Which is where it originated from, but in short a Deus Ex Machina is basically having some solution to a problem just somehow work itself out of nowhere. So your 1 dollar short of buying food, magically a dollar would appear or the vendor would give you a 1 dollar discount so you can just pay without any provocation.

Hmm general leaning I noticed for the town to be based somewhere else. Still going to give it a chance to shift if people suddenly decide to vote elsewhere, but I'll probably end up asking for requests for a city people like this RP to take place near (or in if the votes swing to take place directly in a city).

Setting: An original Town Outside a large City. Feel free to start suggesting cities to take place outside of.


Shinigami: Going to go with a human variation on it. Feel free to suggest any ideas or things you want with it. Not 100% sure what I'm doing with it though I'm leaning at it being quite similiar though just with some variation. ^^

Everyone: I'd like some general cities tossed in you all like being used of which the town might take place near. I'm leaning to try and get 3-5 possible ones for us to vote on. Personally I do have my bias towards New York or London, though naturally other cities could just as easily work as well. Suggest away (just poke me with the tag) so i can try tossing together a poll for it.


As far as the shinigami human adapted version of it, I'm completely open to input for it. I might create a few version to vote on. Feel free to speak up if you have any ideas or wants (if your wanting to play such a spot in particular it would be good to say ) so I can work towards creating it in a way that helps to give its on flavor while being close in style to shinigami. ^^
