Fantasy Bellua Academy

"Okay then" Aracia said as she walked over where the white ball was. She bent over the table and used the stick the same way Alice had showed her. She aimed and hit the white ball. The other balls went sputtering, she hadn't hit the exact center, but a little to the left. She sighed and got up, looking at the others. "Who's next?"

"I will go next," Alice said. "Oh and not a bad break," Alice praised Aracia. She walked over to the general area where the cue ball was. Alice aimed but took a moment to plan out how the cue ball should move. Then Alice hit the cue ball sending it towards a solid ball and sinking it in. "Alright I'm solids," Alice stated, "So now you have to aim for the striped balls, or also called halves."

Aracia smiled "Thanks" She analized the way Alice shot to make the ball sink. "Okay, you're solids I'm halves. Which are Teru's?"

"I spectate. It's a two person game." He was surprised this had never come into contact with this game. Did she live in seclusion or something? He watched on as they played.

"Hey, I have lived in a different world all my life. The things I know from here is the knowledge of some books, movies and four days living here. " She said defensively when she heard Teru's tone. She leaned down and closed one eye for better angle. She shot the white ball and hit a striped ball and it rolled slowly into a hole. "Yay!" She squeaked "A point!" She looked at Alice with a big smile plastered on her face. "Your turn"

"Lucky for us we are here." Naoki said as he began climbing up the hill. From the top of the hill one could almost perfectly see how the sun began to gide behind the horizon. A rather tall tree lay almost on the middle of it. Naoki hovered onto the top branches in order to get the best view possible. He looked down at Kayle. "You should really come here, the view is priceless." Naoki said while offering him a hand to help him up the tree.

Kayle hesitated but took the proffered hand, pulling himself up into the branches with ease. "It has been many years since I have seen a sunrise as beautiful as this." He spoke, his red eyes dazzled by the sun as he kept his eyes on the sky. "Ones such as I do not often have the luxury of such moments of leisure. 'Tis only moments like now when one can appreciate the beauty of nature, unhindered by human hands." His formal tone had worsened, and he had to wrench his eyes away from the unfolding sunset before he spoke more then he should. "My apologies. My head was in the clouds, as it were." He gave a slight smile to the spirit residing next to him.

Naoki smiled slightly at Kayle before refocusing on the sunset. "I love scenarios like this...they are calm, beautiful and anybody can see them. I specially like them because during moments like this I completely disconnect from the my problems in real life, like for example the fact that tomorrow we are gonna start high school..." Naoki chuckled as the wind began blowing on his face and hair. "I usually find it hard to concentrate on things, but not with sunsets. I guess that's because they are the best way to end a healthy day."

At the mention of high school, Kayle stiffened then sighed. "In all my life, I have never been to school." He mused, staring at the sun again. "Is it such a terrible thing, to need such a distraction? I would think this school a blessing - to be surrounded by others like you, so that you are not alone... 'Tis more then others have to claim, to be sure." He glanced at Naoki. "Speaking of others, are there not other students in this school? Would it not be beneficial to acquaint ourselves before the school officially starts?"

Now it was Naoki time to stiffen at the mention of others. "I guess so...But you know, maybe they are busy doing something and don't want to be disturbed..." Naoki said as he glanced back at Kayle. "I don't want to be an annoyance to others." After he gave this weak statement he looked back at the sunset. He remained quiet, not adding any more stuff to his excuse.

Kayle remained silent, noting the tension that filled the spirit next to him at the mention of others. "It seems I must apologize once more." He finally said, turning to look at Naoki head on. "I have unsettled you with what I said, and that was not my intention. Of course, if you wish to remain unnoticed by the others, then it would be my pleasure to oblige you." He gave the spirit a small genuine smile. "After all, perhaps that approach would be best for me as well."

Naoki looked over at Kayle and smiled back at him. "You may actually be right after all. It's true that I may like to remain inside my comfort zone...but who knows, maybe in the end I will actually end up meeting someone that's friendly..." Naoki let out a small chuckle. "I've always had a hard time making friends and talking with others, you know? That's the main reason why I barely know anyone on this school...But I don't seem to have a hard time talking to you even if we barely just met. That's....weird actually."

