Overview

The centralized hub that covers all of the rules and systems you'll need to know to retain your membership in The Edge Walkers and leave your mark in the history books. If you have any questions or believe that certain rules need to be changed you can contact II-CinderRadcliff-II or the moderators. As time passes there will eventually come a need for additional rules, clarifications, or system changes that may affect your characters. Such changes will be announced when/shortly after they occur. As this page will remain here for some time to come you do not need to memorize everything that will be mentioned here, as this thread will be regularly updated.

Rules:
While most of these rules should be familiar to those who join, there are some unique rules that need to be mentioned

Conduct:

1. Please message II-CinderRadcliff-II or Mods if you have any questions
2. Let people know if you can't post for awhile or are dropping the RP
3. Please mention or contact those you've replied to so they know you are waiting for their reply
4. No X-rated content is allowed in Pursuit for Blood, so kindly keep any outright smut out of the roleplay. Romance is allowed.

Roleplay:

1. Have your character sheet posted and approved in the character sheets thread before participating in any RP in Pursuit for Blood
2. You may only have one character of yours (excluding Minions, NPC companions, and Pets) in any one RP. (Ex: If you have two characters in two different threads, that would be allowed)
3. Post in the 3rd person
4. Post at least 1 paragraph (3 sentences minimum), though more paragraphs would be encouraged (What is your character doing? Who are they talking to and what are they saying? Did the scene change at all during the post?)
5. Any roleplay that is not finished and checked in for grading (Aside from limited time quests or fated events) will not be included in the Archives history books (AKA it will not become canon/lore)
6. Characters cannot participate in more than one RP (Excluding community events)
7. NPC companions are to be controlled by the mod or narrator hosting any given Pursuit for Blood RP
8. You may post as often as you want so long as it isn't back-to-back posts (during situations where timing matters such as combat however, there might be a set turn order)
9. PvP to the death is generally frowned upon outside of Fated Events, though with a 3rd party arbiter such as a mod to oversee the fight (unless both players have agreed to it) PvP is allowed
10. Any changes to your character sheet should be done between RPs ideally, as any changes to the character sheet during an RP will not be recognized without prior approval of the narrator
11. If for whatever reason a player is absent for 2 weeks without prior notice, they will be assumed missing from the thread until they return. In a 1v1 thread this means that the thread should be graded prematurely for partial points, though RPs with 3 or more players may choose whether to continue without the missing player or end the RP early
12. Characters must at least have a weak-point/core that can be damaged or destroyed, a piece of the character that represents who and what they are. Though death isn't necessarily the end in this RP, most reincarnated characters won't retain the memories their former life had without outside interference

Fated RPs:

1. Mods are the only ones who move time in the RP. (Specific to Fated events)
2. All combat/skill based outcomes will be determined by the mod running the Fated RP
3. Creating NPCs in Fated RP is prohibited
4. Posts longer than 3 paragraphs need to have a summary section, neatly capturing the main points and any actions taken and any skills/abilities used
