Fantasy Bellua Academy

Dante flicked through a couple of books before putting them away, He had time to study later. He took a couple of sips out of a blood bag. He sighed, taking casual drinks of blood probably wouldn't be an option with a room mate, and so he slipped the blood bag under his pillow after closing it. He sat there for a while and his train of thought began trailing off, he was worried that his room mate was going to be some kind of holy being or something, which would be extremely inconvenient for him. "No" he thought "I'm pretty sure the headmaster checks that kind of thing"

Dante's arms supported his head as he lay back staring at the ceiling, then quite abruptly the door began to creak open, Dante jumped a little, startled. The person entered, announcing themselves as his new room mate. he whipped his head around to look at the enterer. He was a kind of tall, blonde handsome looking guy. "Not bad" Dante though to himself sizing up the guy before approaching him. He got up from his bed slowly, his hood was still up because of the brightness of the room. After a couple of steps he reached him and held out his hand, casually answering "Yeah, it's nice to meet you, my Name's Dante."

Toph was surprised to hear that. "Wow, do you take care of them all by yourself? I'm an only child, so I wouldn't know how to raise kids yet," he asked. Nanami's tails drew his eyes again as they flicked and curled, and he began to wonder what it would be like to have a tail. It seemed like something you'd have to care for a lot, especially if you had nine of them.

"Yeah, for a while. We live with some adopted parents now." She said, looking down. Realizing she had said more than she should have, she looked at him. "Please don't tell anyone else about this." She said, looking at him. She had just spilled her secret to a stranger, and she didn't need it traveling around the school.

Toph didn't see why something like being adopted should be closed a guarded secret. However, the look in Nanami's eyes made him think that it was something vitally important to Nanami, and he felt obliged to treat it as such. "Okay, you have my word," Toph replied. He felt he should probably tell her a secret of his, for the sake of equivalent exchange. "I have a fear of kittens; when I was 11 and experimenting with becoming a puddle, a mob of them almost completely drank me up, and I don't even want to think about what would have happened if they had succeeded. I tense up whenever I'm around them now."

Nami laughed a bit but covered her mouth. "Sorry, that was rude." She said, her tails flicking out in happiness. She flicked one over her shoulder and one in front of her and she petted it. She smiled, her ears twitching. She smiled and then looked at the ground. The rest of her tails kind of bobbed up and down as she stood.

"No I am not alright! It's so humiliating! And it takes hours to turn back, which is disastrous." Yuki was on the verge of having a meltdown and in her irritated state, she scampered over to Felicity and pulled on her blonde hair. Not that it made a difference and she really only succeeded in unbalancing herself. Her arms pinwheeled as she wobbled around the floor just in front of the bunks. Her tiny feet made small squeaking noises as she moved about, making her blush bright red and her teeny tail lash back and forth. "Oh bother!" She yowled.

Ichigo smiled back at her, and took the pen and paper. His left hand gripped the pen tightly and his tongue poked out of the corner of his mouth. Finally her managed a messy scrawl. 'My name is Ichigo Kuronuma. It's really nice to meet you Jackie!' He handed it back, a small blush forming on his cheeks.

Toph smiled back. "Yeah, it's probably funny, but it's a secret too, alright?" He was glad he was able to diffuse the situation; it had gotten a little tense. The way her ears and tails acted made him feel like he should pet her, but he felt that that would be rude. And again, he was mesmerized by Nanami's tails. "What's it like having tails?"

Nanami smiled. "Alright. And having tails is, interesting. Having 9 is a ton of work. You have to brush all 9 of them every day to keep the fur smooth. It gets a bit annoying sometimes, but having 9 of them makes you look so cool." She said. She twitched her ears again, looking at him. He sure liked her tails and ears.

"Haha, they definitely look impressive," Toph replied. Tails sounded like quite the hassle to upkeep everyday. He made a mental note of it in case he ever wanted to have a tailed pet in the future. Now that things had settled down, he glanced back at his chess set. He wondered if Nanami would be good at chess if she were willing to learn. "Well, while this is still set up, do you want to learn how to play chess? I can teach you," he offered, walking towards the chess set.

"Sure I guess, but you have to let me teach you how to play a shooter game next." Nanami said, looking at him as she sat down. She had heard of these said board games and was kind of excited. She smiled and looked at the colors. Everything was strictly black and white. Weird. She shrugged it off and placed her hands on the table.

He didn't make anything of her leaving and decided this was a good time to enter his dorm.

Entering the door of B3, he dropped his car keys on a bedside table and found his clothes already mailed here by his parents in a rather large box.

Filled with various attire and items, Teru began unpacking all of it and putting it in his wardrobe. This included hanging his various shirts and black coats.

Satisfied when he had done, Teru laid on the bed and looked at the ceiling. And brooded. As usual.

"Sounds good; I'll just teach you the basics then, as in how each piece moves and then you can teach me how to play your shooters. There's a lot of rules so I might overload you if I teach you everything at once," Toph said, picking up the pieces from his board. He took the pieces that were in their position from Toph's last game against himself off the board, placing one of each kind of piece onto the board.

"First off, chess is a turn-based game, so one person is allowed to move one piece, then the opponent, and so on and so forth. There are six types of pieces in chess: a pawn, a knight, a bishop, a rook, a queen, and a king; not only are they defined by the way they look, but also by their method of movement and way of attacking.

"The pawn is the lowest rank piece; when moving for the first time, they can move two spaces ahead, otherwise they can only move one space forward each turn. However, what makes them special is that they can only capture pieces diagonally in front of them, not directly in front. So if two enemy pawns are in front of each other, they're stuck together unless another piece that they can capture shows up.

