It's been eight hours since I sent Brock and the kid on a mission to save my brothers.
As Eddie struggled to breath, his symbiote desperately dove its tendrils.
Eddie lied dying on the cold concrete floor as his life flashed before his eyes from his youth to Lethal Protector.
And six hours since they last made contact.
Soon more Monokumas flooded into the Underground.
Need to hurry, too many bears!
I fear that the mission and my friends are lost.
The Symbiote then dove into the chest wound, tendrils wrapped around broken bones, blood cells and shredded veins.
And I begin to question what I have done trusting a man I have never met and know nothing about and some kid with a fancy scythe. On the inside... Beneathe the black.
Behind the young Huntress' back, a beastly monokuma pounced on the prone Eddie...
A clawed hand grabbed the Monokuma by the head and crushed its head.
Who is Eddie Brock?
Rex sat alone in his bunker beneath all the chaos on the streets above. The Veteran glanced at his computer monitor on it were dozens upon dozens of articles on Eddie Brock.
Trouble is I know exactly who he is. I'm just too damn scared to admit it.
In frustration, Rex shut his computer off before burying his face in the palm of his hand.
Eddie Brock is No One.
Rex eyed the photo of his brother at arms and sighed, "I'm sorry, boys. It should'a been--"
"Your men are gone..." spoke the voice of Eddie Brock. "And you... You lied to us!"
Rex stood up from his chair took a defensive stance, "Eddie... W-what happened to you? What the Hell do you mean they're gone?!"
Eddie refused to listen to Rex as he marched towards him.
"Just calm down and--" Rex raised his hands to shield himself. "HEY NO!!!"
The old soldier was then struck by an oil barrel
"You sent us to DIE!" Venom roared as he continued his assault. "We don't know what your game is, Strickland... But we aren't playing!"
I feel it coming this time. The darkness sliding up my spine and taking control.
Venom began to change to go berserk as red veins emerged from its inky mass.
Used to think it was my other taking over... but no...
Venom spoke that same primal alien language it spoke before.
Something evil.
"W-what?" Rex backed away from Venom and closer to the furnace. "What did you say?!"
Got to stop us. Need to focus. Regain control before we kill this man.
Venom grabbed the burning steel of the furnace's ventilation.
Losing ground. Dark. Seeping in... Around... Edge... FIGHT THIS! Be stronger, Brock!
"R-rex..." Eddie struggled to regain enough control to speak as he threw open the Furnace door open. "Move!"
Then Eddie forced his own head into the furnace! The symbiote peeled itself from Eddie's flesh to escape the inferno as Eddie screamed in agony.
Eddie fell backwards, dazed from the experience.
"My God, Son. T-that language you spoke..." Rex ran to Eddie's side as the symbiote host began to recover from his ordeal. "What happened to you?"
"You..." Eddie shook his head as he recovered. "You really don't know, do you? Turn on the TV."
Rex did exactly that, and on the Television was another Key Note from the Warriors of Hope. ( Count Gensokyo )
"Those damn kids again..." Rex cursed at the mere sight of them.
MJ's lips curled into a slight smile as she answered, "Yeah, yeah..."
"Kotoko, I hope you realize that you're not going to get away with this," MJ said as she followed the young child down the corridor.
MJ rubbed her arm as she prayed for a miracle.
Come on Pete, save the day...
As Spider-Man and Teresa Parker patrolled the skyline of Towa City, the pair scanned the war torn streets of Towa City.
"Hey, P, head's up," Teresa gestured her head to the Warriors of Hope's massive flying fortress.
"Big Evil Flying Fortress... yep, standard Spidey Stuff," Spider-Man's spider-senses triggered. "And something tells me we'll find the survivors there."
Spidey fired a web-line to Teresa's foot "T, I'm gonna need you to fling me up there!"
"Sure thing!" Teresa saluted as she shot up towards the Fortress before stooping down.
As the Web-slinger was whipped up to the Fortress, Spidey fired his web-line at the bottom of the fortress and web-zipped to the fortress.
Teresa flew up to Peter. "Oh and P, make it back alive." Teresa saluted her brother.
"That's the plan T," Peter saluted before he crawled up the side of the Fortress. "Oh boy... that's the plan."
"Can you drive any slower, Overdrive!?" Boomerang shouted as he stormed towards the Driver's seat.
"Sorry, am I the only one seeing all those kids in the way and the chunks of buildings?" Overdrive waved his hand at the team's de facto leader. "And I'm not gonna runover kids..."
"I don't know... maybe just use your powers to make this ☠☠☠☠ thing fly?!" Boomerang snapped before taking a seat on the passenger's side.
"Look, I know what I'm doing, Fred!" Overdrive lashed out. "Now enough backseat driving!"
