Eeehh... I haven't seen Bleach (I plan on it) and I think directly learning about it through the use of anime/manga would be a bit better than winging it with the provided stuff, you know? In any case, maybe another time lol^^

Alright. Hmm, to be honest scenario wise not 100% on it... though might still just join since I do have an Espada character in mind. I am bias against any of the elements added after the arrancar arc. ^^;;


I know I'm a weird sucker for wanting to explore bleach starting more like series with being on earth of clueless people then getting in the flow like the show so it does taint myself to be more skeptical of a scenario.


In short (aka ignoring my random nitpicking) I'll probably possibly toss my hat in for this. Consider it half interest, not 100% sure. ^^

Yeah I understand what you mean and that would be a good idea - but I felt a lot of people would like the chance to start with some stuff. If you choose to make an Espada that would be nice since we're lacking those atm. As for the character development side of things I'm still open to that - the first arc is mostly going to be character driven and I would encourage trying to make a character that maybe witnesses something they shouldn't have? And while the thing might not notice it I guess she/he could eventually find out for themselves what it is and look into it more before running into a Shinigami/Visored/Fullbringer

That is pretty much the amount I have watched - the only main canon aspects you will need to know is how powers work. You can refer to the mechanics tab and if that doesn't help as much as you hoped you can always ask me as well. I look forward to seeing your CS if you make one.

  Shuì has lean, athletic, muscular build. His arms have quite a bit of definition, his veins and muscles showing even without flexing. His chest and upper area are also defined as well. He is a bit tall, but average for a shinigami. He is seen with many blue tattoos on his body, showing as tacks or numbers.
  
  
  Character Attire: He is almost always shown with his captain robe over his shoulders like a cape, almost always seen with either his beanie on, or his hair just combed to the side.

  Shuí is always first seen as a lazy bastard who does nothing, since he is almost always seen sleeping. This had led many people to underestimate the 3rd company Captain, leading many people to disbelief that he is the captain. However, Shuí is highly observant, so much so, that no detail leaves him. This catches many people off guard, especially his enemies. Shuí is highly intelligent, being the most observant and strategic of the captains. He is known as the brains of the 13 division, and is highly respected by his division and the others because of this. He is also very loyal to his uppers, listening and following out any order given to him. However, Shuí is also horribly sarcastic, and is either very blatant, or almost impossible to tell if he is being sarcastic. This has caused many arguments with others captains, which Shuí always blames the other person for starting it.
  
  
  History:
  
  
  Shuí has no recognition of who he was before he died, his memory mysteriously vanishing. This has led him to have no recognition of his life. However, this had no direct impact on him, as he lived his youth in the 30th district of Soul City (forgot the Japanese name for it) Shuí was found as a young boy by a an elder woman known simply as Elder Juí. Juí took care of Shuí as he continued to live his shinigami life in the 30th district, and was also sent to the Shinigami academy. Shuí Shen was found as the most intelligent of his class, being the first to finish every single test and able to figure out complex puzzles in only a few seconds, puzzles that would take other students and even Shinigami in the 13 divisions hours. However, Shuí was outstandingly lazy, always caught sleeping in class, on the training grounds, and even in the cafeteria. However, Shuí excelled easily, and graduated much earlier than his intended class. He was instantly put in as the third seat of the 3rd Division. He was liked by the 3rd division captain of that time, Goguo Naganaga. Shuí's intelligence and strategic mindset set himself high above many of the other 3rd seats in any of the other divisions, and was almost instantly promoted to lieutenant of the 3rd Division. He was almost instantly detested by many of the other lieutenants for his laziness and uncanny intelligence. This had led to many conspiracies against Shuí Shen, all of which Shuí himself smartly shot down.
  
  
  However, everything took a drastic turn, after the supposed death of Goguo Naganaga. No one ever found out where the 3rd division captain went, only finding his abandoned Zanpakutou, which was broken into three separate pieces. After a heated debate which took an entire week among all the other division, Shuí Shen was picked as the next 3rd division commander.

  Kojikoku (故時刻, Late Time): When activated this technique delays the time before the effects of the wielder’s successfully landed attacks take place e.g. if the wielder punched an opponent in the stomach, the opponent wouldn’t take damage or even feel the punch until, say, a minute later. The amount of time at which an attack’s effects are delayed depends on how much force was put into the attack e.g. a very light punch may be delayed by a few seconds but a super-heavy slash could be delayed several minutes.   Bankai release process: To activate the wielder re-sheathes the blade and lets it levitate, hilt down, in front of them. Then the wielder initiates bankai at which the blade begins to violently collapse in on itself until it ceases to be seen; a few seconds later Gense Noroi phases, hilt first, from the air in front of the wielder.

  Gense Noroi takes the form of a nodachi with a silver guard shaped like two adjacent mirrored parallelograms and white hilt-wrapping. The kanji “のろい” ("Noroi", Curse/Slow) are etched deeply into the length of the blade.
  
  
  Special bankai abilities: Gense Noroi is the same type of blade as it was in shikai along with two bankai techniques.

  Chien Jikoku (遅延時刻, Delayed Time): Is basically identical to the Kojikoku technique except that the wielder can now finely control how long before their successfully landed attacks take effect.
  
  
  Noroi-shitsu (のろい室, Curse Room): Gense Noroi can generate vaguely spherical ‘rooms’ of translucent energy, of varying sizes, anywhere within the wielder’s observable vicinity. Anything or anyone (including the wielder) that enters the ‘room’ is immediately subjected to its drastically slowed spatial zone; meaning the velocity of whatever is inside is drastically reduced. Due to this effect persons caught inside Noroi-shitsu think at normal speeds while their body is stuck in its slowed state, a principle similar to the effects of Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s superhuman drug. Upon exiting the ‘room’ the object/person/projectile resumes its previous velocity as if it had never been reduced. The ‘rooms’ are sustained for as long as the wielder can maintain, however they steadily consume spiritual energy the longer they are active with larger ‘rooms’ consuming more spiritual energy per second. For example it would be taxing to maintain a ‘room’, large enough to fit a human inside, for more than two minutes.

  Shuí is very fast, which comes to a surprise to many, due to his usually lazy stature. He isn't as fast as Rin, but he is still much faster than many of the other captains.

  Shuí is one of the most skilled in swordsmanship, and is highly skilled with his zanpakutou. Since he uses a very large nodachi, it catches people off guard when he attacks with high precision and speed, his swordsmanship alone making him a fierce warrior.
  
  
  Durability:
  
  
  Shuí is very durable, fitting into his fighting style of drawing out the battle, studying the opponent as he fights. He is not as durable as a Kenpachi, but is still very strong to where a sealed Zanpakutou would do little to no damage to him.
  
  
  Reiryoku:
  
  
  Shuí has complete control over his spiritual energy, allowing him to become either very impossible to track, or making the radius around him explode from the massive amounts of spirit energy. Due to his zanpakutou having a time based theme, his spiritual energy makes much weaker opponents feel sluggish and slow.
  
  
  

One thing, although I know you just got it wrong - to avoid confusion just put Division Captain as your rank xD Because 'Captain Commander' is actual rank which is basically like the 'Captain of Captains' I guess..@Mitchs98 has the spot.

I've gotten use to accepting CS's - not really completely reading (While I have been trying to read in depth to all of the CS's and a lot of them are interesting so far). But I just look for things I know what to look out for xD I like the creativity of your bankai and in all honestly my new vote for 'most wanting to see fight' has turned into your character vs Hueso.


It would be a really good fight...Since both of your character abilities some what exploit each other xD