"The knight is ranked directly above the pawn. It has the special ability of being able to jump over both ally and enemy pieces, which no other piece can do. Their movement involves going forward two spaces, and then going right or left; effectively always moving in an L. They can only capture pieces on the space that they land on.

"The bishop is ranked equally to the knight. They move in diagonals, so they can never get off the colored square they start on. Because they cannot jump over pieces, if pieces of your color are on each of the bishop's diagonals, the bishop is stuck. Similarly, enemy pieces can block it in the same way, though the bishop can capture those pieces.

"The rook is ranked above the bishop and knight, being the second strongest piece in the game. It moves in horizontals, which allowing more areas of movement then both the bishop and the knight at any one time. Similar to the bishop, it cannot jump over pieces, so can only capture pieces that are within its zone of movement and not blocked by other pieces.

"The queen is the most powerful piece, ranking higher than the other pieces mentioned. It's movement and attack is based off both the bishop and the rook, allowing it to move and capture both diagonally and horizontally. It is the most versatile piece in the game.

"While the queen is the most powerful, the king is the most important, and ranks the highest. Capturing the king essentially means winning the game. However, the king itself is somewhat limited. It can only move and capture pieces on space next to him, diagonally or horizontally. He also cannot move to a square that would capture him, because that would be like an automatic surrender."

"And that is how all the pieces move in chess," Toph finished explaining, feeling as if he had talked up a storm. "If you still want to learn how to play, I can teach you how it is played another time. Now, how do you play your shooters?"

Raven went back to her dorm. No sign of a roommate waiting to find out who she is. It was odd, Zephenn having the need to come out. It's been a few months since containment after all, and she knew Zephenn needed to stretch. "Okay, okay... I'll go outside and find a private place to stretch." She murmured, walking back out of the dorm, passing the game hall and went outside to an open field past the fence. I shouldn't be out here, you know... She groaned in her head, before reaching behind a small hill.

Raven's structure began to grow in size, as electromagnetic pulses were emitted in a twenty foot range. Alien metallic plates lifted out of thin air and lined every inch of skin that was soon hollow and filled with complex flesh-like circuitry. Large metal plates lined her back and armored her legs as they grew with an extra femur. Her head, now letting out an electronic groan, coughed up dust and four arms pounded the ground that lead to a twelve foot height. Plates rotated around Zephenn's body structure and soon a ten foot tail emerged from his lower spine.
"Systems authorized, checking Cairn. Check. Hardware, up and running. Immunity, check." The mechanism's audits flickered, and it's plates used for Zakriih lifted from their sockets to release heat and dust, before he began to make a rhythm.

NAmi smiled and got up from the table. "Your going to need to come over here." She said, walking towards the tv, her tails swaying behind her as she walked. Sitting on the couch, she passed him a remote she held it out for him to see. "The back right trigger is how you fire, the left is grenade, right control stick is running, left stick is view, Y to change weapon, X to use object, A to jump." She said.

[[sorry I haven't replied! I couldn't get on till now!]]

Alice heaved herself up and turned her attention to the girl by the door. "You must be my new roommate. My name is Alice and well I must say I do not mind at all the refrigerator if it allows more access for food for me," Alice introduced herself. She neatly jumped down from the high bed bunk and examined Aracia.

"And the answer to your question, no. I don't know much people. I really don't talk much. I'm even surprising myself by speaking this much to you. And from your looks you must be some sort of light creature. Interesting..." Alice spoke. In that instant she was too much into her curiosity that she held no control over her powers and transformed into a dog. Alice felt the instinct of the creature and approached Aracia and began sniffing her legs and her helpers giving a slight growl.

Toph attempted to do all the things she instructed; he had a hard time wrapping his head around trying to use the left analog to look around and the right analog to move around, just didn't seem intuitive to him. However, as he died for the tenth time in the death match game, he started to notice some loud mechanical noises being made outside, where the open field was. He turned to Nanami. "Do you hear things coming from outside?" Toph asked, wondering if she heard it too.

Nami perked her ears, listening to the sound. "I do. We should see what it is. But I swear to god if anyone tires to kiss me or take a lock of my hair because I am a lucky 9 tailed fox, I will personally put them at the bottom of a crater." She said, getting up. She flicked one of her tails, unconsciously hitting his face with the fluffy object.

The rhythm weakened, and the body structure released a wad of steam and heat, and for 3 seconds his bright blue under glow lightened. His audits flicked towards the sunset, and another rhythm began to start. This time, his eyes released a holographic image of settings, hardware symbols that he used to keep notes. He let the images float, as an equalizer manifested the quality of the Cairn's audio. "Up and running." His voice echoed, and continued to beat the plates to manipulate noises.

Toph was pretty puzzled. The tail hitting him was a tad strange, but what really got him thinking was what she said. "That's an... oddly specific worry. I'll make a mental note not to do either of those," he replied. He got up as well, make an effort to not accidentally bump into her tails, and started heading to the open field.

Nami followed him out to the open field. She wasn't exactly sure what she was seeing, but the person probably wouldn't kiss her, because this was a giant metal machine. She smiled a bit and looked at Toph with eyes. "If you thought I was cool, this is over the top." She said, her jaw almost touching the floor. All of her tails were still floating about, some of them brushing her hair.

I am a giant mechanism making music, I am no girl xD

((If dubstep has such a large effect on Raven, I dread to think what hardcore (like what I posted for the part when he leaves the car) would have on them.))
