Fandom Bleach AU (or based): From the Beginning

Anyways, do like the general idea of what @Orikanyo posted. Probably not based of the seven deadly sins or that element, though some general flow of it might be involved.


I'm kind of seeing a mix between Shinigami and how Full Bringers worked, mostly being able to reconfigure material around them into some base weapon they use as a catalyst to fight with or use abilities with. I think its a good way to start and getting into a much more advance state not needing to do such anymore with mastery going along with the user becoming more adapt really getting to their spiritual side and really accessing their inner self having to deal with their own personality to reach a sort of 'higher consciousness'. Unlike Shinigami weapons very a lot more to the point it might not even be a weapon but some item to allow them to cast magic or other things like that and use 'spells' much like a replacement for Kido just very much personalized to the individual. Hopefully it gives that feeling like Shinigami with their Zanpakto with its own little twist, perhaps even involving a nice little inner spirit to conflict with. I'll be tweaking and teasing the idea or other possible ones.

Could do a poll but figure its a lot of effort to really do so. Given the Human based Shinigami substitute is create and is basically 'new', would it be better do you think just explaining out everything of it (at least the main bits about it that you might want to plan for) or should I keep it mostly quietly just with the asumption in some ways it would be similiar to Shinigami with me explaining the basics of it and how it fucntions?


Mostly curious how much you guys think should be kept quiet for the whole 'surprise' angle. I can give just enough for planning on what direction you might ultimately seek to take your character. ^^

Hmmm, I believe that a fairly detailed explination would be helpful. Since generally people who are new to the concept may not fully understand or take it the wrong way by saying they are like Shinigami. But if there is the general info and the things which people would need to know when making their CS could be really helpful to anyone new and me as well xD

Alright, I'll go into fuller detail then. Mostly was just trying to keep its path a bit hidden is all and giving the core elements to it explaining it out to give an idea of how it worked just not into the finest points of it being something the person experiences later on. I'll toss up a thing for it hopefully soon for those who do want to play that particular role here so any questions/feedback can be given about it.

Sorry about the delay finally have it here for those who are curious. Might refine how its type but I just wanted to have it posted up as a basis for you all to look over and comment on. In TLR form, its basically taking after the aspect of spiritualism such as from the monks or the aspect of chakra. Rather then a spirit the user interacts with their inner 'dark' self growing to know it and ultimately have to conquer it and achieve 'zen' to fully master themselves. Comment away and tell me how you like it. ^^

Savant (Human Shinigami Variant)


Savant were once humans who after the events of the echo began to awake gaining new abilities. Unlike Enhanced Humans, Savant all gained abilities following a very similar principal behind the power. The users ability to control and manipulate the power relies upon them growing a connection with their inner self, possessing a voice and 'consciousness' of its own reflecting the 'dark' side of themselves hidden deep away. It is believed that the power itself might be linked with the users ability to become a shinigami in the afterlife.


The Savant possess a special type of item (much like a shinigami has a Zunpakuto) called an artifact that can manifest in many different forms taking a unique shape for each individual. It can appear as a weapon, to a a necklace, or any object that holds significance. Much like a Zunpakuto, their powers are limited to a single element. A Savant that 'masters' themselves and their powers is often considered to instead be called a Sage, having been considered to of 'transcended' the restrains of their human body to become fully aware.

Stage 1: Awakening





The user's abilities will manifest itself suddenly. The actually events needed seem varied, although high levels of stress or danger has shown itself to be a great catalyst for the user subconsciously tapping into their abilities. The user will concentrate on gathering Reishi, eating away at the landscape enough to form their artifact. In this form the artifact will appear rather simple appearing as typically a normal weapon or a simple looking object difficult for anyone unaware to tell the difference.





Stage 2: Calling


The next step involves the user having adjusted to their abilities, growing more awareness to it. After a certain point, they will hear a faint voice inside themselves. Known as the 'call' the user will attempt to contact to the voice though will need to adjust themselves to establish such a connection. Once the connection is established they can stat their 'calling' often consisting of the name of their artifact with a command unique to the user. Their artifact takes on a more advance form, no longer relying upon Reishi to be shaped but instead through their own Reiryoku having a more distinguishable shape. Depending on the user, their 'Called' state can be kept dormant and awaken by the chosen word. Even when dormant, their artifacts are much stronger and difficult to break, although some weapons might be kept in an active state.






Stage 3: Chaos


The users ability to progress relies on the difficult (and in cases impossible) task of conquering over one's inner self. The *name* has to converse with their dark side, attempting to overcome it in some form in both mind and body. This process itself is difficult to even attempt relying upon the user having grown adapt at their abilities and established full communication with the voice. Should the user be able to defeat such an element within themselves, they must attempt to establish full control of their body or risk falling permanently into a coma. Should they achieve zen, the user will have full access to their abilities and achieve the next stage.





Stage 4: Enlightenment


The Savant that has managed to overcome their inner chaos can finally achieve the state of enlightenment. At this point the Savant is often labeled a Sage, surpassing the elements of their humanity often restraining themselves. A sage has the ability to channel their pure spiritual power in a form known as Enlightenment through the use of calmly focusing and uttering a word unique to each individual. In this state their Artifact transforms into a much more powerful stage and their abilities greatly heightened. Enlightenment itself is limited by the user how long they can maintain it, drawing completely upon their Reiryoku to fight. Over-all mastery of such a technique is difficult for the user, though it can slowly be achieved as the user become more adapt at maintaining such a state and can more effectively use such abilities.

Its so entwined in the person that they work together in order to fully access the person's power becoming a mutual relationship with some hurdles.

I didn't read every single thing yet, namely every stage past 1. But it sounds really awesome. Can't wait for this to start. I have a Fullbringer I can edit to fit as a Savant too ^-^
