It represents an ABSURD amount of money with respect to your people. Give some thought about how much of the Tyren economy's wealth should be kept in treasury (for you to spend), but consider putting some of it in the hands of your people. (to attend to their needs and further their own goals) -- before too long I hope most of the factions will get their economies running... and there might be more random events and development as a result. Have to wonder how potentially being "Neuvo Riche" might have an effect on the tyren lifestyle...

Was thinking I'd be nice and give the common folk a cut it's an interesting curve ball for them considering the amount and the way they got it.


But if the deal with the boat goes down soonish it could be timed for a great scene and political move for Orm.

It may be a bit before there is back and forth of goods/funds to the old world... but the Tyren are looking WELL POSITIONED for additional immigrants given current events...

Totally understand, and I keep mentioning the holidays will effect the pace of the game (more as a reminder to myself) -- I think in the days to come we'll see who's in it for the long haul and who might not be as interested. I am hoping the next couple of folks I add will be of both high quality and steadfast. We shall see.

And they're not that spread out. The Tyren and the elves are probably a good walk from each other and the exiles are maybe a day or two away on foot. The scale's a little unclear so we're keeping things vague for ease.

It was actually over a day travel inland WITH ALL YOUR STUFF... Unburdened folk can travel from shearcliff to the beach in less than a day. So yes, not THAT far apart, but certainly more spread than I imagined (which is good because it means players have agency!) I personally envisioned a cooperative settlement based around the "Marketplatz" ... Hopefully when everyone has needs for cooperation a market or centralized structures might appear there, or other faction will fill in that real estate...

That's awesome, between the prepavement inland and the security of the depression, as well as de-facto control of shipping to the beach things are very interesting to me as regards the exiles... Now if only you were as rich as the Tyren!!

Hmm... Beckon, I don't remember if this was addressed, but is there a major religion(s) in the old world?

There are many many religions -- the Muurdaan themselves are Bureaucratic Agnostics -- If a people's religion keeps them passive, or taking it away makes them violent... the Underlords are VERY sympathetic to a fair level of religious freedoms. If you would like to observe a particular religion we can have that out in PM... but there are different gods and different religions all over the world.