The Superior Six's™ Getaway vehicle then proceeded to crash into a brick wall.
Thankfully, the Superior Six™ were completely fine.
"Thank God for Seatbelts..." Overdrive sighed in relief before turning to the passengers. "So who wants to blame this all on Fred?"
"Dude, are you kidding me!?" Boomerang glared at the Technomancer.
Everyone else raised their hands as they stared daggers at Boomerang.
"Oh come on! I wasn't the idiot driving!" Boomerang claimed his innocence.
"No but you're the idiot who distracted the driver," Beetle retorted.
Boomerang let out a sigh of defeat as he muttered out, "I hate this team."
"So is anyone gonna do anything about the killer bears that're chasing us?" Shocker was quick to remind them of the predicament they were in.
"Aw, ☠☠☠☠," were all that Boomerang could say on the matter.
The Sorcerer Supreme, with a wave of his hand, formed a portal to the Sanctum Sanctorum.
"Getting you home would have to wait," Doctor Strange informed the Magical Girls before turning to the Puella Magi.
"We need to talk about your wish and how it affected this place, Ashley," Strange raised his eyebrow as he walked through the portal to the Sanctum.
As our heroes entered the Nation of Golden Glory, they stumbled upon a horrific sight. Slaughtered Dark Elves littered the streets and a dark aura emanated from their surroundings.
"Geez, this is pretty bad," Gwen surveyed the area.
"W-what are we going to do, Gwen?" Rom hid behind the Pink Merc.
"Find out who's behind this... and something tells me it wasn't the Hulk," Gwen stepped over the body of a slain Asgardian Warrior.
"How would you know?" Ram butted in.
"Well the Hulk's not know for slicing people up," Gwen pointed out how the dark elves and Asgardians may have been slaughtered by a bladed object.
"So guys, let's find out who's behind this massacre and save the realms!" Gwenpool held her sword up high and rallied our heroes.
As they ventured through the Golden City of Asgard the sounds of bloody murder grew, louder and louder. It was then they stumbled upon what appeared to be Nepgear, corrupted by the dark sword she now wielded.
"Every god must die!" Nepgear screamed and she repeatedly stabbed an Asgardian in the chest.
"N-Nepgear! What happened to her?" Rom cried just before Gwenpool shielded the CPU Candidate's eyes.
"Okay... I'm guessing this is a bigger deal than the dark elves," a mortified Gwenpool tired to keep her cool.
"She wields All-Black the Necrosword!" Thor held his mighty hammer up high and summoned divine lightning in hopes it would attract the corrupted Nepgear's attention. "Friends, you must fall back! Let, I, Thor free young Nepgear of the darkness that has taken her!"
"Thor, we're not going to leave you behind!" Gwenpool stood her ground.
"I'm sorry, Nepgear..." Rom sniffed as she aimed her wand at the corrupted CPU Candidated.
"I didn't call for your aid, Genericon!" Astrotrain loomed over the Genericon.
"Leave the small fry to me, Astrotrain," a deep and authoritative voice called from behind the two Decepticons. "Lord Megatron needs you to focus on your mission, remember?"
"Of Course, Barricade. I was caught off guard," Astrotrain
"How charitable of you but the Time Gem holds presidents over a lowly Genericon," Astrotrain scoffed at the Genericon before refocusing on the task at hand.
"You should be at the branding ceremony with the other Genericons," Barricade spoke to the Genericon.
Just before they reached the exit, Barricade stopped dead in his tracks and aimed his HF Punisher Rifle at the Generacon. "Not unless you already got your badge... Autobot!"
"Soundwave, this is Barricade!" "I've located our suspected Double Agent, I'll be sending him in for interrogation."
Elsewhere with Soundwave...
"Laserbeak: Eject!" Soundwave's chest opened up and Laserbeak flew out and awaited his order. "Operation: Interrogation!"
"Like I said, Smooth skin," Blaster, still in his Boombox alternate form, whispered to the young woman. "They're called Decepticons for a reason, Thundercracker thinks he's some noble warrior but I'm sure the bots in Botropolis would disagree."
Meanwhile the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Bentenmaru crew 'patrolled' the beach.
"Hey Quill, what's your plan here," Rocket nudged Star-Lord to get the 'Legendary' outlaw's attention. "Don't tell me we're just gonna be showin' the girls around the joint?!"
"Rocket, shut up! We're here on 'vacation' remember?" Star-Lord gestured to clue Rocket in on the plan. "Besides, the gem's in Atlantis, so why not hang around the beach for a bit?"
"I am Groot," Groot interjected.
"Oh you're taking his side, now?!" Rocket snapped at his Tree-like Companion.
