Fantasy Bellua Academy

Toph was surprised by this large mechanism that seemed to just appear out of nowhere. It seemed almost alien to him, and was playing some rather interesting music it seemed. "This is really over the top," he replied. He looked up at the... thing, wondering if it understood them. "... Hello?" he tentatively asked the mechanism.

Zephenn's Cairn quieted, turned to find two people. His audits flared as a puff of steam lifted from it's mouth, and looked toward the two. Zephenn didn't like too many visitors, and he bent down toward the two as the holographic symbols disappeared. An electronic growl gurgled from the vocal organs, and stared at the two.

Toph wasn't well versed in how to interact with apparently alien mechanisms, so he wasn't sure if the electronic growl the mechanism just made was a friendly one or an intimidating one. They seemed to get its attention though. He waggled his arms around and shouted to the thing, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?"

Brukk and Orin finished installing the fridge and kept back their laughter when they heard Aracia being called a light creature. She had always looked different with her light hair and eyes compared to other people at the Unseelie Court. She had even looked different than her twin sister, the only thing they had in common was their pale skin color. Alaria was born with their mothers dark hair and eyes and they were often referred to 'dark' and 'light'. And being born in the Court of Darkness, Aracia was always teased for looking different and she disliked being called light. Though she knew that her roommate didn't know this and just politely smiled while shooting ice daggers at her grinning helpers.

"Technically I am a dark creature. Oh..." Aracia slightly raised her eyebrows when Alicia shape shifted into a dog. She had been told there would be other creatures in the Academy, but she hadn't expected her roommate to be one. Brukk and Orin growled back at dog Alicia and Aracia recognized the dangerous look they had on their faces. She rummaged around a little through one of her suitcases and found her pouch with Fae coins. She gave them both two golden coins and sent them away back to the Unseelie Court. Aracia turned to inspect Alicia curiously, patting dog-Alicia lightly on the head. "Can you only shapeshift into a dog? Would you like to walk around? I feel quite claustrophobic being enclosed in this room and I would like to get to know this place better before classes begin."

Alice blinked at the sudden growl that the guards gave her but she stood unfazed. Then Alice heard Aracia ask her a question, understanding that she had to change back to human form. "Sure let's go tour this place since you are new. And no I can change into all sorts of creatures even mythical. But I can only shapeshift into the creatures I have encountered," Alice answered.

"Oh and I happen to have caught a sense of anger eminating out of you. And I could tell it came from my comment of calling you a 'light creature'. If I have offended you then I am deeply sorry. You must not be a light creature then," Alice apologized as she rummaged through her things and took out a small bag to carry around with her.

Zephenn's audits flickered, understanding the being perfectly fine. He didn't know what he wanted, but he looked at him with a straight face. A long, mechanical rail clinked and swayed. Raven, however, was urging Zephenn to communicate in a humane form. "I can understand perfectly fine, human." It spoke with a huff, another wad of heat and particles from the Cairn escaping from each Zakriihan plate. Four detachable mandibles on each side of each jaw broke apart and enhanced vocal fluency in this language.

Aracia watched Alicia transform back to human with a look of amusement. "Great, so where do we go first?" She asked as she got up from the couch. "Thats pretty cool, I can only change my appearences, like right now" She arranged the flowercrown on her head. "Well, its okay. Most people think the same thing when they see me. Dark creature technically since my mother is also known as the queen of the dark court. Anyway... lets go, cant wait to see everything" Aracia opened their dorm room and stepped outside. "Lead the way"

Alice nodded and took the lead. Hmmm where should we go? Game room? Library? Pool? Alice then decided that she would take Aracia to show her first the boys' dorm. "We are first going to the boys' dorm. Just so you know where they are and where to stay away from," Alice said. She swung her arms back and forth as she walked. Alice smiled here and there as memories flooded through her mind even though she only attended last year. For a quiet person she held many memories. "So what brought you here to the Bellua Academy, Aracia?" Alice asked trying to fill in the quiet space as they strolled to the boys' dorm.

Naoki was surprised at how formal Kayle was acting. "I thought that all the demons were brute pigs...guess I was wrong." Naoki chuckled slightly. "Is that how you normally talk or are you just talking to me like this?" Naoki glanced over at the window. The sun was already about to set. "But you are right, we should get going." Naoki quickly advanced towards the door but stopped to look back at Kayle. "There's a small hill close to this dorm. It's one of the best spots to stare at the sunset, specially if you sit on top of the tree that's on the hill. You will love it there." Naoki then quickly began to ran down the hallway, heading towards the exit of the dorm.

Easily keeping pace with the spirit, Kayle allowed himself to chuckle. "This is my normal method of speaking, I allow that it can be a bit formal, but..." He turned serious. "Things like me need control, and speech is simply just another chain to throw over the beast inside." His emotions awakened his power and all of a sudden the sunset seemed a bit darker. Gritting his teeth, he regained control over his powers and their surroundings lightened to their previous state.

