf, a lone one at that, and that most


anything is a threat to her. She also has a tenancy to use others only for


her primal needs, or to mate with anyone she deems suitable, and will seek out her target


until they give in, or she has to take them forcibly, even if it means killing her foes.

Personality

Fang is hostile to say the least. She is solitary, and hates being around too many people, and will often back herself


into a corner if she has to interact. Her usual demeanor towards people is sassy and usually sarcastic. Though when she finds


someone she likes a little too much, she becomes sugary sweet to them and sucks up to them as much as she can.


Deep down, she is a little lonely, but her 'primal instincts' take over most of the time. When she finds someone


who can deal with her, there is no removing her either. She will do anything to keep them, unless they


get in the way of her love, then she will lovingly keep their teeth on her necklace.

Biography

Fang was born into a regular family, as a regular child. The only thing wrong with her was her tenancies to act out

against her peers. Her life quickly spiraled into living with her father, who rarely gave a damn about her.

This made things worse, acting out. What friends she did have, was her wolf dog, something that her father

often made fun of and shoved into the yard. Fang would feed him, and take care of the dog, which she named

Echo. He was her best friend through the beginning of high school, where she found her pack.

Now a part of the pack, she was considered the beta, someone who would do the bidding of her alpha with

little disobedience. She would hunt live things, bite into them, and bring them back for Echo and

her pack, though they often questioned where she got the meat, and why it tasted different.

Name: Aliya Gormson

Age: 18

Barely-Human Trait(s):

Although she looks very bright and normal from afar, when you get closer to her and get to know her you will understand why she has been brought the academy. Even though she her doctor has confirmed she's incapable of murder her parents are scared that she one day might hurt her younger brother, so they sent her away. Aliya has a very dark humor and speaks of death and mass murder in an almost joyful way.

Personality:

Her dark humor and bright smile people often find her creepy and curious. She loves reading and her favorite genre is romances with a happy ending(shock) because she finds them interesting as to how people can be happy with such a boring life. Aliya is very talkative and is capable of (almost)normal conversations. However she also finds first impressions very important, so if she doesn't like a person from their first meeting it'll be hard(but can be done) to get on her good side.

Biography:

Aliya was born in a high middle class home with a brother 7 years younger than her.

When she was a child her parents were often absent from home due to overwork on their jobs and she didn't really have many toys so her first "plaything" was a dead bird that she found out in the backyard.

When she was about 6 years old her 10th babysitter finally informed her parents of her peculiar behavior.

They then took her to a psychiatrist and he informed them that she was suffering from a clinical depression without the suicide thoughts and a antisocial personality disorder. Although the depression had subsided she continuously grew to love death more and more at the age of 10.

Her parents kept sending her to different clinics hoping they could help her with no result. Although it might sound like they loved her they were actually just afraid of her and didn't know what to do.

From the age of 10 to 16 she just stayed in her room reading and drawing without much interaction with other people. She was also forbidden from talking to her five year old brother when she was just 12 whom she loves.

At the age of 16 she was brought to the academy as her parents had lost all hope for her.​
