St. Ka'alia
Upon hearing the word ‘ruler’ Lucas immediately straightened his back. He took a moment to gauge the apparent goddess in front of him. Now that he took the time to concentrate, she didn’t feel like a yokai or a demon. Although a part of her did seem reminiscent of a dragon, there was something else too. Perhaps she feels different because she’s of royal blood? At any rate, she didn’t seem malicious. That didn’t mean that he could relax though. A Queen deserved respect.
Offering her another smile, this one tinged with some embarrassment, Lucas replied, “Ah, well I was searching for a parlor. I assumed that the academy would have one for the students. It appears that I got a bit turned around though.” He gave the handbook in his hand a somewhat sour look. “It also appears that I do not know how to read a map.” Shutting the handbook, Lucas held out his arm for Vienna. “If it pleases you, perhaps we could search for the parlor together? I would hate to leave Your Highness unaccompanied.”
