Obligatory update:
I'm going to try putting up the thread this weekend if all possible. Story wise I'm going to take advantage of the character's experience to be vague.
In short though the story is following along the lines of Bleach... in short snip it of the general idea (not touched up or pretty or anything just a heads up. )
Once someone dies they become a spirit having their chain disconnected from their body. Plus are spirits lingering in the world for some reason keeping them from moving on. Hallows are those who stay to long and have their soul chain burned fully away corrupting them and causing them to devour the souls of the living or dead.
The roleplay starts a few weeks after a strange event in which a wave of Reiatsu (for the inexperienced, its basically a persons energy that is being released, also called spiritual pressure. In high amounts it can be felt) washed over the city that even normal humans could feel. Since that event, there have been humans who have begun to show signs of having powers. Many who had been able to see spirits started to adapt to having abilities, while those who might never of had such abilities suddenly found themselves being able to look on Plus for the first time. The characters will all find themselves tossed in together (likely some familiar faces between one another, or people you see around) in the conflict and taking on the role of the protectors of the city as an influx of hallows has taken hold over the city, all while trying to figure out the mystery of how they all got their powers suddenly at the same time and solve the mystery.
