Between Two Hateful Sides (Telios x Ene Kagerou)

"He can manipulate them slightly, by twisting and tangling them and moving them, but there are some which he cannot control. He can't move or break strings of love, and he can't break strings of death, though he can move and create them," Shiro explained, "He treasures all the strings, but mostly the strings that connect him and Star. Demons can see them too, but we can't control them without a Yugen."

"I see..." Takins said, thinking a bit as he looked at the ground.

"So why are you contacting me now?" Takios asked again, looking up at Shiro and Kanin.

"He tied a string of misfortune to almost every string of love relationship that connects you and Star," Shiro explained, "Some of the misfortunes are fairly serious, both to you and Star. There are three that he didn't get, either cause he didn't see them or couldn't reach them."

"These strings are love, which usually leads to marriage, and then kids," Shiro answered, hearing his muttering, "The child of two Yugen Parents is a demon with a physical state."

"Hey, Are you saying that just because we're demons, we're bad people?" Kanin asked, sounding a bit annoyed.

"As many of us are bad as humans and Yugens," Shiro said. "Sometimes our feelings take over and we loose control of our powers but we are good people with feelings, ideas and morality."

"Anyways, what are you going to do? Are you going to listen to that sly fox? Or are you not going to let him get to you?"

"That sounds like an actually decent plan," Shiro said.

"I guess our work is done," Kanin added. With that, they disappeared

Takios sighed before lying back down on his bed, staring up at the ceiling, thinking before slowly fell asleep.

In the meantime, Star waited for the bell to ring, not wanting to be in class any longer, and wanting to go home as soon as possible.

"Eh? Star? Why do you keep looking at the clock? It's not trying to teach the lesson, I am," The teacher said.

Star looked at the teacher, grinning slightly in embarrassment, as students snickered through out the room.

Soon enough the bell did ring. And Star stood up immediately.

"You've never been this excited for lunch before, Star," The teacher stated. Star had forgotten that she still had two more periods before school was over.

"Oh yeah."

Takios woke up with a yawn when it's lunch time. He got up and walked out of the room and downstairs, heading to the kitchen.

Star no longer cherished her bread and water, so she gave her bread to another Yugen, since he needed it more than her. She went to her next class and was forced to talk to others, since they were talking to her.

"Hey, Star," A girl with cat ears said.

"Hi," Star replied, rather simply.

"Did she do the homework?" A human boy asked.

"Star doesn't have homework," Star replied. The other students in the conversation laughed slightly.

Meanwhile, Takios was making lunch for him and Odeus, sometimes spacing out as he thought about what his and Star's demons said.

Odeus walked into the kitchen like nothing had happened. He looked to see what Takios had been making.

"Lunch time already?" Odeus said, "Today sure is going by fast."