Kayle laughed, a genuine sound that was as rare as snow in hell. "I find myself in the same predicament. You, Naoki, are probably the first person I have spoken to this much in many years." Perhaps it was because of their similar natures, Kayle thought. After all, they both sealed with the darker nature of life. Naoki was dead, after all, and demons dealt with death on a daily basis. "Whatever the reason, I find myself glad we have met, Naoki. I would be proud to call you a friend."

Naoki laughed as well. "Wow, nobody has ever told me that before, at all...But I think the same way. I am truly glad I met you Kayle ,and I don't think I could have asked for a better roommate." He looked at the sunset one last time, smile still on his face. "Maybe you are right after all, maybe we should probably look for the other people. Who knows, maybe they will end up being as friendly as you." Naoki stared down at the floor, but instead of hovering down he simply jumped off the branch, perfectly landing on his feet.

To say that Kayle was shocked would be a little understatement. Naoki knew who he was and had some idea of his powers and yet... he still accepted him. Grinning, Kayle decided to show off his powers slightly, something which he would never think of doing in front of anyone - except for his newfound friend. Concentrating hard, a column of darkness rose and he stepped on it, slowly sinking to the ground. Dismissing the darkness with a thought, he turned to Naoki and raised a brow. "Well, what do you think?"

"Yeah, I'd say we all know what that's like, to some degree. Question 18 then. Do you watch any TV shows?" Toph asked.

Soon after Naoki got off the tree he was able to witness Kayle's demon powers. He smirked at Kayle, slowly beginning to clap. "Wow, I must say that I never thought I would be able to witness the power of a true demon. Luckily I was wrong all along..." He chuckled. "I also have some powers myself." He moved a bit away from Kayle to have more room. "Now you see me." Naoki snapped his fingers and ,after a sudden puff of smoke occurred around him for a millisecond, he suddenly disappeared into thin air. "Now you don't." While on his invincible form Naoki's voice seemed to echo.

"I must say, it would be such a delight to spar with you!" Kayle said, an eager smile on his face. Of course, he would have to be careful so as to avoid hurting the spirit, but it would be a good way to release his powers without causing untoward destruction. Especially since night was coming... Darkness began to seep out of the ground, flickering like black flames at his feet. Red eyes began to glow and fangs lengthened in his mouth. "It has been a long time since I have sparred with someone." He hissed.

"It would be an honor to duel against a demon like you, Kayle." Naoki reappeared, lying against Kayle's back with his legs and arms crossed and his eyes closed. A faint wind began to blow against his Haori coat, making it wave similarly to a flag on a windy day. Naoki reopened his eyes. "But the thing is that I don't have any offensive powers. If I am invisible I can't punch or even touch any sort of solid material which means I would have to reappear a couple of seconds before striking you, leaving me helpless to an attack." He took a couple of steps away from Kayle till he was near the tree, facing the sunset. He glanced over at Kayle, the weak sun lighting just part of his face with a vivid orange. "But even if I somehow landed a punch you would barely feel it. You see, my arms aren't very strong, a consequence for my lack of exercise..."

Kayle sighed but let the dark flames around him fade away. "A true shame, Naoki. Perhaps you should start training? After all, truly defensive skills are wonderful, but one must have some sort of attack if they are to fight. It would be my pleasure to teach you, if you wish." He said, the glow in his eyes slowly fading away and the fangs receding. Flexing his hands, he stared towards the school, a thought occurring to him. "It is nearing night... Is there such a thing as curfew in this academy?"

"That's great! Now you go again, even though I forgot to go on my last turn...but that's me...forgetful. Anyways go for another stripe! And don't mind him," Alice cheered and turned her head glancing at Teru when she spoke the last few words. She leaned against the table with one hand while holding her pool stick in the other.

Teru decided to remain quiet as he watched, not acknowledging the jab at him. He was looking at the game and making judgements and mental arithmetic in his head on what he would do if he were playing. Teru wasn't a man who would go silly, he'd take it slow and figure out what he does first.
