Between Two Hateful Sides (Telios x Ene Kagerou)

"Well... Takios can't explain about it too properly... He had been seeing Yugens like superheroes to him..." Takios explained...

"Super Heroes?" Odeus questioned. "Odeus thinks Takios is giving to much credit to Yugens, because they are just like humans when it comes to morals and philosophy. Yugens aren't all bad, but they aren't all good, even if they have powers. You shouldn't base your thoughts of all Yugen around Star and the two who saved you in the forest."

"Takios thought Odeus might say so... It just... why human hates Yugens so much?" Takios shook his head with a sigh.

"Humans have always outcasted anything different from a typical human," Odeus said, "They have even out casted each other at times."

"Between Takios and Star? Nothing pretty much he guesses... They are just friends." Takios smiled at Odeus.

"Good," Odeus said, "They should keep it that way for forever. Takios isn't meant for Star. Star isn't meant for Takios. The strings of fate are not in favor of those two growing closer."

"Odeus can see the strings of fate," Odeus says, closing his eyes for a moment, and then opening them. They were bright red now, making it more obvious that he was using his power. "My powers never turn off, though my eyes aren't always red. I see strings coming off of everything in my sight, each one representing a possibility with a different colour, such as yellow being fortune, white being death, blue being friendship and red being love. It's more complicated than that though. Strings can be twisted around each other by some one or something."

"Some of the red strings of love and the black and yellow strings of misfortune are tangled together," Odeus said, looking him in the eye, "There are people who would make a better fit for each of Takios and Star than each other."

"Takios should avoid talking to Star to much, unless he wants bad luck," Odeus said, his face blank of expression.

Odeus then walked up to his room, with an expression of slight accomplishment, hidden behind his blank facade.

A small grey rabbit slowly appeared in his room, in the middle of the floor. It looked like a normal rabbit, except it had no shadow, and the the light seemed to avoid it in a way.

"Huh? What are you doing here?" Takios looked down at the rabbit and tried to pick it up, not noticing it's strange things yet.

His hands and arms went right through the rabbit, as if it was made of nothing but thin air.

The rabbit did however, split into two: One white and one black, both of them with red eyes. The demon that had appeared to him in his dream appeared next to the black one, and a pale boy with white hair and a small, childlike structure stood next to the white rabbit.

"Hello," Takios's demon greeted with a smile.

"Wh-What? B-But I'm not dreaming right now... I'm sure of it..." Takios stepped back and thought out loud, shocked by this.

"Demons usually only appear in times of threat," The white haired boy said. His voice was as bare of emotion as his facial expression. "Rabbits are special, for they can communicate through dreams as well."

Kanin smiled, "Yes, that's right. Shiro is so smart! Oh, Takios, you probably haven't met Shiro yet."

"Because you're the black rabbit half. I am Star's appearance of you. You are Takios's appearance of me," Shiro said.

"Oh yes, that makes sense!"

"Demons only appears in time of threat... So what are you guys doing here?" Takios asked, sitting down onto his bed.

"Someone is doing something to harm you," Shiro said.

"We heard every word of your conversation with the fox," Kanin added.

"Did you have your eyes on him at all times?"

"He cherishes his strings, and doesn't like when others mess up his work."

"I don't like how you refer to Star as his work."

"That's how he seems to refer to her."