Aracia smirked as she looked quickly at her roommate. "Now why would I stay away from that?" She continued to look around and to take in her surroundings. She ran her hands to arrange her already perfectly arranged skirt. She felt a pang of sadness for a second, but it quickly went away. "Well, my twin sister committed suicide and my mother grew bored of having me at court, so she sent me here" Aracia said casually, revealing no emotions. "How about you? Why are you here?"

Alice mumbled, "Oh trust me you would want to stay away from the boys." Then as Aracia spoke about her coming Alice's eyes widened up and guilt began to overcome her body and soon she was decreasing in size until she became a bunny. Alice squeaked as she saw what happened, "Oops sorry! I tend to change whenever I let emotions take over my control of my power. Anyways I can't really shift back in the moment so I will tell you why I am here in my bunny form. I attend here because my parents knew about my ability since I was little and have tried to control it but it seemed hopeless in the end. Oh and I may have harmed a few people back in my old school because I was bullied back then and well anger took over and well...my anger form is not pretty." Alice hopped down the hallway hoping that her cottontail wasn't distracting Aracia.

"Oh... that's good then," Toph replied, feeling a little silly from hand flailing. He wasn't too sure on how to proceed however; school didn't really teach you how to interact with huge alien mechanisms. Was it planning on scouting the place for a mothership? Was the dubstep-like rhythms in created its way of saying it came in peace? Toph didn't think Nanami was well-versed on this field either. After weighing his options a little more, he decided that the best approach would just be to be direct and ask. "So... what are you doing here?

"I'm here for Raven." It puffed his rail clanking in response. Zephenn's too left hand opened up as it's two outer fingers rotated back to the form the hand of a Chameleon, as a holographic figure formed the flash drive that started Raven's life.

Nanami looked between the machines hand and Toph. This sure was winding up to be an interesting day. Wait, she had remembered the name Raven. Wasn't that the name of her roommate? She looked up at the machine. "Your here for my roommate?" She asked, her tails moving in an agitated fashion.

Zephenn's optics looked at the girl Nanami. "I am Raven." He stated, his hand retracting to its original form. Zephenn decreased in size until Raven appeared. "Hi-" She coughed, and stretched her spine. "Yeah, you're my roommate."

Nanami smiled at the girl. "Hey, nice to meet you, name's Nanami, but Nami is fine." She said. They were a pair of cards that was for sure. She was a lucky 9 tailed fox and she was a giant machine. It seemed they were both not exactly normal. Then again, no one here was. She flicked one of her tails and stretched out her hand for her to shake.

Toph felt he was sort of third wheeling, but it was fascinating for him. He was aware of people with shapeshifting powers, but not to that extent. He felt he should at least try to contribute to the conversation while he was there. "And I'm Toph, by the way... So... are you a shapeshifter or...?"

Raven took her hand. "A nine tailed fox, eh?" She said smiling. She scratched the back of her head. "You just met Zephenn, and he's not necessarily a machine." Raven murmured. She turned to Toph, "No, I share my life with a powerful ancient alien..." She chuckled.

Nanami smiled. "He seems nice. And the sound manipulating lucky 9 tailed fox at your service." She joked, bowing before standing back up. She laughed a bit and smiled at her, feeling closer to her already. "And Toph, that's why I said they would end up in a crater, because I can make them." she said.

Naoki was caught off guard by the sudden change of scenery light, but almost immediately recovered. "Couldn't expect much less from a demon..." He thought while exiting the dorm. Naoki ran past the pool, through the library and close to the girl's dorm. For a moment he turned around to face Kayle. "Hey, I am sorry if I angered you back then. I promise you I will try to watch my tongue next time." Naoki proceeded to re-face his front just to make sure he was going through the correct way.

"My apologies as well, Noaki." Kayle replied smoothly. "Your words were not offensive, my emotions merely got the best of me for a moment. I promise they will not do so again. There is no need for you to caution your words. Simply being honest is enough for me." Almost absentmindedly he noticed that his speech became more formal, was that something that was considered... 'old'? Perhaps he should change it... Lost in his thoughts, he barely felt the shift of shadows and he snapped his head up. "The sunset has begun." He said almost reverently as the sky became awash with the delicate hues of pink, orange, and yellow.

Toph laughed. "I never doubted that," he replied to Nanami. He had no doubt that she'd have no trouble at making craters. He turned to Raven. "And I'm a Water Elemental. Current abilities include minor healing and turning into a puddle." He demonstrated by showing his arm melt into water before reforming it back.

Raven was quite intrigued. "You haven't seen half if what Zephenn could do." Raven chuckled. She looked at both of them. "We should play 20 questions!" Raven clapped and laughed jokingly.

Nanami smiled. "That sounds like a good idea actually. It would get me to know you more." She said, looking between the two. She was waiting for him to respond to her proposition before someone asked a question. She would love to get to know these people more, especially her roommate. After all, she was going to be living with her for the next year.
