Fantasy Between

KingHink! You changed your avatar. Looking pretty spiffy!

Also I can sort of relate to that sentiment. Do you at least get fun weather to enjoy where you are?

Thank you! <3 (Made my day :) )

I have been finding the numerous storms as great fun. I love storms. Though lately it has been in the upper 90's and humid. Gonna get hotter next week. It has been a nice summer though. I started enjoying summer more now that I don't have to do heavy labor outdoors anymore.

Everything King's been describing is exactly the weather here, we've been having a bunch of storms. :o I like rain but not thunder/lightning xD

I live in good 'ol North Carolina, home of camo-loving rednecks who have trucks as loud as... something that's really loud :P

Well no wonder. I'm next door. East Tennessee. Home of moonshine-loving rednecks and big and loud trucks.

We don't see much of the rednecks though, ya know due to all the camo they wear. Totally invisible they are, but you can still hear them hollarin' about corndogs, beer, and 'Merica

I'll stop now xD

Wow guys. I don't know if I envy you or not. The weather has been warm and sunny where I am. I've finally put away my winter closet.

Also, my reason for asking besides curiosity is my lil bro mentioned that he's on break and was curious if anyone else was so lucky.

My school had required semesters through summer. :(

I'm not a redneck :(

But beer, corndogs, and 'Merica FTW!

(Also doesn't have a truck)

I been out of school for almost ten years. I can't even remember what school breaks were like.

( :( )

Aw. Well they were awsesome while they lasted.... sorta... I'm sort of a redneck. I mean it was burnt enough times while out working on the farm. I don't get to go help this year :( but my summers were mainly haying. Not as much fun as the summers my colleagues had.

Also I'd. Say you should get a truck but they're kinda troublesome. My bro and bompa are working on the trucks at home right now because they broke down again.

My whole family is pretty redneck but I somehow didn't turn out too country :P

Also, this is my first summer working full time, as I just graduated highschool in May. It's a lot different having a job than playing video games 24/7 during my break, obviously xD

Lol I was born and raised on a farm and know the woods like the back if my hand. I just don't come off as a redneck type.

I had a truck. I didn't like it very much. They were only okay when I had a use for it. Which wasn't often. And they were pretty bad on the icy mountain roads.

I got married and had kids. Lol even my days off from work are not days off. I miss the days of TV and video games. So peaceful. xD I wouldn't known what to do with free time ifni somehow had of anymore.

I also reside in the backwoods of North Carolina. I used to live in cities, though.

I am the country one in my family. Chastity's little Southern drawl tic? That's me right there. xD

On that note, does anyone else find it a lot easier to play characters that are either very similar to themselves or diametrically opposite?

Oh very much so. It becomes a lot easier to play a character that focuses on a particular character trait of your own. In fact, it's an excellent way to examine that character trait and see whether you can improve on it.

Patrick, for instance, is definitely examining my anger and impatience, but also my loyalty in light of them.

I must agree, so much easier to play characters who are similar to myself. Which is why Lu is so hard @.@ I get easily angered or upset at things, as well as feel for near anyone with a sob story (discounting fools who just want pity). That was my goal in playing Lu, try and see what it would be like for a person who didn't feel, who wasn't moved. The level of thinking it takes to figure out what she'll do next, and why, just, @.@!

Not that I regret the learning experience :D !

Yeah, I have to agree playing characters who share traits with you are easier. That's why Eury is also pretty hard for me to write with though she does share similar traits she presents them differently that me. Her whole manner is a little more up front.

Dramatics who doesn't love them

So, my wife made one of my good friends a Jedi tunic/robe to accompany the lightsaber he bought online. My mom-in-law is now taking pictures of him downtown at the river as he's swinging the saber about gleefully.

Dang I can't wait for own costume.

@_@ I wish I had a lightsaber and a costume.

On a slightly related note, I invented a rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock expansion called rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock-Jedi-platypus because it's summer and I have no life. *faceplant*

I SUCK I KNOW

I should have posted ages ago :C I meant too. I've just been hitting a terrible, terrible writing block this past week and I literally haven't had motivation to write at all. So I drowned myself in video games. Logical explanation. Pleasedon'thurtme

Tomorrow, I plan to glue my butt to the chair and work on a damn good post. *prepares glue for tomorrow*
