Bonded to weaponry crafted by their own souls. The flaming hearts of their soul forging their very living essence and being into weaponry to fight back.
The forged souls, tempered in battle, shaped through their own lives and experience, never the same, but not always different. They vary just as much as the people wielding them.
The weapons have various properties and not always seem like actual weapons, he'll one guy has a nail hammer as his weapon, but do you want to mess with the guy? Hell no, he's crazy as shit.
A basis for you if you want it.

Typically it manifests with a flame, forgining the weapon from within. The stronger your flame, the more you got to work with, and that comes from your willpower, which in turn comes from your ability to be a god damn bad ass.
Of course, it can be fuelled by different things to. Flames just come from wrath, which is the easiest thing to get the weaponry from.
7 deadly sins style, Pride makes your weapon all regal like, a little self confidence goes a long way. Lust, well, the want to experience the world in all of it's pleasures I mean, can make a strange weapon that can be quite tricky to deal with... can also screw with the opponent in more ways then just slashing them to bits(poisons and such)
Envy, one of the more generalist bunch, tend to have weapons that shift into other forms, one or two, or maybe even three if you work on it enough... though you might need a third arm.
Gluttony, you'd think big weapons but these guys... well... they gain power the more they destroy or rather let their weapons "feed", a freaky bunch, sometimes their weapons look more animal like then any blade.
Wrath is like envy, can be anything that looks like a real weapon, don't sell them short, a blade don't need frills to shank your kidneys.
Greed, these are flashy as hell. But are tricky to as they seem to steal the life/soul of those they hit, healing the wielder abit. Not something you want to be hit by.
Sloth... Lots of ranged weaponry here, don't expect them to be able to move much when taken out... though don't be surprised if you find the odd ball who's whipping around like sonic the hedgehog.
Do with this as you will, I'm just throwing out ideas.
Plus, our 7 deadly sins are pretty much are our 7 heavenly virtues, balance is to be achieved for true strength.
